Established in 2001.

We opened our doors back in 2001 as a full service bicycle shop and are proud to report we now have Multiple location mainly in the SE Valley of the Greater Phoenix area. We are known for our Life Time free Service on all new bikes and are family owned.

We are also the founder of Trips for Kids Phoenix, a 501©3 nonprofit organization with a mission to use bicycles as a vehicle for lessons in confidence building, achievement, health, fitness and environmental awareness through the development of practical skills and the simple act of having fun. Trips For Kids Phoenix provides the materials, moral support and inspiration that an individual or group needs to help disadvantaged kids discover the joy of cycling!

I can’t drive, so when my trusty steel steed injures a spoked hoof, there’s no motivation like the singe of concrete that’s had the intensity of the summer sun blasting down and melting your Chucks to your foot. Tricky turn tweaked the tattered tire, torching toughened toes thoroughly. Honesty isn’t usually synonymous with mechanics of any sort, so these gentlemen are a rare find. They were able to get me back into the desert suburbanite jungle of meandering concrete & vines of traffic lights without making my wallet wince and within hours of dropping it off. Hiyo Silver!!!

I was referred to Global Bikes by a neighbor. When I called and told them the problem I was having with my bike, they gave me a rough estimate and told me to bring it down when ever and they could know exactly what the problem was. I brought it in, within 5 minutes the mechanic knew what it needed and also noticed my gears were warranted as well. So for $ 15 I got my tire trued up, and a new set of gears.
If it wasn’t for the mechanics at this place being so honest, I probably would have spent the money and had to buy a new rim. This is the best bike shop I have ever been to. Very reputable! Just like I told the store manager as I was leaving, I will definitely be back.
They also have a good choice of after market stuff. New seats, phone holsters. Anything that a novice rider like myself would need, up to a professional cyclist.

By far the best of the Global Bike shops-​probably because of the professional, friendly and knowledgable manager that has distinguished this store from their other locations and other bike shops.
That said, might you possibly get a sales person that is high pressure, arrogant or unhelpful? Sure enough, but unlike most of the other shops in the valley, that’s just not the norm here. Overall, service and selection are top notch.

So, yesterday I was doing a little research on where I could sell my specialized hardrock mountain bike. I called global bikes in Gilbert and, Luis picked up the phone. Luis said that would be something they would be interested in and also that the size of my bike was very common. He put me hold for a min or two so he could ask the guys in back to see how much I could get for a 2006 specialized hardrock. After he returned to my call, Luis said that he could offer me between 125 — 150 but I would have to bring it down to the shop and have the bosses check it out and would have the final word…
Today… Brought my bike down (from North Scottsdale) to there Gilbert location. As it turns out Luis was there and he says that he remembers the call and that he said all of those things. But the (bosses) said that there weren’t looking to buy any used bikes as off now. They all really didn’t give a you know what and all they could say was… Sorry bro.
I absolutely would never recommend this business to sell your bikes or anything with two wheels. I would put zero stars for this company if I could.

Great local company. Easy to work with and they offer free tune ups for the life of the bike… if you remember to take it in. I have an 11 year old with a BMX bike. When I finally took the bike in for a tune up the staff were surprised at the damage that a boy can do in a year. However, given a few days they had it runnng like new for under $ 100 (tires, grips, pedals, etc). I would recommend them.

Since posting my last post, Global Bikes has gone out of their way to remind me just how good of a bike shop they really are! I have to remember that everyone has a bad day, it doesn’t always reflect the entire business.

I bought my bike here because I got a pretty decent deal and was excited about the free tune ups. Turns out the service team isn’t very good here.
DON’T be fooled by the free tuneups. My $ 3000 bike did not shift right from day 1. I took it back to Global 4 times and even tried 2 shops (Gilbert and Ahwatukee). I was told «that’s just how they are supposed to shift». Even though it was skipping gears and shifting REALLY slow.
I eventually took my bike to Cactus Bikes. They made about 3 adjustments and it was shifting just like you would expect — hitting all the gears in both directions and would shift quickly. Looks like I will be a Cactus customer from now on.

Bought my first road bike in 35 years at Global Bikes. No pressure to buy more bike than I needed. Took over two weeks to make a decision — yet each time I went in to talk with Dustin, he was happy to see me. They have a great reputation for excellent service and certainly have a winning formula with no-​pressure sales. I really got the impression that they were looking for a life time customer and not simply trying to make a quick sale

I’m from CA, and I was in AZ for a race, my bike was hatin it! I went to all the other local shops and no one knew how to fix my dérailleur. But I went to Global Bikes and talked to the service manager Jake SCV Shaw, and he told me exactly what was wrong with my gears after a nice ride up some long hills, it took some time riding to get it figured out but Jake was determined to fix it, and boy did he! It works so much better than when I bought it!!! I wish I lived in Chandler, AZ so he could touch my bike all the time!

I have wanted to purchase a bike for years as I haven’t had one since I was a kid. I had absolutely no idea what I wanted when I walked in (besides a kickstand and basket!) so needless to say I had to be educated.
Dustin was fabulous. He spent so much time with me explaining different options, and letting me ride several bikes around the parking lot. I was a little particular with what style, what color, how many gears, etc. I was all set to buy the orange one– even though I told Dustin he was breaking my heart because I really liked the green one– and his comment was «we have to sell you a bike you will love.» He then basically ended up building a bike for me… the green bike, with that bike’s gear shift, and that bike’s tires, etc… all down to the basket.
I love riding around my neighborhood in my green machine. I even attached a Wee Ride so that my toddler son tools around with me as well. The first thing he points to in the garage is my bike– and he starts to grab for his helmet.
Green Machine Bike… few hundred bucks. Precious time building memories with my son… priceless!

Best bike shop in Gilbert hands down.
They have road bikes, Mountain bikes, BMX Bikes, Cruisers and more.
The staff is nice and they are very involved in the community. They offer classes on how to ride, how to train, how to maintain, first aid and more.
I have bought two mountain bikes from this shop and they have sponsored and/​or provided sag support for several rides all over the state.
They will treat you right.

I attended a free Emergency Road and Mountain Bike Clinic last night, and was very impressed with how prepared they were. I discovered the clinic through
This was a ‘no sales pressure’ clinic, full of advice, real world stories, and hands on demonstrations. I was familiar with most of the material, but managed to pick up several good habits which I look forward to using. I also learned about tire boots.
They also covered chain wear, and hosted a hands on chain replacement workshop at the end of the clinic. Brandee thanked me for coming, and invited me to the triathlon clinic.
The shop is big enough to accommodate 12 seats with a display table in the back part of their store. The area was well lit, and at a comfortable temperature. I could easily hear both presenters during the whole clinic.
Global Bikes is going to be putting on more clinics, with different topics, such as triathlon training with a bike. They also offer discounts at their clinics, and you get to meet up with other east valley riders, and possibly find a new riding crew.
Global Bikes are also one of the few local shops that sells the Specialized Armadillo flat resistant tires. If you’re tired of the amount of times you’ve had to change out a tube, then take a look at this product.
Global offers several services, including a 45 minute bike fitting, where they check you against your bike, and make adjustments to provide for the most comfortable ride possible. If you’re cramping in your upper body, getting shoulder strain, or a sore back, if may be time to get your bike fitted to your body.
