Great spot to get a $ 20 foot reflexology massage that starts; which a head massage and neck and than work down to your arms and than your legs and feet. The last 15 mins or so they turn you over and massage your back.
They are always busy so make sure you make an appointment or Linda the owner she will accommodate that time they are available. I usually ask for Jack. He is really good with pressure points.
If you don’t like it a certain way just let them know. They know I don’t like elbows so they never use there elbows and you can let them know if you want it soft or hard.
Tip you can tip 5 – 10 or even more if you think that what they deserve. I usually give than $ 10 or more if the massage is really good. But JACK is awesome!
They also have other services organ than the $ 20 foot reflexology.

I had a GREAT EXPERIENCE — I saw David as I wanted a HARDER/​Deeper massage. I would give him 5 stars the place 4 only due to privacy & hearing people meaning customers come in and talk, ask for massage (A LITTLE)

Well it’s $ 20 for an hour full body — need I say more?
It’s dimly lit, I like the waterfall sound and light soft music.

David (For Deeper Massage) we are talking elbows on back, I woke up a little sore, type of massage :)

It’s pretty quiet and I had the bed closest to the front desk.

Possible things YOU may not like:
It’s small so if someone walks in talking normal or a little loud you will hear it.
A fair amount to a lot of Oil is used and it can be a bit slimy (however it is washed off with a hot towel) :)
There is a few times where your muscles may be slapped a few times or hit
The guy at the desk is very «you pay first» :P
It’s not private — each little space has 2 beds in it (depends on how busy it is if you will be alone or not)
You can hear the cars on Colorado (personally I was so into my massage I barely noticed)
All though I knew that they need their beds so was ready to just get my blouse on (I had just a tank on) and sweater and go — I could feel the rush feeling — again don’t care
He did unhook my bra from the back to do the back massage at the end — I didn’t care.
NOTE* as I said I would have tipped him more but I took my tip out right away, Personally the idea of someone NOT tipping is LUDICROUS to me, so no forcing needed :)
First off I have gone to another massage place not too far from this one. I went there for about 4 years. Mostly the massages were good, but I did have a few not so great experiences. I always had the viewpoint that I really cannot complain for $ 25.00 — Usually the person doing the massage was great at usually one MAYBE 2 areas of the body, like amazing with feet but pore with shoulders, or great with arms and hands but not so great feet.
So to this location. I get my nails done across the street and was originally told they were there that way, about a year ago and they were totally new. I was told it was $ 20 for an hour body — I gave it a go that day, the guy was nice did the massage and it was basically EXACTLY done like the other place I went to. I am kind of loyal when I find a place, and this place was farther, and I figured the price would go up to at LEAST $ 25 which would match my place so why change.
Anyway, last night, I called my place and they only had 3 people there and they were all busy and I wasn’t a fan of who was there really — one was OKAY but I didn’t want to wait an hour. So I decided to drive over to this one & a little fearful I read some of the reviews while in the parking lot of Starbucks :) And I wanted something deep. The Review about David made me hopeful — I tend to ignore bad reviews unless they are the SAME and a lot. So, I called and said do you have someone who can do it hard he said yes and I asked «Is it David»? he said yes, Inside I was jumping for joy but not too much as sometimes you wonder, did David’s friend write that review? LOL :) Anyway I went in, it was a nice comfortable mildly lit (so on the darker side) there are basically 2 beds in the same little curtained area. I saw about 8 beds total.
There was only 1 customer there getting a massage. I did hope and think they would put me in a bed away from the customer since all the others were empty… but nope — I decided for $ 20 I didn’t care LOL. They guy does have you pay up front, also didn’t care.
As most places you lay face up, while your feet are put in a hot bucket while they start with your head, neck shoulders and upper back (in this case), your eyes are covered once they get to the neck — you should be WARNED they do use an oil and I can bank on SOME people will not like it, it’s VERY slimy, I personally again don’t care, I just want a good massage in hopes of everywhere vs just one area. Well I have to say I was quite IMPRESSED by David. The reason being is he did not do one area really better than another. Personally I will never go anywhere else and I doubt that I will ever go unless he is available. I have to say the other person that left a review for David and said that he gave him a $ 5.00 tip (I have to ASSUME that was a typo) I only have only EVER given a $ 5.00 tip to someone I didn’t like. I Personally while getting the massage gauge my tip on how well it’s being done and how I feel at the end. My usual tip is $ 8.00 to 10.00 the highest I have ever tipped for a massage was $ 12.00. I did tip David $ 15 but for me if I had the money I would have tipped him $ 20 I just didn’t have the extra to spare.

