LOVE this place! Great atmosphere, $ 3 drafts, a deli with hand-made sandwiches and grilled paninis, wine an everything you’d expect from a convenience store! They also regularly engage in seasonal events and food crawls for the community. The owner and staff are also VERY friendly. I enjoy this place.

This place has changed so much over the years. for the better. They now serve draft beer and they have changed the back area to resemble a cool bar and have added a TV! They have monthly beer nights where people try new beers while feasting on all the delicious food they make. I give this place a two thumbs up, they sweet owners are revamping this place the right way!

As far back as I can remember this sign has been dark. It’s neon tubes carelessly painted over many times. I applaud the new proprietors’ pride in ownership & am happy to see it restored to its former glory. Keep up the good work!

My wife, daughter, and I stopped in recently on an overnight trip to Gig Harbor. I was very impressed, especially when I discovered they offer draft beer you can enjoy in store(or take home with you in a growler). How cool is that? The person working the counter was also very friendly and knew much about the craft beers on draft. The store has lots of history and is worth a check in if you’re in Gig Harbor visiting from out of town.

Finholm’s is a Gig Harbor staple. It’s been around FOREVER. If I remember correctly from what my dad told me(he’s a lifelong Gig Harbor native), the original Finholm family sold it to the Dinsmores a number of years ago. The Dinsmores did a fantastic job of running the store, and kept it’s «small town» charm. My dad used to stop in every morning for his coffee. If you bought a Finholm’s coffee mug, you got free refills for life. The local Gig Harbor police used to hang out there all the time during their breaks… it really was a happy little place. Unfortunately, the business has since been sold… and the new owners no longer honor this small-town store tradition. While the building still maintains the same appearance, and classic«Finholm’s» sign… the place just isn’t the same anymore. 5 stars for what it used to be… 2 stars for the way it currently is.
