Business Owner

I have studied Economics and Sociology at Northeastern University in Boston Massachusetts. Received my MA in 1985 and moved to New Jersey for two years where I worked at United Jersey Bank. I moved to California in 1987 and worked at Security Pacific National Bank for a few years and joined Alco in 1994 and became a partner in 1998.

Since 1987 I have been calling Glendale my home and love the city and the people. I love how the city is growing and thrive to grow my business and family in this amazing city.

I called in early in the morning to get invites printed for my son’s birthday. I spoke to Helen who was super nice and helpful. I got the best price around and was able to pick up the invites same day. The invitations looked really beautiful. I’m soo happy with their work– already planning on using their services again. I began using Alco Printing about a year ago and I will never go anywhere else. Everyone there is so sweet and very efficient. My brother and I got married a month apart and we both used them to order Save-​the-​date cards, bridal shower invitations and our wedding invitations.
Helen is the one that handles the orders and is so easy to work with. She went above and beyond to show us selections and help us all find what is perfect for us. She communicates through every form and makes sure we received our orders as it should be and on time. Mr. Aram took care of the whole production and I can say every single card and order was perfect, packaged and on time. I even had miss counted on some orders and needed more ASAP. Aram made it happen! Thanks =)

I can’t speak highly enough about these guys. It seems like a relatively small business — always the same friendly faces in the store. They respond quickly to email and phonecalls, and they’re accommodating, understanding and efficient even when you have a small job that needs to be done quickly. I’m a hobbyist filmmaker and I often need promotional materials, so this type of sensibility at a print-​house is very valuable to me. On top of all that, the quality is always excellent. These guys are my go-​to.

I wasn’t happy with their customer service. They are rude and impatient especially over the phone. The person ‘helping’ hung up the phone when I wasn’t finished asking questions. You should definitely go somewhere else.

I was amazed at the speed, quality, and customer service. I used to work in a print shop so I know the business. These guys did my work so fast I couldn’t believe it. It looked great and they were patient with me in answering my various questions. They even had the designer go over the file with me to give me pointers. Then they delivered the job to me as soon as it was done. I’m stunned and would definitely use them again.
