French Tip Nail Salon

Being the picky client that I am. I have recommended this place to every single one of my friends. Might I mention I have been coming to french tip for years. The reason I never go anywhere else is because #1 cleanliness (which is HUGE when it comes to nail salons) #2 choice of colors (literally every color of the rainbow is here) #3 Service any technician you get gives you their 100% undivided attention no matter who you are.
My best recommendation make an appointment, show up on time, sit in the spa chair and indulge!

Wow this place is hands down one of the most SANITARY nail salons I’ve ever been to!!! I’ve seen them cleaning every spa chair and disinfecting the tub after every client. Also, the customer service they provide is beyond excellent and this has become my go to nail salon. I highly recommend anyone to give this place a try because it is amazing!

Still my favorite and only place I like to get my manicure and pedicure done! It’s clean and they do a great job! They have all up to date colors and staff is very friendly and nice! They deserve more than 5 stars!

Used to go there regularly, but today would be my last, went there around 2pm on May 11, told the receptionist that is walk-​in for myself and my daughter for both manicure and pedicure at least 3 times, the receptionist said 2:30 for me and 3pm for another appointment, I said I can wait and want to pay first, she said $ 19, I repeat again and again I want both manicure and pedicure, 15 minutes wasted talking to her. At least 2 staff were doing nothing for 15 minutes, enough time to do nail polish for a kid.

First time here and definitely won’t be my last! Came in for a fill because i didn’t want to go back to the last place i had originally gone for acrylic nails. The owner was very welcoming and hospitable. Lisa was my nail tech and was very attentive to my sensitivity and gave me a wonderful experience! Location is soo close by, looking forward to coming back. Might want to try the full body scrub next

I brought my grandma here not knowing what the place will be like. I found this on Unilocal and it had good reviews and it super close to where I live.
Upon entering, a young lady walked in from the side balcony from her cigarette break. She didn’t seem happy to see us… if anything she looked disappointed (I think she just has RBF).
I even tried making jokes to her, and got a little smirk.
So after she told my Grandma where to sit, she went back outside where I can SEE her go back to her smoke break and look at her phone… wow. I think its pretty unprofessional for clients to see that.
Anyway, Tina (I think) was the sweet lady who worked on my grandma. She was WONDERFUL! According to my grandma, she did a stellar job! Here’s what she did:

— Spa chair is lovely!
My grandma had a blister and she cleaned it right up! I’m so happy she took such great care of my grandma! I wasn’t sure about his place, and I already had a bad impression with the receptionist… which I later learned is the owner of the store! C’mon now you should know better that the face of the business is the receptionist! I know you’re not doing the actual labor but it’s a huge turnoff when you come off as a bratty teenager who doesn’t give a crap.
Anyway, I wanted to give his a 5-​star service review thanks to Tina, but because of the receptionist… it really turned me off that I had to pull it down.
On Tuesdays and Wednesday you get $ 2 off service upon Unilocal Check-​In! Woo-​Hoo! Which went towards Tina’s tip – she was WONDERFUL!!! Thanks Tina!!! (Gosh I hope I got your name right) hehe…

I like this place very much. Laid back, clean, friendly shop. Happy it’s in my neighbourhood!

This is my favorite nail salon! I don’t mind that it’s a 20 minute drive for me and that there are tons of (lesser) nail salons near me. The interior is clean and pretty; they play relaxing music, it’s quiet/​no loud yapping in another language, and they have plenty of color choices. The ladies there are professional, nice, and do a fabulous job. LOVE IT!

This was my first time going here. I needed a manicure and pedicure so i decided to give this salon a try, and it was a great experience. The receptionist was very professional and nice, and the lady who did my nails was great too. The salon was so clean and modern, not to mention the relaxing music they were playing made me want to stay there even longer. I’d highly recommend this salon!

This was my first time going there, I read great reviews on Unilocal so I thought to give it a try. I needed pedi and mani done for a friend’s wedding. Yvette, the owner she is very sweet. They did a very good job I love it! Highly recommend it!

