A Certified Laser Specialist, Dr. Modesto-​Garrido incorporates the latest laser dentistry technology and most advanced pain-​free dental techniques into her practice. I have to agree with these other reviews. They express the same concerns that I had when I went here. I even recommended a coworkers wife to go here and she got the exact same vibe. Terrible shame too because the facility is beautiful.

It’s a total scam. Please avoid this place. Will elaborate at a later date but just take the other 1-​star reviewers word for it. They try to overcharge you for a bunch of things you don’t need because they apparently need to make up for it from overspending on their office.

We switched here when our insurance changed. At first it seems great — the office is very clean and the technology they use is advanced. I personally liked that they have tvs over the chairs so you can watch cable while they work on your teeth. I had never had a cavity in my life and go for a checkup every 6 months but somehow Dr. Garrido found 28 cavities that appeared in a 6 month period! One was apparently so bad that she threatened to pull the tooth out! (I had that cavity filled by a different dentist and 4 years later it is still fine but the experience has scarred me for going to the dentist).
This place is a complete scam. They charge you an initial estimate, then bill insurance, and promise to credit you the difference if you are over-​billed. We checked with insurance and found they had over charged us on every single cleaning and procedure for my family. We asked to see their billing records which took 3 months to get and were so incomplete we were unable to fight them for the money back. My new dentist found that the metal she put around an implant caused a terrible abscess — 2 pulled teeth today and surgery in 3 weeks to correct this! Save yourself money and aggravation and DO NOT GO HERE.

i had the same experience as most of the other reviewers. i left that place with a very uncomfortable feeling, this place does scream scam. i also went in with a $ 49 new patient offer that includes a professional cleaning, xrays, exam, and consultation. i was told right off the bat that they wouldnt have time to do a cleaning (because they dont make money off of doing a cleaning) and then was told i have cavities in 8 of my teeth. i have had two cavities my entire life and went to the dentist about a year and a half before the visit and was fine, so somehow in one year i managed to acquire 8 cavities?! and then i was told to schedule a consultation with this mysterious sally person so we could discuss my payment options for these 8 cavities. the whole experience was just kinda creepy and unlike any dentist i have ever been to. i feel sorry for people who are stupid enough to believe that they actually need to have all that work done to their teeth, and there must be a good amount of those people since the doctor is able to afford all that fancy equipment that they like to show off in their office tour. needless to say, i did not return and will never attempt to use a coupon for a doctor/​dentist again snd strongly suggest to anyone who reads this that you FIND ANOTHER DENTIST.

I have never been more comfortable in a medical/​dentist office than I am here. Every single person at Excel Dentistry is friendly and polite. I hadn’t been to the dentist in years due to (much less than wonderful) previous experiences. Lucia, who did my cleaning, was professional and pleasant. The cleaning was thorough and there was no discomfort. Dr. Foring is a wonderful dentist; he took his time with me, was very gentle when examining my teeth, and made me feel at ease immediately. It is obvious that he cares about his patients. Sally is an asset to the ED staff; she went out of her way to make sure I understood all of the payment options available to me and made it clear that she was there to help. She extremely very patient and answered every single question I had.
I will definitely be recommending Dr. Foring and Excel Dentistry.

Going to this dentist is like going to a used car lot, they’re always trying to sell you on something. Furthermore, I am convinced my teeth are in worst condition after their root canals and treatments — I seriously have more issues than what I started with. I think I would rather get drunk and pull my own teeth out with pliers than ever go back here — no joke.

I went here with a Groupon deal for an exam, cleaning, and set of xrays. The cleaning was the fastest and least comprehensive I have ever received. Seriously, I think I brush my teeth for a longer time than the hygienist did.
Then the doctor came in, looked at the xrays, poked at me for a minute or two – tops – and proceeded to tell me about how I have no cavities, but I have tiny proto-​cavities that need to be taken care of. Ummm, no. People always have proto-​cavities, called «soft spots», they go away with proper dental care. And, I don’t have $ 4000 worth of them. I had my teeth looked at 6 months prior, and this didn’t come up.
He also tried to sell me on having my gums rebuilt, and some cosmetic work as well. No thanks, I need a dentist, not a used car salesman.
