Jonathan & Son Auto Repair & Towing

As I’m writing this review I’m sitting about 30 yards away from Jonathan and Son. My husband and I turned on to Sea Cliff Avenue and realized we had a flat tire. We pulled over and began to change the tire ourselves. My husband couldn’t get the tire off (he’s changed dozens of tires and has never had an issue) so I walked over to Jonathan and son to see if someone would be able to assist with a tire change. As I approached the front door there was a man on the phone fixing a light on a truck and cursing to whoever he was on the phone with. He was wearing sweatpants and I wasn’t entirely sure that this man worked here so I walked past him to head into the office. There was no one in the office so I walked back out to ask if he worked there. He looked really annoyed as he put down the phone to end his conversation. I told him the situation and asked if he might be able to help assist my husband and I. I wasn’t asking for charity, we fully intended to pay for his services. He said that he couldn’t help me because there was no one to watch the store. I explained to him that we were merely across the street and that my husband was within sight. He said he didn’t know what to tell me that there was nothing he could do and walked back to the office. I was absolutely shocked by his response his complete lack of professionalism. An hour later, my husband and I are still sitting on the corner waiting for Geico roadside assistance. Thanks for your help, Jonathan and Son.