Love this place, you automatically feel at ease the minute you step in. The environment is dark, quiet and soothing. They are very professional and you feel comfortable. They message every single part of your body and take a specific amount of time on each part. Love this place! It’s totally worth it, I’m going to make it a biweekly visit for sure!

I like this place! They give me great massage always. I recommend around noon because you don’t need wait to have massage.

The only reason I am giving this business 2 stars instead of 1 is because they accommodated my friend and I last minute on New Year’s Eve. We were visiting the area and thought we would pamper ourselves a little bit but after my experience at Ocean Spa, I am far from relaxed. My masseuse was the lady that was also the one responsible for cashiering and answering the phone. The place was very busy so she was all over the place. A spa is supposed to be a relaxing environment but the lady was practically yelling in my ear when speaking to the other employees and answering the phone. Aside from the environment that turned me off, the overall massage wasn’t equally unimpressive and had no technique to it. I had paid for the $ 20 foot reflexology and it definitely lives up to the «you get what you pay for» saying.

The best bang for your buck (no pun intended) massage. Amazing! $ 20 for per hour, and it’s all you truly need. No need for any fancy spas; this massage will do the trick.

From the beginning the massage was weird.
He started massaging my back but was not focusing on my shoulders and neck (like I asked) but seemed to be focusing on my lower back and butt. The towel kept getting lower and lower on my butt (exposing my crack). I tried to pull it up but it was pushed down again.
Then the guy started massaging my legs. He was making comments like «oh yeah» as he massaged my upper legs and at times getting too close (for me) to my girl parts.
When he was finished massaging my legs (still on my stomach) he lifted my leg to the ceiling (as if he was stretching me) — exposing my crotch for him to see!
He then asked me to flip over– I turned away from him as he lifted the sheet buy noticed him fluffing the sheet a bit high so he can get a peek at my entire body.
Once I was on my back he then started to talk to me and ask questions– «you are beautiful» «Are you married» «Where do you live» and then in broken english tried to ask if I was Armenian or Filipino…
A «normal» place usually would take care in tucking in the sheet around your legs to make sure you are covered and feel comfortable.
I am not bashful with my body but when I feel this uncomfortable in a massage there is something wrong!!!

I come here once a week, everyone is a great. They are very consistent. They are so focused on taking care of you. They massage your back with lotion and then use hot towels to remove excess lotion. Not your typical foot massage place. Definitely a level above.

Been coming here since they opened 3 years ago and til now they never let me down. always got the best massage.

Absolutely amazing. The place has a great atmosphere with fantastic lighting. I didn’t believe that it was $ 20 for 60 minutes so I had to check it out for myself… They have a variety of types of massages to get, but the $ 20 hour massage consisted 20 minutes of a head, neck and arms massage, 20 minutes of shoulders, oil back and legs, and 20 minutes on the feet… So pretty much everything! I like my massage pretty firm and David (The guy who I had) was fantastic. He catered to what I wanted. I gave him a $ 5 tip at the end.
The only thing I would say is to call in advance, they were pretty busy but they squeezed me in! I had to wait about 20 minutes but was no problem.
I highly recommend going here… Especially because It’s just so damn cheap!

This place is what it is… I have had my mix of masseurs and masseuses… None have given me the heebie-​jeebies. You really can’t beat it for $ 20.
Now in comparison, I’ve had mediocre experiences in SGV where the men are just plan yucky old men.

MODERN SLAVERY go see it yourself, the guy massaging my feet was falling in and out of sleep I felt so so uncomfortable!!! The workers are chased by that ugly skinny cashier bitch, she is very rude and disrespectful. When I was done I tried to stand up and she came stood right by me trying to push me out with that basket that u leave ur items in… un fucking believable, I told her to calm down and give me some space, so then I stepped in some water so I asked her to give me a towel so I can dry my feet… What she does is jaw dropper, she came back with a dirty towel and just throw it on the floor… oh my God if I could get my hands on that idiot… but she is not worth my time !!! She was rushing me out because she wanted to use the spot for her other customer… Im defiantly reporting her for staff abuse and slavery…

Very sweaty hands of one masseur = unpleasant experience. And no, it was not oil or lotion, it was sweat.
If that wasn’t bad enough, I also could smell cigarettes. I had to cancel plans in order to go back home to shower.
And they insisted on a tip.
There are other places of this price range that do not have this problem.

