I enjoy the service I get here when I come in around brunch hours. The food is solid and I love the coffeecake they give you! I really wanna try their daily specials so one of these days, I’m going to make it in their in the afternoon.

This place was gross, super old and run down. The staff was not rude but weren’t exactly nice or welcoming. They messed up my order as well. I just wanted the veggie wrap with no cheese. How hard is that? The place wasn’t even busy.

Meh. If that seems flip, I apologize. There wasn’t much to like about this place. The food is competent but not worth a return trip, and while they were generous with the coffee, I won’t be back.

Awful. Eggs: runny Biscuits and gravy: Biscuits were doughy, gravy was thin and tasted like wet flour. Hash Browns: were mushy, barely and crunch. For the money, go to Conrads instead.

Walk in on Friday at 8:30 am, only one other customer. A bit worried but what the hell. Asked the waitress for recommendation and end up with Chile Quille, I’m no expert but, damn good. All I can say is Ariba! Riba! Would definitely come back

My husband and I had our cars being serviced at a near car dealer. We’ve driven by this restaurant before & have always wanted to try this place, so we decided to walk and have breakfast there. When we entered the restaurant, we weren’t greeted or even acknowledged. At a glance this heavy set hispanic waitress looked over our direction and never said a word. My husband grabbed a menu & we sat down. We sat there for about 20 mins, in that time frame the waitress served coffee and spoke to the only two other customers aside from us, Never once stopping by our table. We got up and left and spend our money elsewhere! In a world where there is so much variety and so many restaurants. This was not our loss it was theirs.

This place is a blast from the past! Now that the Toasted Bun is closed, Eat Well will be my go-to for diner breakfast when I’m in town. I had the two-egg breakfast and everything was perfectly cooked and delicious(fluffy eggs, coffee refills when I needed them, great service and reasonable prices). It’s hard to find spots like this these days. Can’t wait to come back.

I’m surprised this place has such high reviews. I came over the weekend for breakfast and left pretty disappointed. I really wanted to like this place since it’s within walking distance for me. We ordered two breakfast egg sandwiches with a side of hash browns that it comes with and 2 small orange juices, not freshly squeezed. Our bill was $ 32! This isn’t including tip. Now I wouldn’t mind paying that much for breakfast if it tasted good and if the quality was good. We didn’t touch our hash browns because it had a horrible aftertaste of oil and the grill. The egg sandwiches were blah with browned lettuce and dry bacon. The waitress was attentive. The guy who seated us I honestly couldn’t understand, the display where the register is was dirty with a couple of pieces of muffins/cake, the place is outdated and the name is very misleading EATWELL… Not really!

I had the waffle combo with crispy bacon. Waffle wasn’t cooked right… outside was too hard and inside was gooey. Outside was so hard it cut up my gums around my molars. Crispy bacon was hard. Wait staff was great. Décor is aged but clean. Food was meh.

Whenever I’m in Glendale, I make sure to have breakfast at Eat Well. Let me back track for a second: years ago I was invited to a lunch meeting at the Eat Well on Santa Monica in WeHo. Up to that time I had assumed it was some sanctimonious veggie place. I was wrong. Eat Well might actually be the best traditional diner in LA. Unlike Denny’s and IHOP, Eat Well still deals in whole milk and real butter. And its breakfasts are much better. In fact, right now I’m between bites of Lox, Eggs and Onions. And you know that unless a place blows that offering(I’m looking at you, The Waffle) I’m giving it 5 stars. Also, though Eat Well does represent an accurate take on America’s Diner tradition, it does have some value adds, like a constant steam of alt rock music. I’ve actually been in here wearing a Clash t-shirt when«Clampdown» started rolling through the sound system. And if that wasn’t a wink from all that is, I don’t know what is. They also have lots of specials for lunch and dinner, but I love it for the Lox, Eggs and Onions and rock music. They serve breakfast daily, till 3pm. And right now, «Pretty in Pink» is playing and the coffee is good.

I came on Saturday around 9:15 am and learned they don’t make the coffee cake /coffee bread until about 9:45 and it won’t be ready for another hour after that. This place is a divey hole in the wall type breakfast diner. Don’t expect something grand. Our seats had duct tape on it and most of the people around us were fighting a hangover, including my sister. I had the lox benedict and my eggs were cooked to perfection. Sister got the chilaquiles EXTRA spicy and they delivered on that. Food was decent and did the job(cured her hangover). My coffee cup was never empty(I had about 5), props for the speedy and friendly service.

I was surprised that this place has such high reviews. I don’t care if the place needs some TLC as long as the food is good, but the food was meh… It is not cheap, it is not easy to park on the street, we had to ask for clean forks and spoons, so to me it was not better than Denny’s(ouch)

Standard diner breakfast in Glendale. The atmosphere is unpretentious and the food is fair. Though it could have come out hotter. Big Mess(11.45) — Very generous portion of spicy sausage, zucchini, cheese and egg. A nice mess of food that was too big for me to finish in one sitting. Egg Benedict(10.95) — hollandaise sauce was nice and not too citrusy. Eggs any Style w/Bacon(9.95) — The bacon was extra crispy and borderline burnt, but that’s how we like it. The Club(11.45) — Great presentation, with no other surprises. Added $ 1 to get sweet potato fries. Biscuits and Gravy(2.95) — Definitely cheap for a reason, but comes out with two biscuits with standard gravy. Biscuits needed some crispiness and gravy was flat. Not the worst, but not the best American breakfast joint.

