Bought my bikes about 6 years ago. Took them in for the free checkup and they did a great job and fast. I would definitely recommend.

About one month ago I called this shop to get prices on brake adjustments on two mountain bikes. My wife has a specialized Enduro and I have a specialized stump jumper. Both bikes have professional disc brakes. My wife’s bike front brake would barely work and The brakes on the rear wheel stumpjumper out what to get stuck and not release the pressure on the disc brakes. I was quoted $ 12 per wheel for adjustments. When I took the bikes in for service I was told I needed major cleanup and service and it would cost anywhere from $ 70-$ 85 each bike. I wasn’t happy with the price but I was already there so pretty much I didn’t have a choice. A few days later they called me that my bikes are ready. I was charge just under $ 150. When I got home both my brakes on the stumpumper would get stuck front and back. I took the bike back to the shop and they told me that I left my bike in the heat too much and that is the reason they are getting stuck. I stored the bike inside my garage and I took it back in inside my SUV. They agreed to do an additional tuneup at no extra charge. The service person called me and told me that they accidentally put some lubricant on my brake pads and they replace it for free at no extra charge. A few weeks later I am was trying to use my bike for the first time just right in my neighborhood along the sidewalk. First time I used the brakes got stuck again. I ended up pushing my bike back home, it was that bad. I am up camping in the woods right now, it is Labor Day weekend and I wish I had my mountain bike here to enjoy the cool weather. I will take my bike back to the shop the third time, as soon as I get back in town. I don’t think they did anything wrong they just couldn’t find the problem with my bike. I hope they can find the problem this time or I will take it somewhere else. I will update my review and let you know If they did a good job or not.

I love this little bike shop! super friendly/helpful people! just bought my second bike from them last week, but realized it was not the perfect style for me — so they let me exchange it for a different one this morning. No problem. I will always recommend this place!

Great service and very friendly! Stopped in to have my stroller tire looked at because I couldn’t hold the gage to fill it with air. They filled all tires on my stroller without asking and gave me a few pointers and said to come back if it doesn’t hold air, even though they didn’t hear a leak, and they would replace the inner tube.

A month ago, I bought a $ 2,500 Giant Trance 27.5 from Bicycle Depot. They offer life-time free«adjustments» — which translates to semi tune-ups. I thought about buying at REI or Performance Bike — both of whom have liberal return policies — but the good vibes and free adjustments swung me over to Bicycle Depot. The consensus of staff was that I needed a large size Giant Trance — which is what I bought. After a month of riding, however, it was clear to me that the frame was too big for me. I returned to the store today and explained my predicament. With total friendliness and zero hassle, they quickly agreed to swap out the large bike for a medium bike. It’s no wonder these guys have so many ultra-positive reviews. They are old-school, top service, golden rule folks. I will bring all my business and friends’ business to them.

I walked in and the owner cut two bike stands and installed them on a kids bike, put pedals on a kids bike and did a few needed maintenance adjustments. Most places don’t have anything for kids bikes but I even bought the rubber handle bar covers for the ends. My dog chews everything up.

These guys know their stuff and worked with me and my ignorance, being incredibly helpful in explaining everything to me. I ended up just upgrading my current bike, but will be back in the next year to purchase from them. At all times they were professional and prompt, and I didn’t feel pressured to purchase. Their inventory is small(they do have another location from which they can transfer inventory), but you can rest assured that there is not one junker bike in the entire lot. Pride in their trade and a local business puts these guys at the top of the list for me.

Cool place– much smaller than I expected. Prices were reasonable and the guys knew their stuff. Luke helped me out despite knowing I would not be buying a bike from him. He was welcoming and gave me tons of information to help me make decisions on bikes, clips, shoes, and hydration packs. Having formerly worked in a bike shop, it’s easy to tell who knows what they’re talking about and has the experience. I was very pleased.

I bought my first road bike in March of 2012. I tried a couple of different stores in Glendale, but my best experience was through Bicycle Depot. This store was the first one I tried while I was shopping around for a bike. I didn’t have a lot of experience, but I wasn’t clueless, either — my sister has been an experienced road cyclist for years. I was treated well from the moment I set foot in Bicycle Depot. I was greeted by Kyle, one of the bike mechanics there. He’s young but obviously still has years of experience under his belt. He listened to what my needs were — a road bike to get me into the sport, and one that was not too expensive but would also not hold me back. I liked the mid-range Giant road bicycle he recommended, but decided to keep looking around before taking the plunge. I shopped around a few other stores in the area, but none had the same level of customer service, bikes that fit my needs and budget, and«free adjustments for life» that Bicycle Depot offers. It was an easy decision and I went right back to Bicycle Depot a couple of days later. Kyle remembered me and the bike he had recommended, and quickly made the appropriate adjustments to ensure a good fit. He even threw in a water bottle cage for free and bolted it to my new bike. Since my purchase in March(8 months ago) I have continued to go back to Bicycle Depot for adjustments, accessories, a tune-up, and minor tweaks(new pedals, cables, chain, trued a wheel, replaced a tire, put on new bar tape). The bicycle mechanics there are professional, experienced, and knowledgable. They have fixed any funny noises, replaced a faulty tire, and have even made special orders to fit my needs. 2500+ miles later I am still loving my bike, and it is riding as well or better than it was when it was brand new. If you’re looking to buy a bike, need a repair, or need some professional advice on road cycling, mountain biking, BMX bikes, downhill racing, push bikes for kids, hybrid bikes, etc., go to Bicycle Depot. Be patient if there are customers ahead of you and you have to wait a few minutes. You’ll be glad you did.

I just dropped a whole lot of money on a road bike and couldn’t be any happier that I made the purchase at Bicycle Depot of Arizona. Kevin was my initial contact, and he took the time to educate me on the choices and options. These folks do not work on commission, so there was no pressure to buy. I came to this shop first, then went to three other shops with no particular intention of returning to Bicycle Depot of Arizona. However, after going to the other shops, I realized that the best customer service and prices were back at this shop. When I returned to make the purchase, Kevin was not working that day. Steve stepped in and provided outstanding customer service. Again, no sales tactics or pressure — just a lot of solid education and advice. Nowadays, it’s tough to find businesses that actually realize that long-term customer relationships are the key. These guys have it figured out. They’ve won my future business. Oh, and lucky me, they now have a shop over at Desert Ridge — much closer to home for me.

Very knowledgeable and great customer service. Helped us pick a bike that was perfect for our son without trying to sell us something we didn’t need. Would definitely shop there again.

Personalized service without a hard sales pitch. Both Jonas and Anthony are very professional, and have a wealth of knowledge that they openly share. They helped me select a bike that is perfect for me, and offer free tune-ups/servicing for the life of the bike. They even delivered the bike to my house — EXCELLENTSERVICE!
