Esha Patel – State Farm Insurance Agent

My boyfriend got State Farm less than a year ago and I feel like we’ve had nothing but issues. When he switched over his insurance he explained to the agent that he had a SR22. The same month that he switched over he ended up getting pulled over when we were on the way going to Mall of America. The officer explained to us that his license was suspended only to find out the agent never sent over the SR22 to the state-​which caused his license to be suspended. We called Esha a few times– was never at her desk so we had another agent help us fax over the information to the state. We had to file not guilty for the ticket but it literally took a few months to clear. I felt like this was unnecessary work that we had to do, because the agent failed to fax over my boyfriends SR22.
This month February, we got a letter in the mail stating that there would be autopay being automatically deducted from our account, but the following week later we received another letter stating that we had to pay a month in advance because we were no longer on autopay. We never called and removed the autopay feature.
On top of that, we received his insurance card today, February 17, 2015 when the effective date of the insurance card was February 9, 2015. I’m not sure whose responsibility it is to send out the insurance card, but if it is the agent– I wouldn’t not recommend this agent. If it’s not these are some of the issues we’ve encountered in less than 1 year of switching over.
