Established in 1999.

Brad Ashman was born in Chicago, Illinois, raised in the Chicago Land area, and graduated from Deerfield High School in 1979. While attending the University of Illinois, he undertook his first remodeling job, falling in love with the process. This small project ignited a passion for construction and Brad has worked in this field ever since. After graduating with a degree in business, Brad went to work for a large construction firm. He rose quickly through the ranks and within two years became a partner, handling sales in addition to overseeing project management. In 1999 Brad started his own firm, Chicago Renovation & Development, and his passion took on a whole new meaning when CRD began earning and keeping loyal clients of its own. Brad’s «tell it how it is» mentality coupled with his equally passionate (not to mention dedicated) crew has helped countless individuals and families realize their dream of «making space worth living».
