This is the place to go if you’re in the mood for some good fried food and beer! The onion rings, fried pickles, and fried macaroni balls are amazing. For entrees, I’ve had the fish tacos, chicken tenders, and the infamous Shipwreck burger. The staff is friendly and very fast. Great place for Happy Hour or dinner!

I know what you’re thinking… exactly how much can I expect from a Pirate Bar? Well, let’s start with what I expected: a very seedy sea-faring version of Hooters with greasy tables, terrible food and possibly some dried pufferfish lamps. Reality: A very clean, creatively decorated, family-friendly establishment with all sorts of clever Pirate references throughout. And the food was GOOD! My husband and I came with some friends around St. Patrick’s Day, and my husband tried a Corned Beef and cabbage reuben sandwich that looked phenomenal. I stole a few of his old Bay seasoned, thin-cut fries, and they were amazing. I ordered the seared tuna tacos, which are actually an appetizer. They were served as mini tacos in crispy shells, with a delectable sauce and seasoning. All in all, I was shocked and pleasantly surprised with how much I liked it! I hear they have trivia nights on Wednesdays, which sounds quite entertaining, I’ll have to go back and check it out!

Came during Happy Hour and had delicious drinks(watermelon cilantro mojito and rum punch) and nachos for an appetizer. We stayed for dinner and ordered the shipwreck burger(HUGE but delicious) and the blackened salmon(salmon was cooked perfectly and the green beans were seasoned perfectly). Very happy with our experience and we will definitely be returning!

My wife and I took our 9 year old daughter and my mother-in-law here for dinner last Saturday evening. We had never been before but this was exactly the atmosphere and food & drink selections we were looking for: not fancy but nice, separate dining area from the bar, kid friendly, great food(including seafood) good beer on tap and plenty of drink selections. We called ahead to see if they took reservations(they did) and to see how busy. We arrived at 6 and restaurant side wasn’t busy but within 45 minutes, many more tables filled and by 7:30, it was 80−90% full. Staff was excellent. We’ll be back!

Definitely a hidden gem of Glen Burnie. Their cocktails are awesome and every dish I have tried has been pretty good. Their Chocolate Lava Cake is… *licks lips*…freakin’ delicious! Every time I am in the area, I make sure to pay a visit to this place.

We returned for a joint birthday party. Ellen and Dave were our servers and they were attentive and just plain great. The entire group had a wonderful time. The food was tasty and freshly made. We’re already preparing to go back again.

Great place. Great ambience. Still, weird location especially for a Californian. However, I stayed for the first song and it was a homage to Prince. One last«kiss» for the prince of men. I will come back.

We were looking for somewhere new to try for wings and drinks, so we tried Mutiny last night. It was ‘wing night’ but the wings were the same price on the special menu as on the reg menu. Usually when it’s wing night you get a better deal and not just different sauces. 6 wings were small for $ 7.99, Cuban sandwich was missing meat, they give you tons of fries though. I guess that was to make up for the fact that there wasn’t much in my sandwich. My husband got the pot roast sandwich and it was tasty but not worth $ 12. Karaōke on Thursday night and that entertainment was well worth $ 50. We will probably be back, but just for drinks and karaōke.

So we’ve been here like four times. Came tonight because we couldn’t figure out where to go. I got the special. Ancho chili short rib pasta. Oh sweet fancy Moses. I have no words beyond amazing. We spent most of dinner figuring out in what other ways they could use the roasted short rib. I was full eating only half of it but I wanted to shovel all of it in my face. And because it’s Saturday, we got dessert. The mutiny banana split. All snickers bars should be wrapped in phyllo and fried and served with bananas and chocolate and ice cream. Seriously.

This is a fun and exciting scene with amazing weekly specials and perks! We have been coming here at least once a week since we discovered the place. I love the weekly tiki cocktail specials and rum flights. Their beer selection is also on point, sure to please the most discerning of customers. The food is always super fresh and you can tell that the chef is a creative culinary expert, who executes the easy-to-navigate menu with the utmost care and passion. In regards to the negative reviews that claim the place is «overhyped,» I have to give my 2 cents because there are some things you have to accept about Mutiny before you walk in: 1) It’s a bar first, restaurant second. It just so happens to offer the best«bar food» in existence. If you think you’re going to get the«Maggiano’s experience,» go to Maggiano’s. 2) They get jam packed on weekends. Expect to wait unless you go on a weekday. Don’t blame Mutiny because you had to wait an hour, they’re popular. 3) Yes, it is pirate themed, and very well executed I might add. If you’re too pretentious and uptight to jump into a laid back, fun, Piratey atmosphere, then I don’t imagine you have much fun going out… Anywhere! So save everyone the hassle and just stay home. All in all, this is my favorite local place, and definitely worth a try… Or 3.

