Bridal and Tux 4 U

I looked everywhere for a gown, and was getting discouraged. I live in Glendale, but had even traveled down to Orange County in the pursuit of the perfect dress. I was getting close to having to «settle»…I knew I wanted a gorgeous princess wedding gown, and I had tried on some beautiful dresses but none of them had the «it» factor. You know… where you put the dress on and you just KNOW this is it. I was starting to think I just wouldn’t have that experience…
Then, as I was driving through Glendale one day, I noticed this little shop. It didn’t look like much from the outside, but I noticed that the dresses in the window WERE ball gown style dresses. So I thought, ok, I’ll check it out.
As soon as I came with my mom and we glanced through their dresses, I got super excited. It was princess ball gown after princess ball gown. The dresses were all «samples» and so there wasn’t a big selection of sizes. I was only allowed to try on 5 at my appointment, which I was disappointed by. But, it worked out.
The first dress I tried on… it was THE ONE! I’d found it! :) It was a gorgeous princess looking ball gown with plenty of bling and a long train. I was in love. I tried on the others, but I knew that one was it. The size of the dress, however, was a 12 and I’m a size 2. Not to worry, they said. If I bought the sample, their in house seamstress could size it down for me. So buy the sample I did… and saved a HUGE amount of money by doing so!
The seamstress not only sized my dress down for me, but she also was able to use some of the fabric she cut off to make custom sleeves for me, as I preferred a dress that wasn’t sleeveless. I loved that, as it meant no one else in the world would ever wear my exact dress. The dress was GORGEOUS and it fit me perfectly! I can’t even tell you how many compliments I got on that dress, it may be what people remember most about my wedding!
The only reasons I give this place 4 stars instead of 5 are some of their policies. You MUST make an appointment, even if the place is completely empty when you go in, which seems a little silly to me. You can only try on 5 dresses per appointment, which also seems silly when there’s no appointment right after yours and the place is empty. Finally, you cannot take pictures of yourself in the dress unless you choose that day to buy it. I took pictures of myself in the dresses at all the other places I went to and it helped a lot in narrowing down my search, so I’m not a fan of that rule.
However, the customer service asides from that was great. They definitely took care of me, and their in-​house seamstress does amazing work. So overall, I highly recommend them. Good luck on your search! :)

First store I walked into for dress hunting, tried on the first dress out of a lot of options and fell in love! Not to mention their outstanding customer service! So happy thank you!

Beware of their sizing chart before you order anything.
Last year when I was searching for bridesmaids dresses, I drove past this place. I thought why not and gave it a shot. I went in with my mom and my sister (one of the bridesmaids) to see what, if any, types of bridesmaid dresses they had. The owner of the shop greeted us and showed us all the dresses they carried. Because of my sisters size, she was unable to try any of the dresses on — they only carry 1 dress of each style in whatever random size the company sends them. Strange but okay. My little sister got measured and I told them I would return with other bridesmaids as they got to town.
I returned with another bridesmaid who tried on various dresses and found the one that she liked. The owner measured her and said she should order a size 6. That is her normal dress size BUT!!! the dresses she tried on all had the size of 10 – 14 on the tag. We mentioned this to him and he said, «Oh, my daughter is usually the one that does all the female sizing for dresses so that is probably why I am getting a strange number.» He suggested she order the size that fit her according to the tag on the dress which was a 12.
I wrote down our wedding date and the names of the ladies in our wedding party and left. He said he would check with his daughter and get back to us on what size specifically for both my sister and friend… when I walked out that day, I never heard from him again. And I was left uneasy about the whole situation in the first place so not returning was fine by me.

Walked in with my girl, got a great deal! Thanks for the great service and the great deal! I recommend this place to anyone who wants to look really good and save money! I shall send my friends to you guys soon!

My wedding being few week before renting the tux they did good job on taking care of what was needed. I ended up renting 9 tuxes. What I am very disappointed in is their business tactic of changing prices when it comes to pick up merchandise. We were told and given in writing that by renting 6 tux one will be free. But when time came to pick up one day before the wedding we ended up paying for all of them. He knew we had no choice !!!

Walked in to find a wedding dress. The place was empty except for the salesman. He said sorry you can’t look without an appointment. I understand the whole appointment thing but really at least be a little more friendly or ask us if we’d like to make an appointment or what kind if dress we are looking for. Seemed like he didn’t want to sell anything.

Bridal & Tux 4 U is a cute little cozy shop right in the heart of Glendale on Glenoaks.
My friend who recently got married was looking for dressed and thank god she found this place. She lives in Glendale and didn’t want to travel elsewhere to look for dresses so she was stuck between a few stores. She complained that some of the stores were too expensive and that their customer service was horrible. So luckily for her and I we found this lovely place. They have so many different dresses and tuxedos.
My friend found a dress she really loved and they ordered her dress which came withing a month! It was an expensive dress too.
A month before the wedding all the grooms came here to get fitted and of course they were all happy as well. Great customer service A+ in my book for sure.

Excellent service and prices! They were great help and truly cared unlike that place at the Empire… after 15 minutes no one even came up!

My best friend came into town for a few days and with her September wedding coming up, a bunch of her girls got together to start checking out dresses. Bridal and Tux 4 U is very close to her house so her Mom figured it was worth being the first stop.
Name is a little cheese and it is hard to tell when you look in the window what to expect. There is a wide array of dresses in many different styles and fabrics. You have as much of a chance finding a wonderful dress here than at any other salon I have been to, with the added bonus of excellent customer service.
Having just been married last summer, we knew the «finding a wedding dress drill» and her search was significantly easier than mine. First stop, BINGO.
Check out off the rack if you are around a size 8, they have honest and affordable prices and can’t be beat. This is a shop with more traditional and exotic dresses, lots of strapless, lots of raw silks, silks. They have everything from a beautiful Emma (Gweneth Paltrow version) wedding dress to the sequined out, sheer waist, «Snooki could wear that» dress.
Family owned, attentive and honest business.
Street parking (plenty of it).
