Hookah Lounge

I hate incompetent employees. Took 15 minutes to get my menu to me when I came in. Had to chase them down for the menu… On top of that, they screwed up on my order but I was so hungry and the order was so similar to what I had ordered (a little more expensive than what I asked for) that I just began eating.
In the middle of my meal they tell me that they messed up the order and still charged me for what I didn’t order… I can’t believe people lack this much common sense. You’d rather collect 5 bucks extra rather than have a satisfied customer?
If this was my first bad experience here I wouldn’t mind… I let two other stupid instances like this slide but their terrible service is a big problem.
Their mixed drinks are bad too.
Won’t be coming here anymore…

I use to patronize this place every single day. I’ve spent an exorbitant amount of money and it just annoys me to see how this places quality has gone down. Hookahs are under packed. Coals are few and far between and prices seem to be getting higher and higher. The food is still good, you will just wait a WHILE. Lounge used to mean so much to me, now it’s just another hookah bar that no longer interests me

Probably the SHITTIEST SERVICE on this entire planet on a THURSDAY NIGHT.
We got there and the seats were rock hard and hurt our asses. Our server had no idea what he was talking about, he said they didn’t sell Diet Coke anymore???
It took in all 50 MINUTES FOR TWO CAESAR SALADS.
Will not be coming back.

Been coming here for a while now. It’s gotten much better over the years. Big shout out to Sako, the manager, for always taking care of everyone. :)

Stopped in randomly when I was in the area with a friend. It got the job done… a place for a quick hang out with a friend… the music wasn’t too loud the setting was really cute. The hookah was good but the one thing I still remember is how uncomfortable the bench seating was inside. It looks really nice but it was extremely uncomfortable.

I have returned to give this Hookah Lounge another 5 stars. Why? Because this Hookah lounge definitely cares about what their customers want. If you ever come across the boss he’s such an amazing and smart man, he’ll make you feel like familia so huge shout out to him! I’ve been coming here for many many years and I’ve brought countless people time after time and I always plant the seed that this is the best hookah lounge in Southern California. They all tend to return, overall besides the amazing service including the coal givers, the hookahs hit great, I’ve never had a problem with the flavors. So if you like great vibes, and being treated like a hookah family this is definitely the place to come. Message to the boss, keep the ball rolling brother you’ve got a loyal regular in me for decades to come. Cheers and God bless.

This place has completely gone downhill. The service is lacking, the hookah is even worse.
The bowl lasts for 30 – 40 mins max.
Always takes forever to flag down a waiter. The management/​owners are not professional at all. I overheard the owner talking in a very rude manner to a customer that apparently left a negative review and told the customer to take it down or else.
This place just gives off such a negative vibe.
I don’t recommend this place. There are a few new hookah spots that are opening up in the area that are have better service, food and hookah.

Love this place! Anna is super lovely and welcoming. Shanniff is great and very attentive. Customer service is great.

This was my first time at this hookah lounge. My fiancé and I loved every minute of it. The food was fantastic! The paninis are impeccable. Nice hot food. Nothing cold. The hookah was packed perfectly. Tasted just like the mix I choose. Clean hits. The drinks were perfect. Sangria is to die for! Ashley and Sacko were amazing. Best service! Will definitely return. Much love.

**Update review**: Didn’t care much for this place under its’ prior management, but under new management and noticeable changes/​improvements that have been made, the Glendale Hookah Lounge warrants an update.
Quick review: If you’re local to the Glendale/​Pasadena/​Burbank area and looking to smoke hookah, eat, relax, socialize and/​or watch televised sports with friends, then this could be a go-​to spot for you.
Pros: 1) Improved hookah quality with integrity (have been here at least 5 times under the new management), 2) Great Middle Eastern appetizers which accompany the hookah experience well, 3) Service experience is much more polite & prompt than before, 4) Calling in before arriving helps and is usually accommodated, 5) Newly discovered afternoon «happy hour» has awesome deals (food & hookah) and a great time to enjoy the afternoon this time of year (spring).
Cons: No Tangiers :(lol. (Not a big deal; I’m a big fan and crave Cane Mint from time to time).
Despite my friends & myself owning our own nargilas/​hookahs and being hookah aficionados, I could definitely see myself going back here again, and much more than before. The venue is earning back it’s name to be «the» Glendale Hookah Lounge. Keep it up.

