Dr. Scott Beeve performed my lasik eye surgery and I couldn’t be happier. I was scheduled for the surgery a little over month from my first initial call. So, I found it helpful that there was room in availability. Dr. Beeve talked me through every step during the procedure. Dr. Beeve and his staff were extremely pleasant. Therefore, I must say that my surgery was worth every penny.

I had the best experience when I did LASIK surgery here. First of all, the staff is awesome and super organized. They scheduled all of my appointments and follow ups before my procedure and they email and text you to confirm your appointment. During my procedure, Dr. Beeve talked me through every single step and told me what I would see and feel. He made me feel super comfortable and safe. I 100% recommend this vision care center especially for LASIK.

I have been a patient here since «Old Dr. Beeve» was taking on new patients. Remarkable service. You are called in to see the doctor almost as soon as you enter the office.
I totally LOVE the opticians, especially Jessica. I’m always greeted with a smile and «Hi! What can I do for you today?» She is always helpful in trying out new frames, and I trust her taste explicitly! Jessica remembers the names of all our family members, even though we have a different surnames. We are informed as soon as they (glasses /​contacts) arrive in the office.

I’ve been a patient at Beeve Vision Care for over 13 years. Dr. Beeve and his staff are efficient in what they do. Dr. Beeve did my cataract surgery about five years ago, and I’ve been very happy with the outcome! My husband also had Lasik surgery about six years ago, and he too was very pleased with the outcome.

Dr. Beeve and his staff are great! I went here for Lasik about 6 months ago. I always wanted to have it done, but I can’t stand the thought of anything touching my eye (I could never ever wear contacts lol). The first visit was just to talk about the procedure and if it would be the best choice for me. I mentioned that I was worried I would freak out during the procedure, but Dr. Beeve explained that they give you medication to keep you calm. I opted for the ilasik which was pretty expensive but well worth it. Right after the procedure, I was not in any pain, just a little sensitive to light. However, they give you sunglasses to wear on the way home. When I got home I knocked out, but once I woke up that night I could already see clearly. I did have the «halos» that people talk about at night. However, after about a month. or maybe 6 weeks, they were completely gone. I would say the Halos are pretty bad for the first few days… and after about a week I hardly noticed them. I just went back for my 6 month check up today and my vision is still great.

I thought Los Angeles air quality had reached an all time bad. Everything seemed yellow and dull. When I complained, my optometrist st COSTCO told me I had cataracts in both eyes.
My father had amazing luck with his cataract surgery with Dr. Beeve. So I scheduled an exam with Dr. Beeve.
The office is beautiful and very patient friendly.
I had my exam and was scheduled for surgery at the surgery center across the hall. Surgery was a breeze. The doctor did one eye at a time with a couple of weeks in between surgeries.
I was shocked at how clear my vision was and how bright colors became. This surgery cleared up the dull yellow haze I experienced. Amazing. I was able to see clearly just hours after surgery. And the second eye went well too. It’s been over a year and I am so happy. I have friends who have had the cataract surgery with complications, but not from Dr Beeve. Both my father and I enjoy ²⁰⁄₂₀ clear vision after our surgery with Dr. Beeve. I would recommend him.

Story time, I was on my way home from work when I felt the most unpleasant sensation I have ever felt in my left eye. It was tantamount to a sharp rock rubbing against my eye every time I blinked. No matter how much I flushed my eye with water the feeling persisted. I was beginning to feel pretty desperate as it was around 5 o clock and all the Opthamologists in my area were closed. Beeve Vision Care Center answered the phone, the staff were very sympathetic to my plight, they told me to come in right away. Dr. Dan sorted me out in an expeditious manner, and the staff there were nothing but friendly. ⁵⁄₅ Beeve Center did me a solid, I highly recommend this place.

I went in for a LASIK procedure and was fully satisfied. I had 3 appointments for counseling, imaging, and procedure. In all of the appointments, the staff was very nice and knowledgeable, and the wait times were short at about 5 minutes. The procedure itself was painless and smooth with no issues.

