Dee’s One Smart Cookie is a gluten free/dairy free/soy free/peanut free facility. We also produce a wide array of egg free goodies for our egg allergic and vegan customers. We use only the highest quality, primarily organic ingredients. Our products are free of preservatives, artificial colors and artificial flavorings. We bake fresh daily to deliver a unique gluten free experience. You will find muffins, coffee cakes, cookies, breads, cakes and cupcakes, brownies, blondies and a variety of dessert items daily. On Tuesday we make a 12″ flatbread pizza with a variety of toppings., Wednesday is egg free day, which is when you’ll find a larger selection of egg free products, along with yeast free bread. Friday we offer a 9″ thin crust pizza with a variety of toppings. We specialize in cakes… ranging from a small birthday cake to a 4 tiered wedding cake.
You’ll also find our bread and dessert items at a growing number of restaurants.
History
Established in 2008.
The owner of Dee’s One Smart Cookie, Diane «Dee» Kittle, left the corporate sales world after 20 years to pursue a career based on her passion of baking, entering a culinary pastry program. That career could have been derailed after her diagnosis of Celiac Disease in 2008. Instead, she spent several months developing her business plan and creating her recipes, placing an emphasis on high quality, all natural and organic ingredients. Dee’s opened on November 4, 2008 and has been happily serving customers gluten free and allergen free baked goods ever since.
