Takeout was terrible!!! Wife and I agree we won’t go back. Food seemed old and dried up. Lime wedge was even dried up! The little slivers of celery sticks we got with our wings was unbelievably small! $ 39.00 takeout for two people, should be better! Good luck!

Stopped by here with a friend after an evening of tennis, and I have to say I was not impressed. One doesn’t go to Applebee’s for a 5 star experience, but there were some serious problems with the food. –Food: We ordered a plate of hot wings as it was ½ price apps and I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with fries. The wings were fine; saucy and tasted good. The rest of the meal only went downhill from there. Immediately upon receiving my fries, I noticed they weren’t that hot. I’m not even sure that one would consider them warm. Whatever, I told myself, I was partially filled from the wings and had a burger(which was what I was most looking forward to), so I figured I wouldn’t be eating many of these anyway. Sadly, the burger, despite being requested to be medium-well, was incredibly dry and quite lacking in flavor. I don’t normally use much ketchup on my burgers since I like the taste of the burger itself, but I had to use some with this, else I’m not sure I’d be able to swallow it. The bacon was slightly overcooked too. If there is a saving grace to this it was that while a bit dry, it was still edible, and I was pretty hungry from 3 hours of tennis, so it mostly all got eaten. –Cost: For a dry and bland burger and tepid fries, $ 11 is way too much. The wings were half off and were definitely worth the price. Also, my friend was tapping around the touch screen device on our table and somehow managed to purchase a game of Memory that lasted about 20 seconds and cost him a dollar, which I found hilarious. I think he probably tapped too fast, but those games really shouldn’t cost that much, haha. –Service: Our waitress was nice, but service as a whole was pretty slow.(Order taking, food delivery, and handling of the check). I wasn’t in a rush, which is good. –Atmosphere: It’s an Applebees. Was reasonably clean. –Overall: Maybe my expectations are a little high, but I would be extremely hesitant on coming here again. Our server was nice and the wings were reasonably tasty for being half priced, but that’s about it in the way of positives. Instead of spending $ 20(with tip), I would take $ 5 fries and burgers from any fast food place in a heartbeat. It’s possible we had an off night, but it was off enough to not really encourage me to come back with all of the other options in the area. Maybe other Applebee’s are better, but this experience was an Apple C Minus for me.

If Unilocal offered Zero Stars that would be my choice instead of 1. This Applebee’s is the worst I have ever been to. Today’s experience sealed the deal for me. First something positive, the GM Sam is a very nice guy. Unfortunately finding good help in management must be a challenge. The several I’ve encountered here have no clue. I have also had a couple of great waitresses so you might get lucky. Their kitchen will not cook things to order. You order the item and it comes out like every other time. If there is ever an issue and you decide to ask for a manager… it will be clear to you these managers could care less and most likely were never trained to know HOW to deal with a customer complaint. It’s not rocket science people. Your job is to make the customer happy. If you do not have the personality to deal with complaints and issues relating to your food then find another job. I can tell you that without a doubt I will never enter this Applebee’s again. Good Luck if you choose to.

Went in to have a bite with a business associate for the night. Service was decent nothing to brag about. Food was your normal precooked frozen restaurant grade. They cook it well not like some places were it’d dried out by the time you get it. Atmosphere seems old and stale they could use some fun in the air.

I gave 2 stars because the servers were so nice but the food gets 1 star. I could tell it was sitting on the line too long because my pasta was dry and rubbery. Every time i come here the food gets worse and worse. The only reason i came back is i hoped the food was better because it was good at one point in time.

Just had lunch at Applebee’s and I had the new Grilled Lemon Chicken. It was delicious !! Perfectly cooked chicken breast strips on a bed of rice with apples, cranberries, pecans and a sprinkle of quinoa. It was topped with the best lemon vinegarett, so it was a little sweet, a little tart. Perfect. Our server was tied up with a computer problem so another server was nice enough to take our order. Both were very nice and very good. I’ll be back for more lemon chicken!

It’s been a while since I have been to Applebee’s for dining in. I was looking for an inexpensive but good meal and landed here. I wasn’t in the mood for appetizers, trying to sta fit where I can) I ordered a Malibu red tropical margarita… It was delicious but unlike its name. It’s not red. It’s a yellows color. Weird right? Needless to say it was good. Just super sweet though. My entrée was Bourbon Street chicken and shrimp. It wasn’t as visually pretty as I like my food to be, but taste wise it was great. It has the spicy kick I like, and it was served piping hot .and my all time favorite. And I ordered a loaded baked potato. Score! No room for desert. No need for it either after the potato and everything else. Done. Delicious… That’s it.

