Renew Salon and Spa

I wish I found this place sooner! Great salon, very warm & friendly staff that makes you feel super comfortable. I used to travel all different places for my cut/​mani/​threading, but Renew is a one stop shop. The prices are extremely reasonable especially in their exclusive area.
An excellent experience and will be recommending to friends.

Booked a last minute appointment and had my nails and hair done by Lori. She is very sweet and did a great job. She really listened to what I wanted and did her best to replicate photos I showed her. You can tell that her clients are important to her. Recommended!

Great salon! Warm, cozy, professional (but not snobby) and not overpriced. $ 35 for a haircut and blow dry. I have been looking for years for someone who can do layers and good shaggy bangs. I got a recommendation for Lori and she didn’t disappoint. It’s hard to find someone who doesn’t give you a mullet when you ask for layers but Lori knew exactly what she was doing. I love my hair for the first time in 2 years.

Anna was absolutely amazing! I have very heavy, curly hair (but when brushed out it becomes wavy). She understood everything I was looking for in the haircut and explained everything she was doing, which I loved. At first, I was hesitant about the cut because I’m not used to letting my curly hair actually act the way it wants, but the cut she gave me keeps it all under stylish control. I’m so thrilled and I’m definitely coming back. Also, I got the deep conditioning treatment and my hair feels especially soft and strong several days later.

The people here are super nice, they are not pretending to be something their not. I not a local and the stylist walked me through her idea to help fix my hair. I was treated well and felt pampered .If I’m in the area again I trust their staff to color or cut my hair, the girls listened and included me in conversations. Thank you for an awesome experience.

I had my hair done in an updo by Grace and makeup done by Orlando for a party that I was hosting a few weeks ago. It was my first visit to the salon and had a great experience. Grace did a great job with my hair and the make up done by Orlando came out amazing. The make up held through the entire night. I received so many compliments by everyone at the party. They were also both very personable and a pleasure to talk to!

I stopped by ReNew today on the recommendation of a coworker. I am in the market for a new salon now that we’re moving, but today’s mission was clear: I needed to trim off the dead spirits that have been living in my split ends.
I went as a walk-​in, and they were able to squeeze me in even though they looked busy. I mentioned that I didn’t have much time and I just wanted a no-​frills trim (no wash, blowout etc.)
The woman at reception, Zana, was extremely friendly, personable and helpful. She suggested (in a non-​pushy way) that I sign up for their rewards program, which I did and is actually really cool (other retailers use it too, it’s called Belly).
Lori was my stylist, and she was super sweet and quick — no awkward haircut conversation here! She suggested (again, not in a pushy way) a product for my hair, and I actually bought it and have already used it.
Looks like I may have found my new hair salon! Good to note that they also do nails, waxing, facials and massage!
Just make sure you have cash for a tip — they don’t accept tips on a card, and the closest ATM is across the street.

Had a facial done by Zenia and it was a wonderful experience. She was very sweet, professional and knowledgable. She walked me through each step of the process and was very accommodating to my requests. My skin looked fabulous and glowing afterwards. She had a gentle hand with the extractions too. Will defiantly return to have another facial by Zenia!

Another 5 star review just because I have a new stylist. Kristen is amazing! I kind of just go in with a vague idea, like I want to go blonde or add red, and she makes the perfect suggestions ! She’s colored my hair twice now and both times I’ve loved how it’s turned out. Not only that but she’s fast, but not in a rushing you kind of way, and she is of course super friendly. The staff is always so concerned to make sure you are happy. Kristen for all your color and cut needs and you’ll definitely be happy!

Renew Salon & Spa did my hair and make-​up for my wedding. Both my hair and make-​up came out beautifully. The stylists were professional and did great work. A few of my bridesmaid’s and my mother also got their hair done as well. They too looked great. The hair and make-​up held up well during the duration of the wedding, and I was very pleased. The salon is pretty pricy, but they do good work.

