Athena’s Window Fashions has been designing, manufacturing and installing high quality custom window fashions in Gilbert, AZ for over 30 years. Our clients have discriminating taste and choose to work with us because they want the best in quality and service. We carry a full line of Hunter Douglas blinds including Duette, Silhouette, Vignette, Luminette and many more blinds and Shutters.

We help you choose the best solution for your window covering needs. The workroom is at the same location as our showroom, so are able to follow your project from start to finish. We specialize in draperies, curtains, valances, cornice boxes, headboards, bedspreads, comforters, pillows, bench cushions, awnings and even gazebos.

Tableaux faux iron motifs are a very popular new product that we also carry.

History

Established in 1983.

Athena and John Hatch started making draperies, curtains and other soft treatments for the home in 1983. After a few years they decided to expand the business to include blinds and shutters. Currently the business is located at the North West corner of Lindsay Rd. and Warner Rd. in Gilbert, AZ.

Business Owner

Athena got her first job in a drapery workroom in Mesa, Arizona. She was only 17 years old at the time, but fell in love with making and creating beautiful treatments for the home. She quit working when her first child was born and decided to be a stay at home mom. It was not long before she was designing and sewing projects for family and friends. In 1983 she and her husband decided to open a drapery workroom. With over 30 years of experience in the window covering industry Athena can help you design what you are looking for. Athena is the mother of 5 children and 9 grandchildren. She loves designing almost as much as she loves being a grandmother.
