I personally like this place, foods are fresh and delicious. I usually make a phone order and come to pick up. Sometime, we stay during family dinner. Service is above average comparing others Chinese take out restaurant. The most important thing is that food are tasted so good! Meal is not expensive, comparing in this community. 1 star price 2 star food quality 3 star delicious 4 star service 5 star I love it

I’ve never actually stepped inside this place, but my boyfriend and I deliver from here all the time. Found it to be the best chinese delivery in the area. They are always under the expected delivery time and one time they messed up on the order and they gave us a credit on our account for the next time we ordered.

Yeah no, I would not order from here. Surely they don’t expect me to pay tip when the order takes over an hour to deliver terrible sweet and sour chicken, especially when I live literally less than 20 minute walk away. In hindsight, I should have walked. Either way, I was incapacitated by the food anyways afterwords. Either the chicken was left out too long, or something else, man I don’t know what to say. Jeeeeeeeeeeesusss spare me from the pain :’).

After this evening’s order, I decided for certain that THISPLACEBLOWWWWWWSASSSSSS. Also, the delivery guy asked me for a tip. I almost ordered again just so he would have to come back to my house and I could shove him off my stoop and fart in his eyes. Never again with this damn place. NEVER. So help me God.

DONOTORDERFROMTHISRESTAURANT! We work at a school down the block and after placing an order at 11:00 am, the order still had not arrived by 12:30. When we called the woman stated that she had not seen the order until that point. She did not seem apologetic and did not seem to care that our lunch period was about to end. We will not order from this establishment anymore. They do not care about their customers and cannot fulfill an order.

The food is not always good and they fill the plate with vegetables more than the meats

After being a long time customer I will never come back here again. I arrive to pick up my food and ask for hot oil and they tell me 15 cents extra. I ask y and they say it’s home made. I obviously don’t buy it. I get home only to find that my double sautéed pork has the least amount of pork as possible. I will never return

I used to order from them when they were the old owners who have very nice unfortunately with the new owners they are very rude and gross. Trust me when I say I see what goes on behind the scenes and their infested with bugs. I feel terrible for all you people that live in Glen cove you have like two Chinese restaurants to go to.

Sorry… nice people, but the C27 Bourbon Chicken was unfit for human consumption. Couldn’t finish; couldn’t cover up my displeasure with a ‘take away.’

Will miss the food but the place has bugs, one crawled right on our table and we weren’t near the kitchen! They really need to exterminate!

Great Chinese restaurant in a busy residential shopping center on a busy street in a busy town. Great lunch menu. Prices are very reasonable. Service is attentive. Very busy place for takeout orders, but the restaurant itself isn’t usually that crowded. Love the chicken with broccoli. I also love the wonton soup, scallion pancakes, and the bourbon chicken, which you wouldn’t normally find anywhere else. Elegant décor, very clean and modern. Very romantic place for sure.

Nice people, and standard American Chinese. Fried rice is great but scallion pancakes are awful. For the price our go to Chinese takeout.

If you like flavorful dumplings with a nice, thin wrapping, don’t go here. The filling had no flavor and the casing was so thick, it was like eating a white bread hero with a tiny, cafeteria-quality meatball in the middle. They were also successful in creating a bland dipping sauce to go with it. The entrees weren’t much better. Save your money. Eat in.

God I miss this place. Ya know how there’s this rumor that in predominately jewish areas, you have really good chinese food? I suppose thats true — I live in Long Beach and we have a LARGE jewish population — from the dudes with the hats and strings, to non practicing. I can easily find Chinese Food on Christmas day… but not like China Palace. I LOVETHISPLACE and I miss it and I wish they delivered to Long Beach. Would my food be cold? Sure. Would it be good? Hell yes, I even eat this cold when I don’t have to! I love that I’ve been coming here since I was knee high to a grasshopper… and the décor(and employees) have not changed. These kids have set the bar high when it comes to chinese take out. Sure, there’s a debate if Uncle Daïs is better. I’ll clear it up for you: its not. Their shrimp toast is great(everywhere else I’ve eaten it, its a greasy, nasty mess), the chicken fried rice is off the hook, and if you get steamed dumplings, they make em right AND their sauce is banging. Hint: eat the dumplings, pour your chicken fried rice into the tin with the dumpling sauce, enjoy. Their spare ribs are meaty and delicious. The one shining star to what felt like my never ending displacement after that bitch Sandy wiped out my town was China Palace. Worth it.

Being that there aren’t many good Chinese takeout restaurants in the DC area, as soon as I got off the bus from DC to NY for Thanksgiving, the only thing I was craving was China Palace chinese food. There is something special about this place if you want quick, easy, cheap takeout. You can’t beat the prices, you can’t beat the taste — especially of the chicken wings which have a nice asian style flavoring on them that’s not overwhelming — and you can’t beat the speedy service. I’ve been going here for years and honestly, I only found 1 takeout place in the DC area that came close to tasting like NY takeout chinese. Unfortunately that place closed. Now DC is littered with a lot of okay chinese takeout place that are all over priced and have bland tasting food. You can’t go wrong with the lo main, sesame chicken, and fried chicken wings for an appetizer. Definitely as good as it gets in Glen Cove… and DC!
