History

Established in 1997.

Walls by Macaluso was born out of a project Brenda did in her own home. When her children were little, she created murals in their bedrooms. During an evening at home entertaining some friends, who happen to be home builders, they saw the work that Brenda had done and asked if she would apply decorative painted murals in the homes they were building. A short time later Brenda Macaluso had started her business.

In the beginning murals had been a big part of her business. Over time she found that her clients needed her to expand into decorative and faux finish painting. She began taking classes and doing extensive research on faux finishing. It was during her first class that Brenda fell in love. She describes faux finishing as something she was meant to do.
