I got my windows tinted in about 7 months ago on BMW coupe. I got 35% tint on all the windows for $ 99. My brother had a freind who had his car done there and was happy with the results. At half the cost of other tint places, I gave it a shot. Another plus for them working evenings and weekends since I didn’t want to take time off of work to get it done. The first job was just okay. I went back about 3 days later and had them re-​do 2 side windows because of multiple scratches in the tint and air bubbles. They re-​did those windows the next day but the installer was bitching because he had worked a long day and the manager had scheduled me unbeknowst to this guy. He did it anyway in a quick fashion. The next day I noticed I had more air bubbles in the passenger door again. They accidentally left their cordless phone in my front seat so I headed back the next day and had them heat up the film and get the air bubbles out. Today, 3 out of the 2 small rear windows and back window are still in good shape but I have gotten quite a few scratches on the front windows so I will likely head back in the spring and have those redone as well. Overall, not worth the hastle to save $ 100.
I would recommend going with Umbra Window Tinting in Schaumburg to get a higher quality film and professional job.

CUSTOMER SERVICE
Horrible. I got a call to come in an hour earlier than my scheduled appointment, because someone else cancelled. Got there as promised, and three (Manny, David, Isabella — Receptionist) stood there looking at me like they didnt know what to make of someone in a car that was not a decade old.
After a couple minutes of me sitting there looking at Moe Larry and Shirley, I made a move… and hand signaled to ask ‘HELLO — should I pull in?’ one of them FINALLY walked over told me to pull over to the cement island in front and they would pull it (into one of the 2 tight garage bays).
After doing so, I got out and stood there waiting for some info, while these random latinas in tube tops wandered through, with rugrats that ran between the cars and around, out the back door of the garage.
I think they were having a BBQ.
BUSINESS
So… no shopping close by, unless you count Jiffy Lube, so I sat there and watched a parade of thuggy characters come through, paying cash and picking up these old SUVs with low grade film in illegal limo (5%) tint.
During the THREE HOUR install, this little ‘Manny’ character kept taking phone calls… everytime I looked in — wondering why it was taking SO freaking long… so towards the end… I would look at my watch — and he would tell me he was done, until I started pointing out bubbles and how the windows were not clean. THEN he would say he still needed to finish up… WTF?
Supposedly this was the message left by (one of how many?) the owner ‘Carlos’… who was called in earlier and working on it… cuz Manny (such the expert of 2 years) could not do it… and Carlos (veteran of 10 years+), was heating the WHOLE back window. Manny explained that it was the length of the tint… not being heatable to stretch out.
Hmm. According to directions and many UTube videos… to form and shape the rear window tint… is supposed to be WET, and anchored in the main areas. smoothed down with a card until there are only vertical ‘fingers’ left… and then ONLY then, is the heat gun supposed to come out to push those down and out… he was heating the WHOLE thing, no water… and pulling at it. WTH?
Coinky… saw this non-​latino guy stop by and get a refund from David… because he had issues with his tint job — horrible bubbles and 3 tries at fixes failed… SURPRISE, his job was done by MY guy ‘Manny.‘
I am not sure where these people (except for the big bald guy David — he was okay) get their gall. I didnt even care that I saw that guy making out with one of aforementioned latinas every time I peeked in to see what the hec was taking so long with my car.
The receptionist Isabella was weirdly belligerent and so ridiculous with her haterade attitude from the beginning.
It is pretty obvious they dont deal with professional people… or people with credit cards… since they chargeback CC fees (3%)… which I planned to do regardless — since that offers some consumer protection.
FINALE
Manny could not get the bubbles and creases out. CREASE = SLOPPY btw, as that means you didnt push the bubbles down and out, but toward each other and heated it. What a TOOL.
This place may be cheap, but you get what you pay for… they messed up the professional tint film I brought in (cost more than their labor estimate) and wanted me to pay for the overly delayed job as well as replacement tint THEY would order.
If you have a decent car, PAY the extra $ to get a decent job done. Its not worth this hassle… Seriously. Your car will thank you for it. OMG can you say GHETTO???
