Tony’s Custom Exhaust

I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a custom exhaust or a simple replacement of repair.
I was a little nervous because I often hear stories about custom shops taking advantage of the average customer, that was certainly not the case here.
While everywhere else was quoting me anywhere between $ 300-​$ 700, Tony’s only charged me $ 156 for a completely new exhaust, the best part is I didn’t have to drop off my car as it only took 45 minutes for the installment.
Customer service was top notch, they tell you straight up what’s wrong, and they are very fast!
If I could give these guys more stars I would!

The shop is a very small, kind of a hole in the wall in Glen Burnie. That being said, the work was accomplished in a timely manner, staff treated customers well and the price I paid for my exhaust work was a good value. They showed me the work on the lift and it was high quality. Go see Tonys if you need high value exhaust work.

I went in a year ago to get a a muffler turned into a bolton, a week ago I took it off and got pricked to a wire hanging out of the hanger they welded on. Also where the muffler bolts on seemed to have a lot of carbon build up, meaning when they bolted it on they didn’t use a good gasket. But they had a nice staff and quick service. The second hanger weld looks nice though.

I had my Nissan Sentra’s rear exhaust pipe and muffler connecting pipe completely disconnected making this OBNOXIOUS sound, was recommended by Johnny’s car care and was very pleased. Went in Tony’s waited an hour and was out with a sealed exhaust and very cheap too. The repair was only $ 70 bucks a fraction of what the dealer was going to charge me. Would recommend to any one looking for exhaust repairs or even professional exhaust mods.

I drove an hour for this place to get a magnaflow Exhaust and remove my resonator and it was worth it. Very friendly people and quick service. I’m sure saved me some $$ as well. Highly recommended this place!

I dropped my car off thinking the exhaust was going up due to extreme under carriage rattling. They called first thing on Monday morning to inform me it wasn’t my exhaust but the clip that held it in place had come loose. They screwed the clip back in place and changed me NOTHING! NOTHING! I am amazed to encounter such honesty and have already told my friends and family they should consider Tony’s for any exhaust work needed.

Quick and honest service! I’m pretty sure they saved me a couple hundred bucks.

I have a 56 Thunderbird with a 302 engine. As such the stock exhaust pipes do not fit and connect to this engine. I took it to Tony’s on a couple recommendation of a few friends and reviews written by others. I had bought a stainless steel exhaust kit from a T’Bird parts supplier and knew it fit except for the front pipes.
Tony was much busier than normal and called me to let me know that there could be a chance he needed it two days to complete. Tony stayed late and started work on it. Tommy finished it up the next morning and Tony called me at 10 am personally to inform me that the car was finished.
The custom front pipes fit properly, no joints leaked and all of the bracket/​hangers are first class. I knew that it would be discerning for them working with the kit as they had no personal knowledge as to its fit quality, but it worked out well for both of us.
i would recommend them for any exhaust work.

This place is the shit. $ 60 to fix my exhaust, all it needed was a patch. Quoted for $ 300 at some place in VA.

1÷12÷15 Update: So I went there to fix the issue I had. We got to the conclusion that we have to put the resonator back. You would think that it will be considered as a touch up, yet they changed me for the labor. I always think that if you are not completely satisfied with the final result you should get the fix done with no charge since you have already paid, and I called in in very next day to let them know… Still not sure if I will take a start off tho.
I called this merchant asking for aftermarket/​custom exhaust. After a short talk and couple days later I was there on the line. They operate on the first come first serve basis. The guys there know their business and you better be prepared to answer questions in order to receive best service. My mechanic was awesome, friendly and informative. I asked many questions because I wanted to learn and understand more, and he answered every single one of them with patiance. The owner and his son assisted, too.
I got a middle pipe, two flowmasters series 40 and tips. Excellent job and very precise!!! The exact sound I was looking for. However, once I got on the highway cruising at 60 in cabin noise was very loud and got a lot of vibration. Did not expect that much noise, I thought it would be more outside than inside. Anyway, the next day I called in and explained what is the result. Tony told me to go back for further assistance. Once I get my car back from the body shop will go there next week.
Pricing is affordable. Mechanics work with a nice pace. I personally do not want the work on my car to be rushed up and sloppy. So, every minute spent there is worth waiting. I will consider taking my girlfriend’s car for exhaust repair even if I have to drive 40min one way.
Will provide pictures and update my comment once I fix the little issue that occurred. I am not taking a star or complaining because I don’t think it is necessary. I do understand that sometimes the final outcome differs from vehicle to vehicle and as long they are willing to work with me on it I am happy.

