Bracco’s Towing & Transport

Worst tow service I have ever used. I waited almost 3 hours for them to get to my vehicle. The current ETA was 45 minutes after I called my insurance. The guy didn’t get there until two hours after the first ETA that I was given. I called twice to make sure the guy was coming and they gave me a wrong ETA 2 more times. Next time I’ll make sure my insurance doesn’t pick them again. Plus it was hot! Thanks for getting my truck home, but no thanks for the long wait.

Nick, from Bracco’s towing came to relocate a 20′ shipping container. Nich showed up on time, proficiently loaded the container onto the flatbed truck and dropped it to the new location. Nick was not only proficient at his work, but, he was polite and personable.

Using Ameripise, told my wife 90 minutes for Hollister city limits for a jump Took over two hours to get to her. Plus side, my wife said he was a nice guy.
Doubt I will call them if I need a tow.

I called them cause my car wouldnt start at the outlet mall. They told me 45 minutes and it actually took them an hour and twenty minutes. After trying to jump it we had to tow it. The price was. outrageous for just towing a honda. They even tried to charge me more than what they told me. I would recommend calling someone else next time.

Bracco’s Towing is fast and professional. They arrived quick after my car died and I was stuck in the middle of nowhere. Once again, thank you.

Twice now in 3 months Braccos has come out to help us. The first time I don’t remember the guys name, but super friendly and professional. This last time Nick came out and towed us. Gentlemen, nice, kid friendly (had my daughter) made sure we were safe and in the truck and then loaded my truck. He called my insurance to make sure to bring the right size truck, he handled my truck with care and unloaded it flawlessly. Let my daughter ramble most the way. Then he started to leave and found a book my daughter left in the truck and ran it back. Impressed… I ask for you guys now right off the bat. Keep your good drivers happy. It shows!

I had a flat tire and James — I think it was — arrived pretty quickly. He put on the spare in no time and even offered to put air in another tire that was low. He was very friendly and helpful. I felt so relieved and very taken care of after having waited in the hot sun, not sure if I would be able to get home. The spare held well and I did get home safely. Thanks James!

Good experience, able to pick my car up in Morgan Hill within 45 mins and delivered to Sunnyvale within 40mins. James was courteous, quick and quite pleasant. Overall a good job despite my car being kaputski.

Be careful if you are calling after business hours and getting Bracco’s dispatch. Called Bracco’s 7÷19÷15 to get a tow truck for our boat trailer which had broken down on Hwy 101. We were told 30 – 45 minutes. After an hr, called back, after several minutes on hold, they had no record of my calling in. Went with another tow company but called Bracco’s back when I was safely home to let them know that I was troubled by them not having any record. Again I was told they had no evidence of my calling in. During biz hrs, I spoke with mgr Danny to let him know about the poor service he is getting from his dispatch. He took my number and said he would call. Never did. I called him back twice. Finally called the owner, Dion and was told that dispatch said that we «cancelled the tow.» So how do they go from no record of a call to we cancelled?

After I complained to the owner of this towing company, they agreed to mail me back $ 105. And the owner said the tow truck guy who ripped me off no longer works for them. I don’t know that’s true or not. But anyways, he did mail me a check for $ 105. So I am glad that I got that money back.

If your insurance ever says that this place is going to be towing you, ASK FOR A DIFFERENT ONE (even if it is farther away… They’ll probably get to you before Bracco’s anyway!). They exceeded the quoted time given to me three different times and the dispatch (rude male working on Wednesday around 4−5pm) does not have any customer service skills. He was short, impatient and unsympathetic. I asked for an updated eta since it had been over ten minutes the quoted time and he said in a rude manner «ma’am, I’m NOT speaking with the driver right now. So I don’t know, I’m just reading you the notes I have for your vehicle tow.» How unhelpful! I asked him to call the driver and he said «hold on» and «called the driver» (who knows if he did or not). He then gave me a quoted time that was STILL exceeded!!! I waited 3.5 hours for an original 45minute-​1hour quoted time! Their reason was that I called when they switched dispatchers and my call was never sent out to a driver! They didn’t even call me directly to explain or apologize — they talked to my Geico rep and made them apologize on Bracco’s behalf when it wasn’t even Geico’s fault!!! Absolutely ridiculous!
The only good thing was that the driver James was very quick in setting my car up for the tow when he got there and he knew the best way to avoid traffic to get to my preferred shop.
Other than that… Bracco’s was a terrible experience!