I have enjoyed my times at Mutiny. Their drinks are good, their food taste is okay, and the atmosphere is rad. DRINKS: The drinks are pretty good, but expensive. Try to avoid going if it’s not happy hour prices($ 4 for cocktails) I love all their hot alcoholic concoctions. Their bloody Mary bar is fantastic! FOOD: The taste of the food is okay. Some things are better than others. We’ve enjoyed the mussels. The calamari is perfect. The nachos are huge! The fish and chips only has ONE piece of fish. It was good, but the portions are small of the food for how expensive it is. They’ll give you enough fries to choke yourself on though. :P THURSDAYS are karaōke. It was wayyyyy too loud to have conversation when we were there. I love karaōke at restaurants, but they needed to turn down the volume something FIERCE. My whole party had to leave early because we just couldn’t hear each other at the table. I will steer clear from there if it’s going to be that loud. SERVICE: Polite and attentive. No complaints. The wait staff is great. ATMOSPHERE: This place is so damn cute. Cliché pirate decorations really add charm.

I went here for the first time after reading many of the reviews. It’s located deep in a community and I’m sure it’s a local hangout spot. I was concerned that the place wasn’t kid friendly, so I called in advance and to my delight it was. I arrived during happy hour on a Tuesday. The place was half full and was able to get a seat for a family of three The staff was super friendly and our waitress spent the extra time going over their assortments of rum. If you enjoy rum, this is the place for you. They have an entire menu dedicated to rum cocktails and infused foods. Nothing on the menu popped out at me so I settled on the gumbo. It was okay, and perhaps I should’ve ordered something different since I’m not a huge gumbo fan. My wife enjoyed her burger and she could tell that the meat was fresh, not a frozen patty. As for drinks, I had the spiked lemonade which was pretty good so I ordered another but it was strong so i didn’t finish it. My wife had the rum punch; hers wasn’t strong enough so she ordered the spike lemonade and finished mine :) For dessert we ordered the Rumchatta Cheesecake which was tasty. This place was cool and the service was excellent. I’ll come back. The

Thanks to Baltimore Sun for finding this restaurant. It is in the inner neighborhood/residential area of Marley Avenue. The only local restaurant around but it’s not only the location that would surprise you, about but also the food. It is definitely a local favorite in Glen Burnie off the beaten path. I have mentioned that the old map of the world should be the old map of Anne Arundel County showing past Brooklyn, Curtis, Pasadena, Glen Burnie, Arnold, Annapolis then the Mutiny theme of this restaurant would be perfect.

My buddy and his wife practically live in this place, and every time I visit them, we stop by their favorite restaurant. The Rum Club is a lot of fun, they give you a passport with the 100+ kinds of rum they have and if you try every one in the passport, they throw a dinner in your honor. The staff is friendly and nice, prices are reasonable, the food is delicious.

