Best BoxLunch store ever!!!(Better and nicer staff than Irvine Spectrum). I drove an hour to get my glow in the dark venom — totally worth it. Lots of great pop culture gift ideas and for a great cause when you buy $ 10. when you spend $ 50 you get $ 25 boxlunch money to spend on your next $ 50 purchase. :)

I’ve been here twice since it opened. Both times, the employees I talked to were friendly, helpful, and not at all pushy. Be on the lookout for their clearance items. I got some cool stuff for decent prices.

I didn’t know this place existed until I started my Christmas shopping for this year. Such an awesome store! The 90s kid in me was overjoyed with nostalgia! They have super cool pop culture t-shirts, games, accessories, etc. Lots of throwback type stuff and new things as well. I’ve gone in a few times already and each time the staff was super friendly. The assistant manager was so helpful(sorry, didn’t get her name)! They also have a website where you can order items and have it shipped to the store.

I stumbled into BoxLunch last night on my way to Target. It is located on the second floor of the Glendale Galeria, just a few stores down from Hot Topic. According to one of the employees, BoxLunch is a new sister store of Hot Topic. They sell a lot of really cool nerdy/geeky, Pop Culture stuff. Whereas Hot Topic has an edgier feel to the store, BoxLunch is less cluttered and has better lighting. I found a lot of goodies I’d love to get my hands on, like a couple of cute Studio Ghibli fleece blankets or some Star Wars luggages. According to a sign outside the store, you can get 30% off your very first purchase. I don’t know if you have to sign up for a membership(I assume it’d be free?) to get the deal, but I do know this: for every $ 10 you spend at BoxLunch, a portion of the profit goes towards charity. That’s a pretty neat concept. Parking at the Galleria is always free, but can be crowded on weekends. Just go during off hours(like after dinner) and check this store out.
