Sprint Store By Mobile Rev

This is my first time at this location. I’ve always gone to the one on Rockville Pike, in the same shopping center as Trader Joe’s and Ross. I thought I’d try out this location since it’s closer to where I live now.
I’ve always had 2-​years service agreement for the past 4 – 5 years and I like it that way. When I walked in today, the person informed me that Sprint no longer does 2-​years agreement. He also said that it doesn’t matter where I go, I would no longer be able to do the 2-​years plan. They only have EZ pay plan or the other plan where you pay full price for the phone in monthly installments. I asked the guy how come when I looked online, it still offers 2-​years plan? The guy said he doesn’t know why and that Sprint should change it since they don’t offer it anymore. Anyways, I decided to go with the EZ pay plan since it sounds to be cheaper than the other option & traded in my old phone. When I went home to call customer service for a separate reason, I asked the representative why Sprint got rid of the 2-​years plan. The representative told me that they did not and according to my account I am eligible and should be able to get it. I called the Sprint store to talk to the same person helped me earlier and he said that the representative didn’t know what she was talking about because it’s «impossible» to do it. So… I called the Rockville Pike sprint store and — lo and behold — they do offer 2-​years plan upgrade. They said that while it is not offered in every store, it is still offered in some retailers — not completely gone.
So now, if I REALLY want to get the 2-​years plan, I’d have to wait 48 hours for the system to update my new plan, call customer service to cancel the plan, go back to the store and return the new phone and pay $ 36 re-​stocking fee, not getting my old phone back, AND THEN drive down to Rockville pike and sign up for the 2 years plan. Thought about all the hassle, I decided to keep my plan the way it is. I want to believe that the gentleman who helped me in this store honestly didn’t know that other stores offer 2-​years plan, but I can’t help but feel cheated. I don’t know if they’re working on commission or what, but makes me wonder if I was being played. I’m usually very happy and excited after getting my upgrade, but this time I am highly disappointed. I guess next time I’m just gonna have to drive down to Rockville Pike.

This location is a heaven sent! We came in and Garrett helped us right away with any and all our questions. He even helped us find out we were due for an upgrade so we didn’t have to go through insurance (which he was ready to help us file a claim here in store). A million times better then the location in Gaithersburg. Come here and see Garrett!

I switched from At&t to Sprint for the cut your bill in half promotion. I have been a long time customer with AT&T (10 years) and was looking to save money. I went to the Sprint store in Germantown and the staff there was amazing. Greeted me as soon as I walked in the door and it was a smooth process to switch over. They saved me almost $ 100 and got me a free tablet!!! I had a termination fee with At&t and they were so kind to help me upload my bill on Sprints website to process. I went to another Sprint store near my job (DC) to get some help with my email and the wait was super long. After about an hour, the rep told me that I had to contact my IT person to setup my email because of the server settings. Later that week I went to the Germantown location where I originally bought my phone to see if they could help me with my work email and one of the techs there was able to help me right away. I highly recommend this location to anyone who has Sprint or looking to switch.

BADDD. Ugh. Okay. First time I had a problem: My new iPhone had finally arrived. I came in to get it and transfer all my stuff from my old phone to the new one. The kid who helped me was friendly. He said he did the transfer, gave me the phone, and I left. Over an hour later, I get a text from him telling me the transfer wasn’t complete and not all my stuff was on the new phone. I checked it. Thankfully the only things missing were some apps I could just redownload, so I didn’t have to go all the way back just for that. I told him that it’s fine, I had what I needed, like my pictures. Then he ASKED ME OUT. Told me to text him whenever I want. REALLY PROFESSIONAL. I just didn’t respond.
Second time I had a problem: Another employee, I think his name was John, totally hustled me into signing up for a tablet and putting it on my plan. He gave me this bs story about how my plan was bad and if I changed it, I’d save money in the long run and get a free tablet. He assured me multiple times that I wouldn’t have to pay anything extra. He showed me random numbers, telling me he’s ”done the math” blah blah blah, so I was dumb and said okay. He changed my plan, gave me the tablet, and I left. Then when I get my bill, I see I’m being charged MORE MONEY because 1) I’m paying for data on the tablet and 2) he changed me from my amazing unlimited everything plan to a strict data plan. I immediately called customer service and complained. Long story short, the rep told me to go back to the store and return the tablet. And she’d change my plan back through her system. The plan got changed back fine. But when I went back to this store, the same guy told me some dumb story about how the rep doesn’t know what she’s talking about, how my bill is wrong, how he did the math, whatever. I just told him I don’t want the tablet, please take it back. He wouldn’t have it. I ended up having to set up something with another rep over the phone so that I could mail the tablet back instead of dealing with that store.
ALSO: When I got that new iPhone, they told me I’d be covered for damages under their insurance. But of course, when the screen cracked even with the screen protector that THEY put on, they told me I need to pay $ 200 before they can replace it with a REFURBISHED phone. ??? UGH
HORRIBLE experience. I’m going to stick with Best Buy from now on. Their service is better, their insurance is better, they have the Geek Squad, they’re better than these crappy Sprint stores.

Went in trying to upgrade my phone today at about 1pm just to find out apparently this location only offer leasing options instead of 2-​year agreements. Looked online and leasing is optional but not mandatory which is how they made it seem. Then one of the guys had the audacity to question if I even had the money when he was only offering me a leasing option which is something that I was not looking for in the first place. This is an awful experience having been a Sprint customer for several years and clearly these guys only had their best interest in mind instead of mine, the paying customer. Seriously looking into different companies and plan on reporting this incident to their corporate office.

Waited about 30 minutes to be helped. One employee was at the counter helping someone with their bill. The other was just chatting with some guy. Finally they wrapped up their conversation and the employee offered to help me. I explained that my Galaxy S4 was giving me an error message that there was no Sim Card installed. He said this was a common issue with my phone, but there was no easy fix. He went on to explain I would need to leave my phone there for at least an hour for a technician to look it over. I asked if there was anything I could do, but he just shrugged his shoulders and said he didn’t know. I didn’t feel that he was helpful at all or that he really even cared. I’ll take my phone elsewhere in the future.

Not a place to go,
Been long time with AT&T, with sprint plan we thought we could save some money so we went to Germantown sprint store. They were very nice while we were getting those phone lines, but then we had issues because we were not getting services in certain areas so we decided to cancel it after 4 days then same people were not so nice. At first they said you have 14 days to return and thats all but when we went to return the phone they said there is a restocking fee, activation fee and so on when I asked them why I was not told about this when the guy told me about 14 days to return their answer was its written in your contract. We r getting 6 lines so obviously he told us about the good thing to make it sound sweet but the rest we supposed to read those papers. I went to their store to talk about bill I received store manager told me you should call sprint I don’t work for them so they sign up people and after that u r on ur own. Since he could not resolve my issues he called his boss Dragon (thats the name he told me) and I had conversation with him then I realize that if the boss is that stupid then u can’t blame about service provided at store. He even threatened me saying there is nothing he can do for me and if I keep on going there its not going to be good for me. He said, he has 15 years experience in this business but after him saying all those nonsense I was thinking, u can train a donkey in 15 years what to do but not all people how to deal with customer.
I am not saying sprint is bad but do not sign up with this store unless you want to go through what I am going through for last 2 months…
