Dollar King

I love this store! I dont understand what the person a few posts down from me said about the customer service because I have been shopping here and their la crescenta location and I have NEVER had a problem with their service. They have helped with difficult orders with me in the past (balloon orders) and I have never seen a frown or a grown from anyone. They literally have everything! It’s my go to shop when I’m in the area! Love this place! Wish they end up nationally for my friends in the east coast!

This store is great. They have an excellent selection. I prefer this to the 99 cent only stores. They have a wider selection of items (aside from food) the only reason i gave it less than 5 stars is because most of the employees I’ve dealt with here are really rude cunts. Usually if you have unhappy employees who hate their job/​life then it means that the owners or managers of this business are probably cunts too. I strongly believe that poor customer service is a reflection of the management.

I was pleasantly surprised when entering this store. It is huge, clean and has everything you need for $ 1.11 (i think). I even bought these very nice aviator glasses for a $ 1. The party section was unbelievable! I had spent over $ 50 at Party City for décor and I could have gotten everything here for under $ 20. Great, great store. Better than any 99 cent store!

I love this dollar king. Starting with the fact that for parties you can find everything easily becuase its color coded. They have a full selection of supplies to do your nails. Every department Michaels and Joanns has so does this store. I wish I lived a little closer to it, although maybe its for the best as I always come out with a bunch of stuff. Its clean, affordable, and the staff is nice.

The best local dollar shop in town! They have everything! Greatest selection on party supplies I’ve ever seen. Their Christmas section is excellent too! Large varieties to decorate any home & office. Staffs friendly & overall store appearance is clean!

Wow. So when I think of a dollar store I think of cheaply made one time use products. This place actually has namebrand items. I recently had my house painted and when My wife and I was trying to pick out colors we went here for paintbrushes. We only used them one time but way better than going to the Home Depot and spending eight bucks on a brush that I’m only going to use once to try out samples.

Dollar King is my favorite dollar store. I could get stuck here for hours and only leave with one thing. Okay I’m exaggerating a little. I usually leave this place with a variety of glass jars/​containers (for food and arts and crafts), random household needs, lipliner, and candy. They have a really big section for party and holiday decorations. As soon as summer was wrapping up, the store was already set up for Halloween/​Thanksgiving.
This is a great store to find things for arts and crafts such as hot glue guns, acrylic paint, yarn, poster boards, etc. Pretty much anything a kid needs for a school project.

This store is great! There is so much to look at! I love the holiday stuff they bring in, our family always shops here for a bit of everything. The store is over all pleasent, the only thing I can’t stand is the back driveway into the parking lot. Especially in the holiday season, it gets crazy! The employees are very nice and helpful too!

This place is amazing, they have everything you can ask for! Home improvement tools, crafts, and stationary items for the office for only $ 1 and some change. The staff is pretty welcoming, they actually greet you and appreciate your business. Best thing about this place is how clean and neat it’s kept. Most definitely returning.

They have absolutely everything you need here! I love this place the lipsticks are great (they actually last longer than my revlon brand) makeup, school supplies, art supplies, snacks, car supplies, etc. Also, the worker VALERIE is super friendly always has a smile on her face I love that girl! She’s the best!

I was just so hazy about moving to Glendale and finding a value super market. Then I found this place show up and it pretty much has everything you need! Great quality stuff no joke! And the prices have been raised to $ 1.11 which is honestly no big deal and no surprise for $$$Glendale$$$ the place is clean well kept and super awesome. They have a big isle dedicated to art and craft supplies which is much appreciated by myself being an artist. Will come here often

Rite Aid, Michaels, and all the other useful stores had a baby and named it «Dollar King». Stop reading Unilocal and just go there lol

If your a guy just trying to get by and wanna stop by here for some cheap essentials… forget it.
all I found were tasty unsalted roasted sunflower seeds from malaysia or something…99 cents for a nice full pouch and taste great. Walked through the aisles absolutely nothing worth seeing, buying, or contemplating. As useless as a dollar store can be. 1 star for the seeds. Polite cashier though, so another star.

Wow — so many dings and complaints about $ 1.11 pricing. Get over it, guys. This store has so much to offer at sharply reduced prices. It’s worth visiting just for the birthday and party merchandise. Have you seen the price of greeting cards lately?
Dollar King is perfect for Pinterest addicts like myself. I’m designing a spice rack that will require several dozen Mason jars, and they’re plentiful here. Lots of pretty colors and styles to choose from.
Check outside the back door for super cheap bargains. I recently scored some paper cup packages that were 4 for a dollar (pardon me, $ 1.11). The staff are very helpful and friendly too. Bring your own bags and have fun shopping!

I should start off by saying that recently everything in the store has gone up to $ 1.11, regardless this store is awesome and still absolutely worth those extra 11 cents! Imagine Dollar Tree and Michaels having a baby together and you will have a pretty good idea of what Dollar King is all about.

Seriously, I mean it when I say that they havr everything in here! I was looking for a styrofoam to make my cake pops stand for a baby shower. I found some already and was holding on to it, but little did I know that this place has something I would prefer even more. Flower foams! I wasn’t really expecting they’d have it here! Michaels would have it but for a higher price of course! And over here, it’s only a dollar! Love this place! Will definitely come back to get «hard to find» stuff in regular dollar stores.

My goodness… this place has EVERYTHING (and it’s well organized!)!!!
I thought Dollar Tree was the ultimate Dollar Store, but Dollar King is far more superior. You can find all these random hair gels, dyes, school supplies (including those transparent plastic binders that they sell at Office Depot), baskets, and an endless supply of cosmetics! Eye liner, Eye Shadow, lip stick, & more random colorful things. I’m sure they’re not the best quality make up, but I’m sure kids will love ‘em… plus its just ONE dollar!
I found the same high quality ceramic dog bowls that they sell at PETCO for $ 12.99 each for one dolla here! You can also find amazing masquerade masks here. Masks include interesting high quality, cut-​outs, feathers, glitter covered, and bedazzle masks for just ONE DOLLER! Michaels would easily sell these mask for $ 20.
Did I also mention a wide arrange of fake flowers? Get your mom/​girlfriend a gift that will never die… for just — Okay, I’ll stop.
But seriously this place is worth coming to. They even had some awkward Leg Avenue leggings in the front.
Parking can be tedious during the weekend. I didn’t find a parking lot, so fend for yourself.
