As I read some client reviews, I will agree that the stylists working there can be kind and considerate as well as knowledgeable. That’s been my experience up until today. And while they might listen, it doesn’t mean that you will walk out the door with the cut you wanted.
My stylist today gave me a perfect cut. I was so pleased. She had extra time, so she used the curling iron to add a few curls, which I rarely do. For whatever reason, she didn’t like the way my hair fell near my right ear, so she cut the entire piece off! When I told her that I was very unhappy with this, and absolutely did not like my hair so short, she said to me (and I quote) «Well, don’t let it ruin your day. It’s only one-​half an inch.»
She then interrupted me several times until I asked her to stop and listen to me. I didn’t want my next cut free. I wanted my hair back to the way she’d originally cut it.
Yes, I will find another salon. This is very disappointing for me as I have quite slow-​growing baby-​fine hair which now is so short and looks very unbecoming on me. Please, please, please. Next time listen to your customer and NEVER cut off a piece of hair because you don’t like it. Just ask your client first. It’s that easy.

Linda Araujo has been cutting and coloring my hair for over 15 years. She is very kind & considerate. A great listener who will cut conservatively (my bangs thank you!) I’m so lucky to have her keeping my wild hair tamed and healthy.

Just today I went to see Linda at Marina Bay Salon @ Spa. I was wanting a lighter hair color and some highlights. Linda was so knowledgeable and talked me through the process since I have never had highlights done to my hair before. I’m so happy with the end result. The color is spot on to what I was looking for and I love the highlights she put in. She also cut my hair and it turned out perfect. Yet again another great visit to Linda. I would definitely recommend
her.

I finally found a stylist in Gig Harbor at Marina Bay Salon. Linda Araujo has been giving me great cuts and she’s helpful at finding the right color for my fine thin hair.
It’s a very pleasant atmosphere.
I always walk out the door feeling like a new woman.

I’ve been seeing Chelsie for hair/​nails for a couple years now, and she is absolutely fantastic. Chelsie has a GREAT eye and does a wonderful job bringing your wants to life.
I would recommend her to anyone looking for a stylist in the Puget Sound/​Peninsula area.

I’ve been going to this salon and having Chris cut and color my hair for years. She’s one top notch stylist and probably the best colorist in the county. This girl knows her stuff. The salon it’s self is quaint with a friendly atmosphere. They cater to their clients always making each visit a joy.

Farrah, at Marina Bay, is the best you can find. She could easily be doing hair for the big stars down in LA. Great cuts, colors, foils, and yes, extentions too. It is hard to find someone you trust, but when you strike gold like we did, we consider ourselves lucky.
