Meet the Business Owner

Ami F.

Business Owner

I started practicing and studying yoga philosophy and asanas at the age of 8. Since 1997 I have been practicing yoga with renewed dedication, taking classes and workshops and allowing yoga to change my perception of the world as well as heal my body.

During this time, I completed my MA in Behavioral Neuroscience at USC. Deepening my understanding of the mind and body connection. What we think affects how we see the world and how the world responds to us.

I started teaching yoga in 2003. I have studied and taught classes in many different styles and techniques. Over the summer of 2007, I went to Mysore India to study with Pattabhi Jois at the Ashtanga Research Institute. am constantly amazed by the healing powers of this practice, not only for the body but for the mind. Yoga helps reduce or eliminate symptoms from a large number of chronic diseases, and it is invaluable in preventing injuries for those with healthy bodies.
