Advanced Defense Solutions LLC is a company that trains in personal protection. Our training goals for our students are high, while our training methods are realistic and relevant to you and the world around you. We combine a training environment that is positive and encouraging and designed to provide the student with the skills and confidence to deal with potentially dangerous situations. The techniques that comprise our trainings are well researched and are considered «best practices» for personal self-​defense. Over the years we have instructed thousands of officers and civilians in defensive tactics techniques, firearms, and all relevant sub-​disciplines. Let us put our expertise to work for you.

History

Established in 2011.

Lance and Kevin are passionate about keeping good people safe. We both currently teach firearms and defensive tactics to Law Enforcement Officers full time. Advanced Defense Solutions LLC evolved by officers wanting their family and friends to be taught some of these techniques to keep them safe. So, here we are.

Meet the Business Owner

Lance Kevin N.

Business Owner

Lance is a Lead Firearms Instructor, Defense Tactics Instructor, and Use of Force subject matter expert for the Arizona State Supreme Court. He has been recognized twice by this court as the State of Arizona Firearms Instructor of the Year and serving his second term on their Staff Safety Advisory Committee. He holds certifications as a TASER Instructor, NRA Tactical Firearms Instructor, NRA Handgun Instructor, Simunitions Instructor, Live-​Fire Shoothouse Instructor, and Glock Armorer.

Kevin is a Lead Firearms and Lead Defensive Tactics instructor for the Arizona Supreme Court Administrative Office of the Courts and was instrumental in developing both the firearms and defensive tactics curriculum for Arizona’s Probation Officers. Kevin has presented Officer Safety trainings for the American Probation and Parole Association (APPA) and is a guest columnist for APPA’s Perspectives Magazine. In 2011 Kevin was named the National Chairman for the APPA’s Health and Safety Committee.