I don’t think large chains like Applebee’s are really affected by Unilocal reviews. But I’m doing one anyway!: GRIN: When you’re stock is traded on the New York Stock Exchange(NYSE: DIN) at $ 80 bucks a share you tend to not care about your public image. DineEquity, Inc.(formerly the IHOP Corporation) paid $ 2.1 billion in an all-cash transaction for Applebee’s back in 2007. They are a giant of a company. It’s no wonder the bartender took his sweet time even showing up! We walked in at 5:00pm(Happy Hour time) and sat there for almost 10 minutes before the guy even returned from whatever it was he was doing. While we sat there drinking our beers I noticed the staff all huddled in a corner performing some creative«team building» exercises. Neck massages, playful head locks, mild gossip, and then finished off with what appeared to be a «Scrum meeting»(you can Google that) We were only here to kill time before the Unilocal Elite event. Thankfully we got out of there in 30 minutes. To be fair the hostess was on point, and it appeared the waitresses’(those who were actually working) seemed to be doing a good job. I know it was a lull before the dinner rush but you still need to be professional during slow business. When it’s slow like that it makes no sense to make people wait. I decided the other day to have lunch in Applebee’s as it has been a while. I was hungry for a good burger. After looking at the Menu, the Bourbon Black & Bleu Burger got my attention as it had Caramelized Onions, Bacon, Red Bell Pepper, Jack Cheese & Chipotle Mayo. I ordered it Med Rare with French Fries. I did ask for additional Bleu Cheese. My Server was Britney, and she came by twice to let me know it would be ready soon, as it took about 20 min. for the burger to come out… The strange thing, I do not think there were 8 people in the place and most were already eating… When the Burger came out, I could tell the fries were already OVER cooked and I was correct. They just left them in the Fryer a little too long and I felt like when I ate a Fry, I had to chew on it for a while or wash it down with water… I was disappointed in how the fries were cooked. Upon biting into the burger, it was Well Done with NO seasoning. Remember, I asked for Med. Rare. The Burger was dry as though they had cooked it for 15 min. I debated on whether to send the whole plate back or not, however I was in a rush as I had the dog in the car and I did not want to wait another 20 min for another dish. Britney came over to ask me, how was everything. So, I was honest with her and told her I would NOT order this again as they must have a NEW Cook in the Kitchen who does not know how to Cook… She said, the regular cook had been sent home so they could give this NEW cook some time on the grill. Now, I can understand as to why it took 20 min, and most of all… why everything was OVER Cooked… I paid for his Cooking lesson. I am giving it 3 Stars because Britney did offer me a FREE Desert for my disappointment, however I said NO. If it was not for her, I would have giving Applebee’s 2 Stars. So, I think it will be a while before I return to Applebee’s.

I really do love Applebee’s… but I don’t think I will be returning to this location. The appetizer plate we were given was dirty, and we had to point it out to get a new one. That would have been understandable if the rest of our service hadn’t have been slow.

We went on a double date and ate here 3÷1÷2014. It’s Applebee’s so you pretty much know what to expect. Service was good… not great. No real complaints in that aspect. We had the 2 for $ 20 deal, the Citrus Lime Sirloin, Chicken Tenders with Fries and the Mozzarella Sticks as our App. The other couple with us got the same thing. I was not impressed with my Citrus Lime Sirloin, not in the way it was cooked or presented, I just didn’t like the taste. Not the restaurant’s problem, mine. Everyone at the table had two rounds of drinks and both our bills were around $ 50. A pretty good deal. It was a nice start to a wonderful evening out.

Apple Bees! Me and my boyfriend usually come here after 9 and get the half off apps! They are have some drinks on special… I usually get the Margarita which is not good I don’t know why I keep ordering it. We usually get 3 apps and share them. This is good especially if your looking for something cheap. We have a good time overall and leave happy=]

After driving around the west end, my husband I settled on Applebee’s for dinner. I wasn’t thrilled, because I look forward to going to non-chain restaurants on date night. I was hungry, so I said ok. The place was packed, and we were told 15 to 20 minutes for two. I saw four open tables of varying sizes so I wondered why so many people were waiting. My husband asked the host if we could sit at the open two top behind him and he said sure. I am not sure if any other parties of two were ahead of us, but we sat. Our waitress, Rachel, was very nice, but that is all it had going for them. I was seated directly next to an open bucket of water they were using to clean tables, not so appetizing. Drinks came slowly, she forgot to put in our appetizer(she says she put it in) and I was starving, so I was not happy when it never showed up. My dinner was ok, fried shrimp, that was definitely frozen, but this is Applebee’s. the cole slaw had cilantro in it, which was weird. The fries were cold. Will not be coming back.

I usually come to Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar for the appetizer special. On Sundays to Thursday night, Applebee’s has half off appetizers. I usually try different appetizers. I ordered spinach & artichoke dip, sweet & spicy wings, and grilled chicken wonton tacos. The spinach & artichoke dip was good. The sweet & spicy wings were average. The grilled chicken wonton tacos were tasty. Applebee’s also has some drink specials during this time. The Bahama Mama, margaritas, and Long Island iced tea are reasonably priced. This deal is good bang for your buck. The service is usually good unless it’s busy. This location has some really cool décor. The décor is a collage of high school and college sports teams from the Richmond area. This Applebee’s has a lively atmosphere. There’s plenty of parking in front of the restaurant. If you like appetizers, Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar is a good choice.

This is the worst location, I always have issues and have even posted a review on here but some how they are getting deleted!!! Everytime I go I have to stand around for about 6min before getting greeted and then another 6min before a server even comes once at the table. I just went on Feb 9, 2012 and the service was just as bad. What really got me mad about this visit was the fact that I ordered the 2 for $ 20 with an app of Spinach and Artichoke Dip, my gf got the Chicken Fettuccine Carbonara, and I got the Bruschetta Chicken. Well the manager brought out the app. Guess what there was only 10 full chips and the rest were crushed(no more than inch in size). He is the manager, how does he see that as acceptable… Next came the entrée’s. The guy who brought it out saw we were done with our app, and left it there(it takes almost the entire table) and instead goes and takes some girls plate a few tables down. My Bruschetta Chicken didn’t even come close to what it is supposed to look like! It looks like it was all put in a deep fryer and given to me. I have posted a picture of it. My gf’s Chicken Fettuccine Carbonara was decent but missing the grape tomato’s! Lastly their healty selections contain transfat and are also about $ 3 more than a regular entrée of the same thing. Also the waitress this time was much better.
