Wow! A group of six cyclists stopped in here on a long ride from San Jose to the Pinnacles and found heaven on a baking sheet.
This bakery has some AMAZING Mexican breads and pastries plus a few other little things like coffee, some fruit, and snacks, and the most friendly staff to top it off. We asked to use their restroom (we were very hydrated cyclists, remember), which was clearly an inconvenience for the staff as they escorted us all the way through the preparation area, but they still accommodated us with smiles and cheer.
They don’t charge even half what these pastries are worth — low prices and excellent friendly service mean we’ll be back!

I don’t know why this Unilocal review says «CLOSED» at the top. Max and Juanita are in the bakery 7 days a week. Great Mexican breads, pastries, cookies, and cakes. See my review under «Las Americas Bakery» without the «CLOSED» on it.
