Christine cut and dyed my hair. A pretty Korean girl who used to cut in K-town manhattan supposedly? Anyways she was very sweet, funny and dedicated to her job. Will definitely be back again. Please ignore the other reviews – even though I only had her, this was enough for me to give a really good rating! Will be back again~~Thanks Christine! Ask for her!

This is by far one of the worst nail salons I’ve been to! The Glen Cove Patch readers voted it best nail salon in Glen Cove so I figured I’d try it. First, the woman cut my nails down to nothing and then did a UV gel fill in, which I have been getting faithfully every 2 – 3 weeks for many years(not there). I told her that the nails were to thin and she told me they weren’t. I walked out of there $ 55.00 poorer and pissed. Here it is 1and ½ weeks later and they are peeling off and breaking. I also brought my mother there the same day for a haircut and they did an amateur job on her as well. Whatever you do, DON’T GOHERE!!!

I came to Floris for a Keratine Treatment .my hair was very damaged from the Chemical process before. I was nervous. Because there were no good review on the Unilocal.that’s wrong to me .i got a new hair after get it done. .so amazing!!! The chemicals she use do sting a little. my eyes, nose and throat were definitely irritated. I’m really not sure how healthy the treatment is .it took about 1.5 hours to do the entire process(.shampoo, apply treatment, wait time, blow dry, and flat iron). i leave the place with ridiculously flat hair since i can’t wash it out for three days, after washing it(with keratine shampoo and conditioner) my hair feels awesome!!! it less frizzy and def straighter than before. I’m very enjoying it. The place was little space and just one a hair stylist .she’s name is Christine. she’s Korean but speak English well, so the language barrier was not a problem at all .i def will come back!!!

I’ve been here a few times. The place is clean and well-maintained, but I’m never very happy with my overall experience. Prices are a little high –$ 25 for a regular pedicure with very few bells and no whistles and $ 10 for a brow wax while sitting in a chair. There’s a $ 20 minimum for credit card charges, which I think is illegal. They have an ATM machine with a high fee located right in the salon that I was encouraged to use. Instead, I opted to drive over to chase and come back with the money which was OK by them. I’m looking for another salon for my next wax and pedi.