Very nice quit late night relaxin with the hubby. Great place but the things we didn’t like the most is that they kept stopping to move to different body parts when they could have done it all in one room

I had a really good full-​body massage ($ 40 for 60 minutes) by Jack. I’d say a solid ⁹⁄₁₀. The 1 point against the massage may’ve just been personal style, but here’s why it’s not a solid 10:
* I’m not bashful about my body being manipulated by a masseuse/​masseur but there was inconsistency with how my my private bits were covered. Sometimes I was covered well, other times… not. At times, I was a bit glad I had left my panties on. My breasts were also exposed at the end. Even if Jack had been Jill, I would just prefer more care in this department. Not a HUGE deal, but still…
The facility is nice and they are very accommodating. However, I think the buzzer on the dryer could be turned to silent and people (employees and patrons) should be made to turn off all cell phones.

This place is a joke. I walked out 30 min into my 1 hour massage. Apparently this place feels over lubricating, scratching, slapping and pounding on their patrons is acceptable practice. And if that wasn’t enough, the employees were socializing over me which was rude and unprofessional. The cashier also gave attitude regarding tipping! Save your money and go someplace else.

I have been coming to this place since they opened. I come at least twice a month. Yes, it is useful that I live really close but even if I didn’t I would drive to come to see them. Sure, sometimes, depending on the time of day, it can be a little noisy, from Street traffic, noisy customers that don’t understand that people want to relax, whispering amongst staff but that to some degree is to be expected by the nature of this «in/​out» massage place.
But, what you can expect is consistency. I ALWAYS get a good «foot» (body) massage. I always know exactly what I am gonna get and I have never been disappointed.
I have always been treated wonderfully by the staff, they are very kind and accommodating. I am happy to see the business doing so well and that they are busy, that being said, like anywhere, you should call to make an appointment. walk ins and big groups are likely to have to wait during peak hours due to the capacity limitations. This all seems logical, right? Just don’t get mad if there is a bit of a wait. They will do there best to accommodate everyone.
The place is clean and smells clean.
If you are looking for high end spa like treatment with all the amenities, you might be better off spending 80 – 120 on a specialized massage at an actual spa. I have been to these types of massage joints all over LA and I have to say this place is my favorite so far. They give you more than what they say… «Foot» massage, and it gets the job done.
I have never been made to feel like I have to tip, but that’s probably because I am glad to tip every single time. They work very hard and all day long and they very much deserve $ 10 or more for the price of this massage.
At the end of the day, it’s a $ 20 massage… And well worth any every penny.

Even though i had called and scheduled and appointment, they made us wait 30 minute! I dont get what the point of taking an appointment if i were to wait for my turn. The guy who massaged me, just got back from a cigarette break, thats all i smelled the entire time. With that awful experience, I tipped the guy in cash even though he did a horrible job, and once i went to the cashier, they spoke in their language and i figured that he wasn’t satisfied with average tip i gave him. With a bad experience, anyone would have mot left tip for you and if they did they would tip you MINUMU! They were really rude! Not coming back ever again!

1) The lady was so rude to my mom, my sister and I.
2) They forced us to pay $ 10 dollars for the tip for EACH OF US.
We are non-​confrontational people, and she told us to tip $ 10 each. She even said «Dont be stingy!»
3) When the massage was over she threw my bag at me and my moms bag. She was rushing us to get out for other customers.
4) We wanted the $ 20 massage and we ended up paying $ 20 + $ 10 tip that she forced us to pay through our credit card and $ 1 transaction fee for EACH OF US. Even the transaction fee for ONE CREDIT CARD was times 3.
I cannot believe this. Tip is not supposed to be FORCED. I do not understand why anyone in their right minds would call their customers looking for RELAXATION to be called stingy.
When the massage ended she immediately started fixing the massage table and did NOT change the towels. Now I know why my mom was itching all over. They are not sanitary and they over charged us. I am so disappointed and disgusted with this place.
