Just had my first microdermabrasion yesterday with Agy. She made me feel comfortable and explained the process to me. She also gave me a few tips on how I can take care of my skin. I will definitely try them. Will surely recommend her to my friends and am looking forward to scheduling more microdermabrasion in the future. I tried the microdermabrasion for the first time and i loved it. My skin became so smooth and it was rejuvenating. AGI who did my facial was so amazing and very friendly as well. Finally found the place to take care of my skin. Carma MedSpas is highly recommended.

I went for the first time yesterday for a microdermabrasion and it was wonderful. Aggy is super fantastic — explains exactly what she is doing and presents a wonderfully comfortable environment. It felt more like a massage spot than a Med spa! My skin looks great even after one visit and I expect it will look even better after the several I will go back for. Highly recommend !

I’m not going to lie, I have been wanted to get my lips done for a very long time, however I was nervous because I have a history of fainting around needles. A friend of mine recommended me to Carma Med Spa and I cannot be more relieved that I decided to come here for my procedure! Making an appointment was very easy. For my treatment, I met with Ruben. I explained to him my concerns and he was extremely comforting and really had me at ease. I have never been more calm entering a procedure. To be honest, I’ve been more nervous going to the dentist than I was at Carma Med Spa. The procedure was 100% painless and I am so happy with my final results! My lips have that natural fullness that I was going for, and they do not look «over done». Best part is, I didn’t faint! Ruben really has that natural touch! I will definitely come back for more in the future! Thank you Carma Med Spa!

Absolutely amazing experience!
I had purchased a groupon earlier this year for microdermabrasion & had my appointment scheduled for a month or so after. Aggy and I immediately hit it off and I looked forward every month to our appointments so we could catch up. She is such a kind gentle smart human! I felt so safe and at home with her, I was on the verge of asking if I could join her family for dinner some time haha. My groupons ran out but I will definitely be booking more appointments next year! Not only just to continue fixing my acne scars, but to check in with the wonderful Aggy again.
Aggy if you’re listening, I miss you already! Hope you and the kids are doing well.

I came to Carma for a micro-​dermabrasion treatment. The experience was excellent. The room was very inviting/​relaxing. The aestheticism was very professional. The staff was very customer friendly. I enjoyed the Microdermabrasion with Aggie today. Lots of dirt came out. Plus my skin feels super clean and soft. Will post an update after completing my series of three to see how my skin looks.

I have a very problematic and sensitive skin and have spent a lot of time at estheticians’ offices in the past. After moving to LA about 6 months ago, I needed to find a regular esthetician here. I found Carma Medspa on Groupon, did my research, decided to give their microdermabrasion treatment a try and now I’m hooked. My experience with this place from day one has been nothing but amazing. Starting from very nice front office staff who accommodated me for an appointment within few days of my call, to a super sweet, knowledgable, gentle, and professional skincare specialist Agy, who’s been taking care of my skin for the past 5 months. I get treatments every two weeks and I can honestly say my skin has never felt this great before. My acne scars have become much smoother and less noticeable, my sun spots have become almost nonexistent, and my complexion have improved significantly. One of the things I like about Agy is that she takes her time to educate you on how to take care of your skin so you can maintain it between your visits. She’s very gentle and makes sure you’re 100% comfortable before and during your treatment. In addition to being very professional, her bubbly and kind personality and positive energy immediately puts you at ease and lets you relax. Thank you Agy!!!

First time doing a microdermabrasion facial, thought I would try something new!
Looked into the process the purpose of it and the reviews for Carma MedSpas and saw great reviews for Agy sure enough I called and booked an appointment with her I was able to get an appointment for that following week at an accommodating time. She was super detailed about the location and parking. Don’t forget park on the bottom structure and go into the medical building fourth floor 404. If that helps. Now, Let me just add that I work as a lifeguard so skin care is something that I try to look into as much as I can because of the exposure I have to the sun as well as the chlorinated water
Agy made me feel super comfortable. Explained everything she was doing, and gave me great tips on my skincare! This was my first treatment and I plan to go back my face feels amazing. Only strange thing was that I have a dark bruising spot under my chin which I didn’t have before my treatment, I am not too concerned about it (hoping it goes away) since it is normal for your skin to be a little irritated and red after the treatment but definitely recommend it. It was something new, with a great result

After a lot of research, I decided to get a microdermabrasion done here and was very happy! It was my first time getting this done so I was very nervous but it went smoothly.
–Office Staff–
I accidentally came in a day before my appointment and the office manager went to the back to see if the esthetician would accept me as a last minute walk-​in instead of just immediately turning me away. Instead of taking her lunch break, the esthetician took me in. And she wasn’t rude or mad about it! I felt very bad but she was super sweet and made me feel comfortable.
–Procedure–
She talked me through the whole process and offered me a lot of skin regimen tips without trying to upsell me a bunch of stuff o don’t need, which I truly value. It was painless and relaxing.
–Outcome–
My skin was a little red for the rest of the day, but looked amazing the next day. I suffer from some really combative adult acne and have some scarring from it, but the microderm made my skin glow and reduced the appearance of scarring for a few weeks. I use a topical retinA for my acne and I definitely think it absorbed way better after the procedure. My next appointment is next week and I’ve very excited to be coming back!

