Established in 1999.

After a career as a corporate Vice President with a Kansas City based retailer, Dick Clemens left the corporate world to help small business with their Accounting and tax needs. BDS has constantly grown under Dick’s leadership. While growing the customer base, there have been significant improvements in managing BDS’s systems. BDS operates in a near paperless environment, we file 100% of tax returns electronically.

Dick graduated from Pittsburg State University with a Major in Accounting.

After a tour of duty, Dick joined the financial staff of Western Auto. Dick was an Accounting leader, rising to the position of Vice President. While with Western Auto, Dick was one of the first 1,000 people in the US to pass the examination of a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)

After the Western Auto career, Dick purchased BDS Accounting.

In 2002 Dick passed the Enrolled Agent (EA) examination. As an EA, Dick is authorized to represent taxpayer’s before the IRS.