When you are stranded the last thing you expect from the people that are supposed to tow your car should at least be nice on the phone. I talked to 3 different people and apparently they are all rude. Be nice to your customers. Is that to much to ask?

Horrible service. They are so rude and when I made an appointment to pick up my car on a Saturday, I had to pay $ 80 bucks for them to show up and the guy was an hour late!

I love my Honda Fit, but seriously, sometimes size matters.
Those little tires are at risk for some flats, and the battery can’t seem to use the emergency blinkers long enough to keep a charge! Not only did I end up needing a jump start, but a rescue from a bad location on a tiny shoulder of the 101…
Ruben from Bracco’s showed up and dealt with the situation flawlessly. He was great company and did his job with ease, which is important in these situations that have potential to ruin the day. He dropped me at the nearest tire place, which was a wonderful/​cost effective recommendation, and I was able to safely return home feeling grateful for the help and quality service.

My 2001 Rav4 was stranded in Morgan Hill after a day of whale watching at Moss Landing. I used my roadside assistance through AT&T and they linked me with Bracco’s because I needed a tow to Walnut Creek, which is a little over an hour away. AT&T wouldn’t pay for the tow because they only provide the first $ 50 which covered the hook up to the tow truck. I needed a place that would take credit card because I didn’t have any cash on me, but the rate Bracco’s gave was reasonable at $ 5/​mile and they take CC. It ended up costing $ 340 from Morgan Hill to Walnut Creek, which isn’t bad in the grand scheme of things.
James, our driver, called 30mins before he came to pick us up to let us know where he was and was super professional and friendly. His tow truck was immaculately clean and definitely the best tow ride I’ve ever been on. He even provided water for the ride, which I thought was a very nice touch. Once on location, he parked my car, which was completely dead, into the spot perfectly from his tow truck.
If I had cash on me I would definitely tip him for the excellent haul he provided, hopefully this is review makes up for my uncouth cash-​lessness. I can’t say enough thanks for his service.

Called Bracco’s to inquire about the cost to transport our vehicles to Oregon where we are moving. They said that they would call me back with the cost. That was two weeks ago and I have never heard back from them. Apparently they are not interested in getting my business, and not even interested in calling me back to say they are not interested in the job. Considering the lack of follow-​up, it is a good thing we aren’t stranded by the side of the road waiting for them to show up…

Absolute worst tow company in south county! Called insurance for a tow. They told me it would be 60 min. Two hours later & several calls to my insurance co. Bracco’s shows up, drags my car with collapsed wheel onto a flat bed and when he got to my house couldn’t get it off. Had to go in my garage & get my floor jack to lift up the front end as he was in a big hurry to move on. Seems only one guy was covering two counties, but failed to tell the customer, then reamed me an arm, leg & other parts that insurance didn’t cover, just to go 9 miles. DON“T USE THIS COMPANY.

Nightmare experience with this company. Three different dispatchers lied to me about estimated arrival time with my insurance company listening in. My insurance company called me back to verify that the dispatcher lied about what time they received the request for a tow from them. Braccos left me alongside 101 for over three hours, into the darkness. When the driver finally showed up, he called dispatch back and asked them why they didn’t tell me the truth so I could have requested another company and they lied to him too. The worst ever experience with a towing company!!! Dispatchers names are Sam, Aaron and India, in case management wants to follow up. They were written up by my insurance company too.

This company is the best tow company I have ever dealt with. They are professional, courteous and really care about pleasing their customers. Bracco’s is in a class apart.

So here’s a great story that restores my faith in customer service:
i had a 1972 Beetle… it kept having starter problems, but this time i was in Gilroy and my mechanic was in Santa Cruz, i needed a tow… So i called my insurance and they sent Bracco’s Towing out…
A very nice looking maroon and gold truck came out. The tow operator was a friendly young guy. He took at look at my car and quoted me for the tow. THEN he had a great idea… «why don’t we try to push start it?»
«well, ok let’s try» i agreed…
so he actually got behind my car and pushed it while i tried to throw it into 2^nd gear and start the motor… IT WORKED! I gave the young man a $ 20 tip for his ingenuity, but honestly the time he saved me, saved my day! I drove to my mechanic and then walked the 2 blocks to work and wasn’t late! Bracco’s Towing saved me from getting chewed out by my manager :) which was priceless…
