Family Dental Station

I was a patient of theirs who had nothing but good words to say about them until today when I decided to find a different practice to go to. Honestly, Dr. Arthurs and the RDH there are amazing. So that’s why I give two stars… The first time I came in, staff was great and idk what happened but they seriously need to figure it out especially with that receptionist that’s there now. I’ve tried calling since last week several times a day to try and schedule an appt for a follow up cleaning, but I didn’t get to speak with an actual receptionist and it seems as if I’m always having to listen to the automated voicemail… Surprisingly after calling for maybe the 100^th time, I finally got an answer by the receptionist who worked this evening before closing and I’m so shocked at how rude and unhelpful this girl was. I didn’t catch her name and I wish I did! Anyway, I tried scheduling my six mo cleaning (I receive emails to alert when to sched appts) so I knew I was passed due. That receptionist literally ignored every word I said just bc it was the end of the day and seriously was just trying to get off the phone! Working at a doctor’s office, I know it’s frustrating to answer a call before closing time but seriously just answer earlier in the day then! I repeatedly told her that I needed to schedule for a clean up and she was argumentative with me stating I «didn’t need a cleaning and I cannot bypass the doctor» I told her I know when to sched my appts and asks to put me on a long hold then finally decided to help sched my appt… I specifically told her I would please like a tues/​thurs morning only appt and it didn’t matter when it was for just those preferences were fine. She then consistently offers me Wednesday appts after telling her all of that then I repeated myself AGAIN and she finally offers an appt for Tuesday at the end of the month but at 2pm and I repeated once more I could only do morning and we can aim for the following month butbshe responds with «well ummmmm I don’t know then there’s nothing» and that’s when I had enough and told her it was fine. It’s so absurd to receive this type of customer service at a place you go to for your top needs. I work at a medical office and I know exactly that that is not how you treat anyone especially in the medical/​dental field. Seriously should think again on the environment you work at, or take that attitude to a fast food joint or something bc that’s where it’s expected.

Never again… I will go somewhere else for a second opinion and a place that does not have rude front desk employees. A office that is actually there for the patients.

My family and I have been a patient of this business since 2012. While in the beginning I felt the service was wonderful. Over the period of the past year I feel that the service has become less welcoming and more abrasive. I am no longer comfortable when I come to your office. My family used to love coming now I am hesitant to see what type treatment we will get this time.
The last few times my husband and I have been pressured to get a deep cleaning and until the most recent appointment the procedure was not even explained to myself or him. Then miraculously my husband did not need this anymore and his gums were better. I am not sure what created the change of heart but he was told it was not necessary anymore. The main problem that I have with the constant pressure of deep cleanings, other than the lack of explanation, is that the way it is presented is in a very pushy way. The service is pressured on me to make this appointment and without any talk of the cost to me. This is a very expensive procedure that seems to not cross anyone’s mind that it may be a cost I cannot afford. I understand their is a credit card I can apply for, this was mentioned briefly once. I am not interested in opening more credit lines in my name. When I did finally get a price, I had to request a copy of the potential costs where at one point that was provided without asking.
Also my children come to the office for their cleanings, the last time they were in, apparently fluoride was applied. This was done without my consent or knowledge. I find this very upsetting that no one found it necessary to ask me about this cost or if I even wanted it applied.

Although we received a grandiose welcome and a tour of this beautiful office when I called to make an appointment I was on hold for about 20 min and the firm who answered was very rude. I told her I had an emergency for a child and she tried to schedule the appointment 2 days out. Time to find another office… so sad because my son was looking forward to going there.

So I’ve been to see Dr. Arthurs twice now and I have to say I’m impressed. The staff has been fantastic. Very prompt, professional, and has followed up on everything that I’ve asked in regards to insurance and appointments. More than I expected really. Dr. Arthurs is very professional, has great bedside manner, and has explained everything to me in plain English. He takes my comfort and safety as his number one priority. I have not once felt that they were too busy and trying to rush me through to get to the next patient. This is a great experience in my book.

Hands down worst dentist we’ve ever been to. Scammed every step of the way, charged for things they didn’t do, dentist didn’t even look in our mouths.
THEY WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU.

I used to love going to this office but when I actually had an emergency the dentist named Beyae completely messed up an infection in my mouth. No one called me back in the middle of the night from the Emergency line and when I finally got into to see them the dentist laughed at me and said well lesson learned. When I called to speak to the owners about my experience I was asked to call back. I used to recommend people to come to this place but not after I was treated so terrible with a real emergency. I never did get a call back from anyone to see how I was doing after going to the oral surgeon.

DO NOT, go here. Unless, being laughed at and brought to tears is your thing… then by all means check it out. I have never had such a terrible experience at a Dentist office. The front offices makes wonderful promises and says you’re booked for one service. You get there and nothing, within 90 minutes has happened. Didn’t receive a dental exam or cleaning, which is what I asked for however I received terrible service and rude staff instead. Although the one of the girls in the back tried to make up for the previous experience it was too little too late; and had already gone completely down hill. I went to the front after 90 minutes of wasted time, to find out they’re booked until the middle of January, and even better somehow that was my fault because I needed a 2 hour block of time. When I left on the brink of tears due to pure frustration I was left with laughs from the front desk. Went back and canceled my husbands appointment for later that week. We will NEVER go back to this office. I recommend to find someone else as well.

Staff seems to be changing and not for the better. The friendly staff I once experienced is no longer. wont be returning.
