CNNH – Center for Neurological and Neurodevelopmental Health

I’m coming back to update my review because yes I’ve had headaches with CNNH in the past, but I’ve stuck with them and they have in turn stuck with me.
As I mentioned in my last review, I’ve been jostled around between a variety of neurologists and I’m pleased to say that this has come to an end. I have been receiving care from Doctor Mintz for a while now and I’m very happy with his attentiveness and interest in my health, both physical and mental.
I’ve also been seeing a therapist twice a month at their King of Prussia location for over a year now. This has been ENORMOUS for me. I won’t go into the personal details but suffice it to say my therapist is absolutely amazing and has been a huge help to me.
I will say that I have endured numerous mixups with receiving prescriptions for my controlled substance medication. Anyone who regularly takes a controlled substance knows how frustrating it can be to make sure you don’t run out, so there have been various issues along the way. Some of them are my fault, some of them are the result of errors in the system of CNNH, and some of the problems I’ve had can only be described as acts of God — but regardless, the nursing staff is literally always on point. Always very professional, always communicating, and not once have they let me down.
The front desk staff continues to be friendly and pleasant, and the office continues to be clean and attractive.
The King of Prussia location and Doctor Mintz have severely limited hours, but I really do appreciate how accommodating the staff has been with scheduling. My work schedule is no bed of roses either. Thank you guys for working with me.

Hands down the worst doctor’s office to deal with. With their ‘don’t call us, we’ll call you’ policy, don’t hold your breath expecting a call back. Who is running this show? The so called ‘team’ doesn’t seem to communicate with each other, let alone a patient’s family. The amount of mistakes and misinformation that this office has provided has sent us in a different direction – on the road to a new neurologist. The level of care is unacceptable. The only thing this team of clowns is concerned about is billing your insurance company and cashing checks. If you want a doctor that cares about your child, steer clear of this place!

The concept behind this place, and the doctors (when you get to see them) is great.
BUT, getting a hold of someone, especially scheduling or billing is nearly impossible. When you finally get a hold of them, you cannot get an appointment for at least 3 months. My son’s new patient appointment was scheduled almost 4 months from the time I called to schedule one! Wait time is also extremely long. For a single mom with a son suffering from ADHD, that is a big issue.
The services are great, and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Just could use some work.

I called CNNH 4 weeks ago to find out if they can do a complete neuropsych evaluation for my husband who was misdiagnosed with brain cancer and had unnecessary brain surgery. He was left with cognitive problems and our Dr at NY Neurological Institute ordered this evaluation.
I was told that Yes, Dr. Greg Alberts can do this (a 4 or 5 hour evaluation) and that someone from scheduling would call me back in a day or two. Three weeks later, after no phone call, I called the office and had to leave a message for scheduling. They have a recording that says it can take up to 72 hours for a return call and don’t keep calling.
I waited for 72 hours and called back, explained the situation with the woman who answered the phone, who said that she was very sorry and that she was sending out emails to whomever and that she would get back to me when she knew what happened.
That was yesterday and so far no call back.
During my initial call I explained that this needed to be done quickly so the results could be sent to my husbands doctor before his next appointment. I was told that they would be able to do this between the 15^th and 30^th of April.
For people who need their services, being so unprofessional is unacceptable. No doctors office should be so uncaring and disrespectful to their patients, especially in their line of expertise.
I have found another office that was professional and made the appointment for my husband during my first call to them. They have already obtained approval from our insurance company and have explained the procedure for this evaluation.
Very unhappy.

So far we are impressed with scheduling, comfort, and services for our child.
