I didn’t actually have a chance to work with these guys, but I just called and the secretary was able to help me troubleshoot my garage door on the phone, so here I am trying to payback that good deed. My garage door works on the warm days, but sensors stop working when it gets cold or night time. The lights on both sensors were on so I presumed everything was OK, but the woman on the phone told me that they can still be very sensitive, and that I should clean them and realign them. Sure enough, realigning was the problem. Sensors were aligned close enough to have the light barely come on, and work on warm days, but as it got cooler it stopped working. Thanks for her assistance, really appreciate it!

Called one afternoon last week and spoke with a very pleasant woman. She stated they could replace my remote battery — the case is very hard to open — so I said I would be right down. The young man who assisted me not only opened it up, replaced the battery and put the whole thing back together. Additionally, gave me a tip regarding the use and how the remote may reset so «try it a couple of times and then, if it doesn’t work hit the reset button on the unit». Thank you for that as I would have been there trying to figure it out. Great place, great people and great location. Definitely would go back here.

We wanted to change the our old garage door opener to the newer ones with battery back up and Wifi capability. They came and did the job very well. Explained all the features and set the home link for our cars also. we are very pleased with their work and highly recommend them.

Dont use this company they have felons that work for them .
i had a tech come to my house and he was talking about how
he spent 7 years in prison. They put in an opener and it took him forever
to finish the install and way over charged me and my family.
there are other companys in gilroy i would of used them if i knew they
where also doing this kind of work in the area.

I purchased a garage door. They responded to my phone call right away, delivered on time, and the installation was done by a guy who knows what he’s doing. They are all pleasant on the phone and worked around my busy schedule. Highly recommended.

The worst experience eve– never going to use them again and if anyone asks me I’ll tell them to stay far, far away.
Back and forth emails took forever to be quoted. The door finally arrived. Installer was very nice. The door was not what I was quoted. Header board wasn’t a complete piece of wood. So it looks awful. The door itself looks like a cheap $ 500 home depot door. And they want to charge me $ 1100 for it.

Bought a new garage door opener and had it installed. They did a great job, repaired my garage door too. Friendly, professional, excellent customer service. Honest too. I was worried I needed a new garage door (right before Christmas, bad timing) but he said no, just needs a little repair. Great job. We would not hesitate to recommend them. Thanks!

I was so impressed by the Customer Service of this business. I offered them a challenge of finding decorative window inserts for our garage door which had long since been discontinued. I had gone to Lowes who couldn’t help, and then Home Depot where the associate actually recommended Jack’s Overhead Doors, claiming he had heard they were great… and YES they were. It actually took some time to find inserts that would work, but they didn’t give up– and actually the replacement inserts are more beautiful than the ones we had! So thank you everyone at Jack’s Overhead Doors!
