I’ve lived in this neighborhood for years and seen the building in passing but only began going recently. Their blood sausage is so delicious! If you’re squeamish please don’t be! Just try it and you will be greatly rewarded. We always get such friendly service and often the will give us samples. Such a treat, and we end up buying everything they give us to try. And the liverwurst? Forget about it. I could eat the whole package in one sitting it’s so good.

I come from Bakersfield to buy for my German Christmas Eve Dinner with family! Armina is the one to call with special orders — ready when we come the day before the 24th. Great meats and cold-​cuts… breads and German Christmas yummies! So worth the trip!

Last night we threw a little Oktoberfest fest party, and I have to say these sausages were some of the most amazing sausages I’ve ever had.
Right now I can’t stop thinking about the cheddar bratwurst and would love to see if we could get some delivered in SF.

A german grocery store that sells really good fresh sausages. If you are having an Octoberfest party, this is the place to stock up on authentic foods… and some kitschy decorations as well. On the shelves you will find grocery items from Germany. For example, Fanta from Germany… which is very different than the over-​sweetened corn syrup they sell here in the States.
If you don’t know where to begin, get five Bratwursts and five weißwursts (pronounced Vice-​Worst) and a loaf of fresh bavarian bread… and some Thomy mustard in a tube. Oh, and a can of Fanta.

Best selection of cold cuts and sausages (yes, the Kaesekrainer…) in the area at a decent price. This tiny store also offers such a great variety of German chocolates, cookies, bread, pickles, mustard,… everything including a truly impressive choice of alcohol: I go there for a few sausages and end up with a bag of groceries… I love it!

Delicious sausages and other meats from all over Europe. We tried their bratwurst, knockwurst and Polish sausage — wonderful! Pickled items and sauerkraut, along with snacks, cheeses and beverages. Don’t come here if you’re vegetarian or on a diet!

This is my local go-​to for sausage, pâté, and cold cuts and german beers (for the bf). I have tried a variety of their sausages and they all were delicious. I especially like to get their jäger knacker (sausage jerky) and have it around for a snack. What I particularly like to get here is their liverwurst and cold cut blood sausage or headcheese. For those of you who are into eating blood and guts, this place satisfies the craving. I love making myself a sandwich using liverwurst instead of mayo and blood sausage and headcheese cold cuts instead of plain turkey meat. No other deli around sells these unique meats, especially at their great prices so I frequent Continental Gourmet Sausage a lot!

Based on the reviews went for pick up lunch sandwich. The lady was very nice, looks like these folks are very good and treat customers very well.
I ordered andouille sausage sandwich on a french baguette. She asked me if I want mustard and mayo, said yes. All it was is this whole sausage, in between the bread.
I was not impressed. Potato salad was pretty bland and ordinary.
Not sure what is the big deal, may be the sausages are great and they got German groceries. But then this is not a lunch place.

I have been eyeing this place for some time and never knew they offered sandwiches!!! I went here for lunch today and I was very pleasantly surprised! The shop is small but the variety is uffff!!! My eyes went all over the place from all the wursts! I had the knackwurst sandwich and BOY did that tate delish with only mayo and mustard! Last time I had something similar was back in Europe! Combined with macaroni and german potato salads my lunch was better than subway or any other quick food place! I plan on going back not only for sandwiches but also to take sausages home to cook.

Their lunch cold cuts to go sandwiches are great too. The lady makes fresh side potato salads w. Mustards & hams. Ask her, she won’t guide you wrong.
The beef sausage jerkys are very tasty. $ 2/​ea.
