Normal and high risk pregnancies including multiple gestations, diabetes, and hypertensive diseases. Working closely with onsite perinatal, genetic, and neonatal specialists.

Gynecologic services include treatment for pelvic pain, infertility, abnormal pap smears, abnormal uterine bleeding, hysterectomies, and laparoscopic surgeries.

We provide inpatient and outpatient gynecologic surgeries, including advanced hysteroscopy for ablation and minimally invasive surgery including laprascopic hysterectomies. We also provide in office sterilization and endometrial ablation procedures which can be performed comfortably under sedation with almost no recovery period

History

Established in 1989.

Arrowhead OB GYN was started in February 1989 and has consistently delivered great care (and great babies!) ever since. Our doctors deliver happy and healthy babies, as well as perform complex and routine gynecologic procedures.

At Arrowhead OBGYN we offer complete obstetrical and gynecologic care serving the West Valley including prenatal care, delivery, postpartum care, abnormal pap smear management, in office colposcopies, endometrial biopsies, LEEP procedure, well woman exams, 3D/​4D Ultrasound, infertility workup, contraceptive management, menopausal management and STD detection and management. We also offer in office procedures including tubal sterilization and endometrial ablations. Arrowhead OBGYN delivers more than healthy babies. We provide service on a more personal level. Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Dr. Bradley Folkestad did his undergraduate work at California Lutheran University and then graduated from University of Arizona College of Medicine. He did his residency at Good Samaritan Medical Center where he served as Section and District Chairman for the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He has been in practice in the Northwest Phoenix area for 20 years delivering over 14,000 babies. He has received the Patient’s Choice Award for the past four years and has been Board Certified by ACOG since 1995. When not at work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children.

Dr. Melissa Gioia Austin is an Arizona native and graduate of University of Arizona medical school who completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center, a top ranked hospital in the U.S. News and World Report for Gynecology. Dr. Austin also enjoys spending time with her husband Alex, her two labs (DJ & Henry) and Crossfit.
