History

Established in 2012.

Our owner and founder, Rory Francisco, worked for a major airline in Richmond for several years before starting Virginia AirLink. Rory saw the need for affordable airport shuttle service to and from Richmond International Airport (RIC). It is Virginia AirLink’s aim to be the lowest-​priced and most reliable airport transportation in town. No other company currently offers shared-​ride airport shuttles in Richmond, and no other taxi, limo or executive sedan has such affordable rates! Virginia AirLink also offers easy online booking and payment by credit card – we are 100% cashless. DMV Common Carrier of Passengers License #225 — Taxicab License #23 942.

Business Owner

Rory is a native of New York City and a 2007 graduate of the University of Virginia (B.A. in Government). From 2005 to 2012, he worked as a ground operations agent for a major airline. Rory is happily married, a member of Huguenot Road Baptist Church, and lives in Richmond’s Near West End. He loves Richmond and enjoys being a business owner.

Used Virginia Airlink to get from a downtown hotel to RIchmond Intl Airport at 5:05 am on a Tues. Prompt, courteous service and at $ 27.50 + tip, the least expensive option. Would use again.

Prompt, courteous, price wise!
As promised driver arrived in clean, comfortable van within 5 minutes of agreed upon time. Helped me w my bag, gave me time to turn off porch light and was so friendly. Got picked up at home where I was visiting and someone was reachable by phone afternoon before my 3:40 am pickup to confirm.

Virginia AirLink is great! They’re clean, on time, and reasonably priced. They take a «back route» to the Airport (from Churchill /​Shockoe) avoiding going in huge loops and traffic from going on the highway. They also have a flat rate, which is great, because you know what price you will be paying at the end of your trip. They do charge a $ 5 fee when you’re being picked up from the airport, but I think it’s still worth it (compared to regular cabs that charge you a bunch of $$$ for crawling like snails). I called 2 – 3 hours before my flights, and they were super accommodating! Definitely not going back to regular cabs. Really — try them out, you’ve got nothing to lose. :)

You can’t rely on them or trust them!!! I didn’t get picked up! I scheduled a pick-​up from my house to the airport a week in advance and was given an email confirmation/​reminder 24 hours prior to departure that I’d be picked up the next morning. Then no one showed up! I was there ready to go 30minutes before expected arrival. I tried calling repeatedly to no answer. When no one failed to show or communicate with me that I was not going to be picked up I had to call for another cab which led to me missing my flight! DO NOT USE THEM! I wasnt even issued an apology or explanation! Furious to say the least.

These guys are terrific! Attentive, on time, flexible and AFFORDABLE! I have tried other services from Richmond Airport and they were either crappy and rude or way-​high priced. Not the gentlemen I met through Virginia Airlink. They answer calls and especially emails almost instantly and will do what it takes to make your trip smooth. Like the ad says, «Spot on. Half off.» This is the service I intend to use whenever flying to Richmond. I suggest you do, too.
