Meet the Business Owner

Diane S.

Business Owner

Diane fell in love with cooking and baking when she was 10 years old when in an effort to get out of doing chores she offered to make dinner for her mother. One favorite activity was watching Julia Child and Jacque Pepin on TV with her father and then later try to recreate their dishes.

In her professional life she was able to plan events that included special events from black tie balls to charity golf tournaments with silent and open auctions.

Her love of cooking inspired what she called «Guinea Pig Dinners» where she would take a meal out of Bön Appetite magazine or a a new cookbook and invite friends over to taste her newest creations.

Her son is a Le Cordon Bleu chef and is her executive chef.

One day, her brother called to say, «I am in a bind, I need to provide lunch for my bible study group, would you mind throwing something together? soon after one of the ladies in his group called and asked if I would mind cooking for her daughter’s graduation. It was Just In Thyme.
