Used this company when I bought a car & the salesman made me have insurance before I drove off the lot. This was a company that they recommended. Thought the prices were pretty steep & was told that I was paying so much because I didn’t have a car for 2 years… therefore didn’t need auto insurance. Payment always had to be debited from my checking acct… absolutely no option to pay with credit card. I thought that sucked. When my year was almost up I got the renewal and instead of my insurance going down with a good driving history and no claims, it went up. Called another company that I was interested in and got MUCH better coverage. Called Jason to cancel & he told me they needed my signature to cancel, so I sent that to them. Miraculously, when Jason asked why I was going with another company I told him I was getting better coverage for cheaper. He then told me he is a broker & can probably find me cheaper and better coverage. He ended up calling me back with, I’ll admit, a better deal… but by that time I had a bad taste in my mouth for how this guy does business. Why wouldn’t he have sent me that quote originally on my renewal??? Probably because he makes more money by screwing people over. Ended up being billed from their company and also being billed by my new company. Which put me in overdraft. I called & texted Jason… he texted back (not even a phone call…) and told me to call my bank and have them open an unauthorized charge claim. It was resolved by my bank in a little over a week, but in the meantime I have a negative balance in my account because of their debit & couldn’t even use my checking acct for that time. I never heard anything back from Jason ever as far as the charge. No apology for my time & energy that had to go into all of these calls. Pretty rude. I DO NOT recommend.
