History
Established in 1957.
Arthur Welch has been in the accordion business since 1957 as a studio owner, teacher, repair technician and professional performer. Accordion Connection LLC became a lifelong goal in 2004 when he purchased a 4500 square foot facility. This retail building now provides a beautiful showroom, music room for concerts, workshops, and meetings, and a large repair shop to accommodate our many customer orders for accordion service. 2 full-time repair technicians are master craftsmen in their own right. All work done is guaranteed for 1 full year from date of service. The music room is also home of New Hampshire Accordion Association where they have their meetings on the third Saturday of each month. Accordion Connection LLC is proud to offer quality accordions, service, and co-sponsors an annual festival of accordion music called Accordions Now! The NH Accordion Association also co-sponsors the festival. Accordions are our only business.
Meet the Business Owner
Arthur W.
Business Owner
Master Craftsman and owner of Accordion Connection LLC.
Arthur began playing the accordion at age 11 after 5 years on the piano. He became an accordion teacher in 1957 and then studio owner for many years in Manchester, NH. He learned tuning and repair with the technicians at Giulietti Accordion Company in New York. After closing his studio operation in 1984 he maintained his career as a professional performer in addition to repairing and tuning accordions for his customers. The repair business grew so much that he took on an apprentice in 1999. He also trained the 2 technicians who are on staff with us now. He now helps accordion players with their purchase of new or used accordions. As a player himself he understands their wants and needs. He is very proud of his own line of new accordions from Italy — Acctone. Superior quality accordions at a reasonable price. He welcomes you to call with your accordion questions.