It’s weird to leave full and unsatisfied… Did not«Eat Well» today… Sad and disappointed… Hadn’t been here for several months and was looking forward to their complimentary coffee cake and delicious food. Got there before noon, not very busy, they let us seat ourselves anywhere, lady brings our menu and gets our drinks right away. Than a male waiter takes our order that’s nice, but I’d like my coffee cake with my coffee while I wait for my food… Saw the same lady seat two other guests plopping down menus and coffee cake, I’m like wtf! Where our complimentary coffee cake, flag down our waiter and ask, he brings this dinky looking three piece cake, three because two pieces were small pieces and two of them were edge pieces… OK no big except my fork can barely pierce thru!!! The coffee cake must’ve been sitting open air for hours cuz they were cold and VERY hard! I asked for a replacement and explained the problem, he obliges and brings a new plate with nice looking pieces and states«they’ll ALL be cold» wow… Seriously?! I get that they are complimentary but if they are shitty and will only hurt you review and your tip, why bother!?? Also… Is it really that difficult to zap the cakes really quick? Again the restaurant wasn’t busy, half full(optimist) he just didn’t care… Food came and was Luke warm… Taste fine but got cold fast because it was served to us when it had sat too long already… Coffee was the only salvation… I’ve been here multiple times, always had great service and warm delicious complimentary coffee cake… This new waiter killed it for me… His attitude and service just set the rest of the meal on downward spiral…

It’s been years(5 or more?) since I’ve been here. Same good food but, unfortunately, it looks like it hasn’t been thoroughly cleaned since I was last here! There are duct tape patches of the upholstery, and built up grime and dirt on the floor. The restroom is in the same need of deep cleaning(although the necessary places are all clean — whew!). The egg, sausage, and hash brown breakfast was very good and I’ll come back for that(4 stars!). But please do some cleaning(bring in a professional crew!) and give this place some TLC before it goes out of business!

Driving on Brand Blvd and came across this little café. Outside looks like an old fashionrd café but the inside definitely looks old and in need of a thorough cleaning. Prices are around $ 10 a person. As for the food well, it was surprisingly delicious! ! Parking is easily accessible with up-front and side parking lot.

I’ve been here a few times in the past and today was a remembrance of why I don’t come here often. I ordered the Breakfast Special. Two eggs over easy, grits(HUH), english muffin, and veggie sausage(2). In short, I only ate the eggs. I didn’t even bother taking a picture of my dish because it wasn’t worth posting. The sausages were dried up pieces of patties; looked like half-size hockey pucks. I’m not going to talk about the grits. Aren’t grits supposed to be served hot? Well, let’s just say I didn’t Eat so Well at Eat Well. Probably won’t be back anytime soon.

Urban Dictionary describes«Meh» as(Indifference; to be used when one simply does not care.) That’s how I feel about the food. The ambiance is cool, in a self loathing greasy diner kind of way.

Eat Well is a place that looks very basic outside and the inside seating needs a fabric upgrade and the restrooms(at least the men’s) needs some TLC of a hammer and new utilities. Very outdated, now that does give it charm that is for sure. You seat yourself, I walked in at 2:25pm in need of the bathroom and while waiting for someone that walked in front of me take the single use bathroom I sat myself down and was greeted and asked if I wanted something to drink and was given a menu. Menu consisted of everything, breakfast, lunch and dinner. I went for two items on the menu to use my groupon voucher up of $ 20 dollars. Went with the Chicken Alfredo Pasta and a Patty(Beef) Melt and a glass of water. While sitting there I tried the restroom once more and I guess someone was still inside, turns out after one knock a different guy came out and I used it, again, I am a male and I am stating it needs a upgrade, not that it was dirty, but it has seen better days. Sat back down and after 10 minutes I notice the female waitress say«did you lock the back door?» At first I was like oh wait a minute, then I remembered they close around 3pm not 4pm as I first thought they would close. Then I see the female close the front door, by this time another person had just walked in and he ordered a salad, only us two, so I decided to bail, once she arrived with my Patty Melt I felt why make them wait to head home. Asked my orders to go. Female was happy to do that and charged me the difference I owed her after the voucher. I said thank you and asked her if she could let me out. At first she said what? Then the bus boy in spanish said«oh she doesn’t want to let you out» I smiled we all smiled, said thank you and told them to have a great rest of the day. Once home the patty melt was outstanding, thick cut of meat, the onion rings were good as well. As for the Chicken Alfredo, I seriously think lacked flavor, they added small onions to it, never seen that. Anyway, the dish was not good at all. Maybe one day I will stop by for breakfast and hope to have a sit down experience, until then I hope Eat Well gets a bit better in the kitchen and maybe start to upgrade some seating.