I wanted to love this place so badly, since I love all things Pirate! However, I’ve been here twice and BOTH times were extremely disappointing – service wise! The food however, is terrific! First experience was over the summer for my 32nd birthday. I chose the restaurant based on a friend’s recommendation on the food and most importantly the Pirate-y atmosphere. I give those two things a 5 star rating. The service I would give a ZERO if I could. The server neglected our party of 8 so terribly that the manager came to apologize and gifted me a $ 25 gift card since it was also my birthday and first time there and he wanted us to return. We took him up on that offer a month ago and unfortunately our second experience was worse than our first! This is going to be long so please bare with me. It was around 7:30pm on a Friday and I called beforehand to check the wait for a party of 3(me, hubs, and son). The guy on the phone said no wait. We pull up 5 minutes later and the server at the door says there’s about a 30 minute wait. What?! So she says, I’m sorry, would you like to wait in our lounge area and order some drinks and a appetizer while you wait for a table? We say sure. Our server comes over and takes our drink/app order. A half hour goes by and we finally get the green beans and fries we ordered! Another half hour goes by and I see them sit a party of 4 down at a table I just watched them clear. I flag down our server(who knew we were waiting as well) and she apologizes. 10 minutes later another table opens up and another hostess(not our original one) comes to get us and apologizes and says NOONE told her we were waiting for a table. We finally get to order our entrees and the food takes an hour to get to us. In the meantime we’re being neglected for refills on drinks. Finally our server shows back up and I order a mojito. Which takes 45 minutes to get to me! By the time it does finally get to me, it’s not very cold and there’s condensation all over the glass because it had been up a while ago(according to ANOTHER server who finally brought it to me who then apologized to me for our main server). More time goes by and our main server comes back and says what I thought to be «would you like to order dessert? This will be complementary for your experience tonight. I’m sorry.» Well we order the lava cake. Another 20 minutes for that to come with the check which shows the lava cake on it. I ask her, «the dessert is on the bill?» She apologizes and then the manager comes to our table confused about why I am expecting a free dessert. I tell him the whole story and how I could swear she said the dessert was complementary. He says«Well, a free dessert is the least we can do for such a terrible experience.» He apologizes again and walks away. We get the new bill and yeap, he did the LEAST they could do. He comped the dessert. 3 hours of our lives. 3 hours! The longest I’ve ever spent in a restaurant is 2 hours when joining a large party. When it’s just my husband and myself and our son, a little over an hour tops. We will not be returning.

Very unique and creative brunch menu. We’ve been 3 times and selected something new each time. Have never been disappointed. Loved the breakfast nachos but huge portion. Recommend the calypso fries and the watermelon mojito. Good place for something different. The oyster selection is always fresh and tasty. The service and wait staff are pleasant and knowledgeable. Definitely come back.

We had a group of our friends meet here for dinner to celebrate my husband’s Birthday. The service was great and they were very attentive. The choices in beer were good and it would be fun to try their other mixed drinks next time. It isn’t the biggest place ever but I made a reservation and we were seated immediately. The food is very filling and tastes great. We each had one of the burgers and it was so tasty. Can’t wait to go back!

Excellent service with great food! Hidden away location near the water. Always wanted to try them after seeing a somewhat unique menu & am happy I did. Shipwreck burger was very good. Not only was our server great but multiple employees stopped by to check on us. Very impressive and props to the hiring manager who assembled such a great team! Décor was also very nice. Will definitely be back!

Bottom Line: Arrggg, my trip to Mutiny Pirate Bar & Island Grille was certainly more fun than walking the plank but I found the taste of the food to be just too ordinary for the d’bloons. I would go back again if my crew wanted to, but I wouldn’t voyage here on my own accord. I really enjoy supporting local businesess so I gathered my mates and set sail for Mutiny Pirate Bar. There are some things I really liked about«the Pirate Bar» and some things I could have done without. If you are debating navigating your way to this Point Pleasant eatery and watering hole, here are some notes to help you decide: What I liked: — The décor is fun, not overly cheesy — $ 3.75 for 20 oz. Natty Bohs is a great deal — Yo ho ho, freshly muddled cocktails and a wide selection of rum — Most of the staff was friendly — Trivia on Wednesday nights brings out a fun crowd — Patrons are friendly Where I subtracted some stars: — Food seemed pricey. — $ 6 for a side of average tasting fries — $ 6 for for six heavily battered onion rings — $ 15 for the Shellback Sandwich(a Po’ Boy) with chips. The sandwich was tasty but still not worth $ 16. — The Grilled NY Strip Steak arrived pre-sliced which I always find kinda odd. — Bartender had a lot of attitude when asked questions like, «That drink looks delicious. What’s it called.» Really, this was an opportunity to engage a customer and sell another drink. Regarding parking, I got here before 6pm and didn’t have any issues with parking but I do understand parking can be troublesome when its busy. However, it still seems like you could easily park on th street and walk over… Charm City Trivia runs trivia nights here on Tuesday. I play trivia almost weely by CCT isn’t my favorite beacuse the pace is really slow.