I also used a Groupon to get a microdermabrasion here with Agy and yes it did take a long time to get an appointment on a Saturday but I waited and it was worth it. Agy is easy to talk to and the procedure was very well done. I had microderm many times previously and have to say that this is the most thorough that an esthetician has ever been. She took her time and went into every nook and cranny of my face. I was a bit red afterwards but that subsided and my skin does look better than before.

Convenient and easy scheduling. I purchased a groupon for 3 facials; service was great. I enjoyed my facials and the results were definitely noticeable and worth the price.

I came here for microdermabrasion, and my skin feels smooth every time after I do it. I also have a problem with big pores and Aggy would always give me helpful tips on how to minimize them. The procedure is very soothing and the room feels safe and calming. I definitely recommend!

My appointment for a microdermabrasion is in a little over 2 months. 2 months! In their defense I can’t go during the week. But even if I could the closest appointment I was offered is 3 weeks from now. I assume I have to wait so long because I said the magic word — groupon! I’ll be back in 2 months to review their service.

CARMA has truly changed me! I get my microdermabrasion treatments done here and I can’t believe how much my skin has improved! I had sever hyper pigmentation due to my acne and scars. I had battled with that for 5+ years. So I thought I would give micro a try. When I saw results after the first session I just knew I wanted to keep coming back, So I kept coming back! Now I am done with my 3^rd session and my skin has never looked so clear! All due to Agy and her amazing work! She helps you in all the ways she can, by recommending tips when it comes to taking care of your complexion and more. She is super experienced and her work is beyond!

GROUPON CUSTOMERS BEAWARE!!! Not sure who wrote the 5 stars reviews… maybe family members? Looking at the Groupon’s reviews, does not surprise me to see the low ratings. People put their business on Groupon to gain a new clientele but they treat those customers poorly and they will never return, why doing the groupon then?
Bought a botox groupon, for 20 units which is what I have been getting for craw feet and works great for me and lasts over 4 months.
The doctor was insisting that I should buy more, that I needed 40 min per area, (crazy) in order for it to really work. I said no and stick to the usual 20.
It didn’t work great, which I’m not sure wether they used 20 units, since that usually works great for me, and due to my experience with Groupon, you get screwed.
I had a microdermabrasion, it was like a 15 minute thing, and I liked it when she finished, My skin felt amazing, but the next day, my skin was about the same.
I tried it once more because I bought a deal on GROUPON, and to give it the benefit of a doubt. Same thing. Even paid extra $ 25 for a vitamin C infusion but made no difference in my skin whatsoever the next day.
I’m not denying this might work for others but didn’t work for me.
In my last session, I mentioned to Agy, the lady who does the microdermabrations, that my skin was irritated due to my period coming and she said: WOAH, you still get your periods?
What? Rude!!! Lucky for her I couldn’t react out of shock. Is annoying to me how some peeps dare to be rude to their customers and expect them to come back.
More annoying is when you get the owner privately message you arguing through your reviews and defending her rude employee. A little bit of common sense for example… starting with an apology… will suit her really well. She keeps replying to the negative reviews that they take «pride in improving themselves, but I can only hear «PRIDE» because if you really want to improve, you need to be open to feedback. And when you can’t even admit the issue and take responsibility for it, that just shows pride which blocks any kind of desire and possibility to improve and change. Good luck with that.
Same replies were given in other negative Groupon reviews. That only shows a lack of interest and sensitivity to each individual case. No regards whatsoever for people, and that
alone is bad business.

Lately, I’ve had more mild acne break outs than usual and wanted to try something out of my normal régime in hope that it would help speed recovery. I found CARMA Medspa on Groupon due to their $ 35 microdermabrasion offer. Let me just say that I started the process being a little skeptical, and I left ecstatic! I can already see a noticeable difference in the smoothness of my skin texture (which is surprising to me because I already have fairly smooth skin minus the acne), and in the evening out of my skin tone. Agy is very friendly, and even recommended tips on how to get a clearer complexion that I never thought of prior to this session.
Shortly after the microdermabrasion, I tried their Swedish massage with their massage therapist, Cody. It was my first professional massage, and he made it a great experience by being very informative, friendly, and considerate. My body tends to get tense easily (I’m prone to stress), and I left feeling very relaxed and calm. The atmosphere of the room itself also aided in the overall experience, as it was very peaceful.
I definitely recommend CARMA Medspa, and will be going again soon!

I found this place through Groupon. They offered 1 microdermabrasion for $ 35, which is a good deal considering some spas charge around $ 60 or more. The original price without the Groupon at Carma is $ 75.
I’ve had plenty of microdermabrasions before so I already knew what to expect but Carma takes a different approach to the procedure. The environment here was much more soothing than the typical clinical office. The room was dimly lit with soft music and the estetichian was so sweet, I felt very relaxed. The lady who did my microderm was awesome. She Did a thorough Job And explained every Step Of the process. She even gave me some tips about how to maintain my healthy skin and told me about some fun places to visit outside LA (I was only visiting the area for a few days.)
I’m glad I stumbled upon that Groupon. I’ll be sure to make another appointment next time I’m in the area.