I’m writing this review 800+ miles after the install.
After reading the other reviews I stopped past Tony’s to add a flowmaster dual exhaust to my 14′ Jeep Wrangler. They recommend against the flowmaster and directed me to the Magnaflow. I’m happy with the install. I didn’t like the sound of the first install so they went back and removed the resonator. That gave it the deeper growl I was looking for. Everything was welded on nicely and I was out the door in less than an hour.
I deducted 1 star because the manager or whoever was in charge that day was a bit of an ass. He had an attitude when I didn’t like the sound of the magnaflow and asked to have the flowmaster, which I originally came in for, instead. He agreed to «eat the cost after all that work» (his words) and have the technician swap them out but he was nasty about it. The technicians were great. They had asked me if they could try one more thing before pulling off the magnaflow (removing the resonator) and it came out great. The technicians knew what I wanted and delivered.
I don’t know if the manager was having a bad afternoon or was just a pissy kind of guy, but overall I would recommend Tony’s for your exhaust needs.

I thought this place was going to be a rinky dink «get over on you shop», boy was I wrong. Tony was super accommodating, and understanding when I brought my mk6 gti there to get a custom magnaflow exhaust. He got me right and didn’t have me wait super long! This place was was pretty cool I’ll definitely be returning with my other vehicle.

Great place, I’ve taken 6 cars here before, whenever I need any exhaust work done I come here. They are the cheapest but also the best. They do great work and always leave your car clean. I even took my car in for an exhaust issue before i wasn’t sure about and they looked at it for me for free and said I should leave it for now. Most places would try to take your money no matter what. I recommend this place to all my friends and am a customer for life. They are good honest people.

Was contemplating whether to get a custom exhaust for my 1963 Thunderbird and talked to the guys at Tony’s. I got immediate and accurate quotes for single, dual, and alternative exhaust options! I dropped off my car on a wednesday afternoon and had it back the next day below the price they estimated me at! I could not be happier.

I looked all over for reviews and every site I went to had around all positive feedback, and now I can see why. Came in around 10 for a dual exhaust, only had to wait around 10 minutes before my car was put on the lift. Whole installation only took around an hour, everything looks and sounds great. They have a pretty wide range of magnaflows and flowmasters. I even got to watch as they did the installation, from afar but still amusing. The welds are nice and tight, no gaps or leaks, and the bends are mandrel and not crushed. All in all I would recommend this shop to anyone in need of exhaust repair or installation.

Best place around. I have a 2007 ford f-​150 super cab with a 4.6 liter v8, I’ve been debating a custom exhaust for over. Year now, and finally went and had it done. They did everything in an hour and a half. And for a killer price. Very good work. Very thorough. You can tell they care about their work. You won’t be disappointed. Great work for a great price.

Came in during lunch to have an xpipe installed on my car. Tony quoted me a reasonable price for the job. I was out in an hour and happy with the quality of work. I will be coming back for new muffler’s too!

This is a great exhaust shop, very honest and straight forward. No appointments it’s first come first serve. I just had a few questions as well as did Tony, he answered everything and said I will handle it. All I got was a Magnaflow muffler installed on my truck, told him what I was looking for in terms of drone and how aggressive I wanted it to sound. He took care of everything, the new muffler sounded great and was installed perfectly. The welds they made were perfect and clean. I recommend everyone come to Tony’s for any kind of exhaust work. Great place and great employees. Very honest, it’s really hard to find places like this now a days.

I was looking to install dual exhaust on my ’72 Ford. Tony had great reviews online, and seemed to know his stuff. His price was half what other shops in the area were, and he did a fantastic job in ONE work day. Now he’s blunt, fast and to the point. Know what you want, he’ll ask a couple questions, then you just leave, no paperwork or anything. But he had letters of thanks posted in his very spartan shop, and those reviews were right. Pipes fit great, no leaks, he’s reasonable and it’s tucked up nice and tight. Sounds great!