So disappointed. I went for my eye exam and things were OK. I complained that my vision is not really very good and was told it’s as good as it’s going to get. I wear contact lenses but was also going to get new glasses. I have a friend that is an Optician so I got my perscrition for the glasses and took it to him. There was one piece of information not included on the perscription and so my friend called the office. They said they would give him the information for a $ 25.00 charge. NO WAY. First of all I should have been given a complete perscription. I’ve been going to these Dr. s for several years but I will not be going back. It’s a lovely office but that is not what I want to pay $ 224.00 for. My perscription did not change from last year, I did not get new lenses, did not order glasses just spent 20 minutes being told «it is what it is».

Dr. Beeve is amazing! After researching different Lasik centers, I decided to have the procedure with my trusted doctor I have had for years. Dr. Beeve was very thorough in explaining the risks and benefits and made me feel confident about proceeding with the procedure. I had absolutely no discomfort after the procedure. My vision was –5.75 before the procedure and I was ready to throw away my contacts! I couldn’t believe how well I could see the next day after the procedure! It has been a year since my surgery and I am still amazed how well my vision is (²⁰⁄₂₀)! There is a level of comfort with Dr. Beeve knowing that he has the knowledge and years of experience to take care of the «eyes» of my entire family! By the way, the office staff are very nice and helpful as well.

Did both my eyes for pinguecula removal by Dr. Scott Beeve. He is an amazing doctor and very caring. I love the results. My eyes look better and I feel better. Thank you Dr. Beeve.

It’s truly amazing. I had Lasik just over a year ago. I was nearly blind up close. Carried reading glasses everywhere and couldn’t see a thing without them. Far away vision was decent but deteriorating. I’m 53 and had great eyesight my whole life until about 40, when the close up vision started to go and steadily deteriorated over the next 10 years. Far away vision started to get worse just a few years ago. I had what’s called mono-​vision Lasik. This is where they correct one eye for close and one for far. The brain figures out the rest. Right away I could see. It took a bout a month or so for the «merging» to really be complete. But after a month it was perfect. Went back today for the one year check iin and my eyesight is perfect. It’s totally awesome and Dr Beeve is great. If you are hesitating, don’t. It works.

I’m not sure which one to write on and don’t know why they have 2 accounts on Unilocal,but I’m commenting on a visit from a couple years ago (2 I think).
I saw them on Best of LA (the weekend show on channel 9, I think) and never having been to a vision care facility, I decided to go to them. I was having this bizarre pain in the back of my right eye and it only occurs during the middle of the day around summer time. So I go to the office. The staff was nice enough. Dr. Scott Beeve did some test and suggested it might be a slight astigmatism and that I get some prescription glasses. Being unaware and naïve of the process, I take his «expertise,» he had me go into their optometrist office and the optometrist ordered a pair of glasses with a low cylinder.
I talked to some people afterwards and decided to get a second opinion. I went to the USC Doheny Eye Institute and they ran about a dozen test, which was about 11 more test than Dr. Beeve performed and they had no idea what was wrong with my eye, but pretty much narrowed it down to allergies.
So I go back to the office and luckily Dr. Scott Beeve wasn’t there because I don’t know how I would have reacted. I truly felt like he lied to my face and tried to rip me off. I explained to the optometrist about my second opinion and she understood and seemed a little peeved at the «Dr.» She gave me a refund and apologized.
That’s my story. Hope no one else had this issue.

My wife and I had Lasik about 9 years ago… and to this day, it is the best money we’ve ever spent. You could not ask for a better doctor. These are your eyes! We would never go to anyone else because they offered a «sale». The process was quick, painless, and guess what? I am still glasses FREE! A huge thank you to the Beeve Vision Center.

I went to Dr. Beeve for laser eye surgery in February of this 2013. Everything went perfectly. He and his staff were great, they talked me through every step. All of my questions were answered prior to surgery, both in person and by phone. No regrets!
