History

Established in 1993.

We are a family-​owned, founded in 1993 by Robert and Michelle Galvan and have been part of the East Valley Community for 20 years. Our goal has been to build relationships of personal service, integrity and value. The Floor Store is licensed for both Commercial and Residential work. Robert began his flooring career as an Installer of various flooring products. Over the years he has become know as an «expert» in his field. He is a Certified Inspector and was an instructor at the Pergo Installation School as well as having certifications for several other specialty products. Robert was also one of a handful of flooring contractors asked to assist the Registrar of Contractors in rewriting the Minimum Workmanship Standards for Flooring in Arizona. We place a high emphasis on our ability to not only select the best products for your home, office, or project, but to make sure that they are installed in accordance with the manufactures’ specifications.

Manager

Eldest of two sons, Robert grew up in the flooring business. He worked with his Dad learning the installation business. Upon entering high school, demands of academics and wrestling increased so he worked in the showroom learning the products, assisting with measures and blue prints. Later graduated from ASU’s W.P. Carey School of Business, Robert decided to stay involved with the business. Robert’s asset is his desire to continue to educate himself on products and their advancements, and installation specifications in the ever-​changing industry. His expertise grows as does his certifications. Robert has been involved in the Small Business Alliance Group where he is a Small Group Assimilator. He spends off time with the Big Brothers and Sisters Program, songwriting and playing music around the town, and is involved with The Arizona Songwriters Association.
