David provides an excellent customer service. Very professional and always available for all your questions. As a first time home owner, we sure have lots of questions and David took the time to explain everything in detail. He even took the time to be present at the signing of the escrow to make sure you have all the proper documents and to answer any last minute questions. Definitely recommend him to anyone who is looking for a broker !!!

We had 3 loans to refinance before our interest only loans expired. We were told by our lender 2 times that we did not qualify for a refi — EVEN after doubling our income they still did not qualify us –even with perfect credit. David The Friendly Lender provides excellent customer service! On the rare occasion that you get his voice mail he calls back within minutes. He took the time to crunch numbers and run various mortgage scenarios for me over the phone and I am not even technically a client. I am currently too deep in the process with another broker, but based on customer service I wish that I had contacted David first. I know that in the future if I need to refinance again David will get the call.

David helped me purchase my first home in May 2014, and to refinance in November 2014. Sometimes one can get skeptical if there are too many 5-​star reviews, but in this case, David is definitely the real deal! I’ve worked with many mortgage professionals over the years, and David is by far the most knowledgeable, easiest to work with, and open and friendly broker I’ve dealt with.
My re-​finance had some complications, but David was able to work through those with ease, and in the end my closing cost was $ 1600 less than expected!

David is the best. He helped my wife and I with a VA Loan to purchase our first home. We initially tried to obtained a home loan through USAA but its call center kept rejecting our loan (for no meaningful reason). We found David and he made happen what seemed impossible. He easily guided our VA loan through the funding process and eased our home seller’s real estate agent. David found us an amazing deal and we met every funding deadline. The home buying process can be frustrating but, with David, you don’t have to worry about financing — he nailed it for us! Without going into too much detail, let me tell you this: I’ve had the worst experiences with mortgage brokers. One pre-​approved me for a loan and then decided that she’d made a mistake after I started looking for homes. Oops, thanks for wasting my time.
Another talked a big game and wanted to know all about my work (I’m a filmmaker), stressing the fact that he works with creative professionals all of the time. He asked for three years of bank statements and tax returns but NEVER followed up or returned calls. I deal with enough Hollywood egos to seek a little more humility in my mortgage broker.
Still another pre-​approved me for a loan so small that I would be been better off buying a late-​model Hyundai with the money.
I have assets, I have zero debt and I have above excellent (800+) credit. What’s the problem? I’m self-​employed. And the present way in which loans are written does not like self-​employed people.