OHHH man… I have never had such horrible service from this nail salon. This lady was soooooo rude, I cant put it into words. This had nothing to do with the technician, but the lady at the front desk. Definitely NEVER coming back here again!!!

This is my second time here and i have to say both experiences have been great. I’m not sure who the lady is at the front desk. but she’s really nice and helps the techs when she can. she started my water so i wouldn’t have to wait long. and i didnt mind waiting. and shes taking polish off another client since they’re waiting for their tech. i love the sense of urgency… the other ladies that work here are nice. although one of the ladies scared a kid.. She’s clearly not patient. but what can you expect from a little olé asian lady. my mom is asian and shes a little aggressive so it didnt bother me. but the mother was a little offended. Overall i really like this place. not sure why i dont come here more… price is GREAT.. 22 bucks for a pedi. heck ya thats nothing.

First time going there today & it was an overall success! :) I called an hour before closing, I made it in 15 minutes and left very happy with my nails. I got acrylics done-​full set for I believe $ 33. The salon is very clean and the acrylics they use are perfect and of quality. I’ll definitely be back :)

French Tip Nail Salon is the best salon in Glendale. I have been going to this place for 7 years and I love it. It’s very clean and never smells like acrylic like all the other nail salons. The employees are always nice and friendly and know what they are doing. Diane is the best and I highly recommend her.
Go to this salon, it will be onr of the best decisions you ever make

I received a gel mani, pedi, and eyebrow wax here. I loved their huge selection of gel colors, and how clean they were. I am a stickler for cleanliness, and I saw them clean the chairs and their tools while I was there. The woman at the front desk was great. She helped me match my gel color to my pedicure polish color. My mani was good, not amazing. She did get a small amount of polish on my cuticles, but I’d rather that than not having full nail coverage. She also left my nails a little rough on the end. My pedi was fine. Enjoyable. Who doesn’t love a massage chair? Jasmine, the lady that does waxing here, is 5 stars! She’s a total doll and my experience was pretty much painless. My brows look great! I finally found the perfect esthetician. I will definitely be coming back here for my monthly waxing needs.

I love this nail salon because they are professional, friendly, accessible and affordable. Getting my nails done here is always a pleasant experience. I love their pretty and clean décor. Every nail technician does a great job and I’m always happy with the quality of their work. I also get face waxing services from Jasmine and she is the best.
I strongly suggest calling before you go to make sure they have available appointments specially if you have a favorite nail technician.

Received a voicemail from someone who is presumably the manager. Evidently, my bad Unilocal review was noticed and they hunted me down and called to chat about my shitty experience.
I wish the nail tech cared as much when she was sitting RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME WITH HER NAIL SUPPLIES.

I was visiting Glendale and needed my nails done badddd. I’m a Unilocal whore and this places looked clean and promising. Chris did my nails. She was by far the most thorough and thoughtful manicurist I’ve ever had the privilege of meeting! She was sweet and did a flawless job. Owner is present and was helpful when I couldn’t decide on a color. I would drive here from San Diego to get my nails done again. Thanks ladies! What a great way to start my day. Thanks Chris!
I got full set and did and ombré dark red to even darker.

Fast, friendly service. Nice décor! Huge selection of gel and polish colors, definitely a plus!
Also, the dryers used for gel are opi and larger than at a lot of salons, so I didn’t accidentally «ding» my nails and mess them up.
I made an appointment, which I would recommend because they got busy shortly after they opened.
Highly recommend if your in glendale and need a nail salon.

This review is for the waxing services.
There is a lady named Jasmine who is available Thursday-​Saturdays. I have been going to her for almost a year now, and am very happy with her work. She naturally gives off the motherly feel, which made me feel very comfortable from the start. She is quick and effective. My hair takes about 4 weeks to fully grow back. Prior to Jasmine, I would wax and my hair would grow back in 2 – 3 weeks.
Prices here are average for nail and wax services. It is not as cheap as it can get, but then again, you are paying for the cleanliness of the salon as well as the professionalism.
The salon is also very cozy, and has a French Cottage ambiance. Helen and Yvette are really friendly and are always helpful when making an appointment.