I got waxed here and it was the best experience I’ve ever had with waxing. This is the only service I have gotten done here because I normally go to another cheaper salon, but there was a groupon so I gave it a try. If I had more money to spend on the services, I would definitely make the switch. I have been getting waxed for a few years I’m not afraid of waxing, but this place uses a variety of great waxes that don’t pull on the skin at all. The woman who worked with me (I can’t remember her name but I think it started with a Z) was extremely friendly and accommodating. I wanted to get waxed before going away, but could only make a later time, and she stayed later than she normally does for me! Excellent service and I highly recommend it.

I love Kristen. I’m really picky when it comes to my hair so my first visit I asked a million questions about her techniques products etc. She was very pleasant and answered them all with no problem. She knows her stuff and I’m never disappointed. Been to her twice (about to go a third time) and both times she somehow understood what I wanted and gave me exactly that. She is also very knowledgeable about hair and what may happen. I went from red to brown with highlights and she expected the highlights to come out a bit pink so she was ready with a toner (and guess what they were pink haha). By the time I left she achieved the impossible and got me to a brown with no brassiness (with a touch of red but not bad at all). By the second visit it was a perfect brown.
As for the salon everyone is so friendly and polite. The offer me coffee once I walk through the door (and I love my coffee!). I was struggling to find a go to place and I’m so happy I found one. Thanks ReNew!

I went here for a manicure and I’m not very happy with the results. The woman who did my nails was friendly but other than that I don’t have anything else good to say. The manicure took over an hour, I got shellac which usually doesn’t take more than half an hour. Considering how long she spent I expected my nails to look amazing but the polish is all uneven, really thick and lumpy at some parts and other parts don’t even have polish on them. There’s also polish on my skin around my nails. On top of that I told her not to file my nails too short and she did the exact opposite! And when I would ask her to stop filing because they were short enough she would give me some reason for why she was filing them and keep going. I felt too bad to complain in front of my nail technician and tried calling when I got home but the salon had already closed, in fact she finished with my nails half an hour after they were supposed to close.

I went to get my nails done and, since I have unruly curly hair, to get a Deva cut. I had my nails done by Grace and she is a wonderful, sweet lady. We talked the entire time but I think she is also has a good gauge of when not to talk. She did a great job with my nails.
After my nails I got my hair done by Kristen. She was amazing. Incredibly sweet and friendly and she did a wonderful job. I looked great walking out the door and two washes later my hair still looks great. That’s hard to achieve. She never pushed any products on me and was very respectful of my time. I am definitely coming back to Kristen.
Overall, I highly recommend this place. The staff is very accommodating and the ambiance is very pleasant!

I’ve been going to this salon now for a year and a half and I couldn’t be happier. My original stylist left and the Jeanine, the owner, went to great lengths to personally make sure I knew as soon as possible and to reschedule me with a stylist she thought would be a good fit. Jeanine runs a smart business and it seems that everyone who works there is talented, happy, and consistently getting more and more training, which I love. They recently added organic color to their line and it’s fantastic. I strongly recommend Renew.

Great place! Went for cut and highlights from Unilocal deal. Everyone was really friendly from beginning to end. Kristen did my hair and she was meticulous and very helpful with recommendations! She went above and beyond and I will definitely go back. Atmosphere is comfortable — not snooty like at some other salons!

Nice establishment! Everyone was friendly. I had a spa pedicure and a regular manicure with Grace; she was lovely to talk to, and I loved the spa foot treatment (sugar scrub, hydrating masque and such) but she painted the color on my nails rather messily. Seemed a little too expensive for the experience and the results.

Great hair cut & styling! I went for coloring too. They had a good understanding of realizing that my hair because of its current color (dark) needed a different approach to change it to the color I wanted. They used a combination of darker color for the root and lighter for the areas that were at the back.

I’ve been coming to Renew for years and love it there. Anna gives the best cuts and really listens to what you want but also makes honest suggestions. She’s very busy but never makes you feel rushed. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing. Everyone is extremely accommodating and friendly. Orlando is quick to offer you a cup of coffee, tea, water and to take your coat for you. The entire staff makes you feel like a star.
