Daniels Desert Mountain Landscaping

I have used Daniel for the past year and it has been one difficulty after another. I paid over $ 1,000 dollars to have him put turf in my yard, covering about 6 feet long and 2 feet wide. It was a chop job from the start. When Daniel left the yard I had pieces of turf left all over, staples from the grass and it was not set in properly; therefore, the sides of the turf had a gap between the brick outline and the cut of the grass. After a day or so I went out to look at the grass and there were 2 different kinds of turf laid down, to the point you could see two distinct different colors. It took a month for Daniel to come and fix it but it was never truly fixed and done well.
After 7 months I am still having problems. The turf was a cheap brand and after 4 months the turf had burn lines where the blades are burnt off. Daniel said it was from dog urine but the fact is the dog has only been living there for 3 months and the turf was hosed off every couple days. Daniel told me the turf was guaranteed to last 10 years. Needless to say I paid $ 1,000 plus labor for turf that lasted 3 months and still is needing repaired. It was never laid properly and Daniel does not use good products in his work. Daniel will not repair the turf at this point and avoids all phone calls.
Save yourself trouble, DO NOT USE DANIEL.

Called for a price quote. He said he’d come look at my yard and let me know, then proceeded to no show, no call. I decided to give him another shot and called again a few days later. He apologized, said he’d come by that day, and proceeded to no show, no call yet again. Did he not want my money?

We hired Danny and his crew to do a complete new backyard landscape. We needed sod, cement curbing around the grass and a whole sprinkler system installed from scratch. Our plan included mounds of dirt built up around the perimeter covered with desert rocks. We wanted trees and plants planted all around to add interest.

Danny is a really wonderful person to work with. He is bilingual (English and Spanish) so nothing gets lost in translation. He and his crew showed up every time they said they would and had the whole project done in a reasonable amount of time. Our yard is a showplace! I know a lot of landscapers are flaky but not this guy!