I’ve been coming to the hookah lounge for quite sometime. The atmosphere has been pleasant. However, the service has upped its game recently, and I believe that’s it due to management (Sako). Since his being here the service has been prompt, the food spectacular, the servers are super friendly, and the location always clean!!! Thank you Sako for making this place 10X better, especially for a location in Glendale! No matter the day or time the service is the best out here. You should deff check this lounge out if you’re in the area.

Im always here especially after work. I been coming to this place since i was 18, im in my mid twenties now. N this place is still as fun as i was 18 all thanks to tony!!! N the bouncers at the front door!

This is the most god awful hookah lounge I’ve ever had the misfortune of coming to. I’ve been twice, and both times I’ve left wishing I’d just stayed at home and twiddled my thumbs for an hour, because that’s basically what I paid to here while sitting in front of severely unsalvageable hookah.
They have a security guard at the entrance who checks IDs. This makes me feel like I’m coming to an 18+ nightclub.
The service is essentially nonexistent. If you get lucky, your server might glance at how it’s going before they walk past you, otherwise, you’d better hope you ordered everything you needed that first and only time you saw them (before they come to scoop up the bill of course).
Maybe it’s a daytime hookah lounge (if there even is such a thing)? I skimmed some other reviews and got the feeling that they offer better service in the daytime but on busy nights get a little cheeky and take their customers for granted.

One of the few hookah places that I actually like. Full menu with good food and alcohol, DJ most nights. Prices are reasonable and service is good. Anna is the girl to ask for :) They will work with you to provide you the best hookah experience.

Second time having a bad experience here. First time, came with 3 friends and they charged a 15% gratuity. For what, changing the coals once?
This time, they wouldnt let my 32 year old uncle from vietnam drink even with a picture of his passport. they told us that each person would have to spend $ 10 or if we didnt, they would just add it to the bill. Oookay… fine. So we had to find things to spend our money on.
Got a glass hookah for $ 35. Then ordered a sampler plate for $ 17. Feta, sun dried tomatoes, and pesto. It was mostly cheese and my side of chips didn’t come with salsa or dip. Wtf. Another plate of mozzarella sticks, zucchini fries and 2 shots.
Bill came and it was $ 113. They also added a 15% gratuity fee on top of charging $ 10 per person. and THEN tax. Pretty bad night if you ask me. 2 stars for our server that tried

2 stars for the owner he was pretty awesome. He security guard is a piece of poo and kicked us out when we where already seated because there where other people waiting which should have been his job to make sure he went and got them seated first.
She also didnt serve us drinks until 25 minutes later… won’t be coming here again.

I went back to this hookah lounge the same day and thought I would have another 5 star hookah experience. I knew it wasn’t possible. Too many other reviewers didn’t show a 5 card.
Hookah: Fumari Lemon Mint, AF White Grape (made a mistake on my first review White Grape is Alfakher not Fumari)
2^nd Hookah: Nakhla Grape, Orange, Blueberry
I generally stick with Fumari as my go to but I gave the Nakhla brand a shot. It sucked. Server couldn’t smoke so the hookah dude came out, tried it and agreed to swap it out for a Fumari blend. I’ll pay the extra, no problemo!
Why the bump down to 3 stars? The waitress seemed to be giving off good vibes and high fiving other patrons but one thing she missed… re-​filling our drinks! This is one of the easiest things to do. Fill a jug, walk around and fill everyone’s drinks up. Having been to a shipload of other hookah lounges I keep my expectations at where the average bar is set and these guys just couldn’t keep up on my second visit.
Would I return? Yup

I’m pretty surprised about how shitty my experience was here. I can’t even think of where to begin.
First, I was with 3 other people when we arrived. The bouncer immediately told us that they would not serve anymore alcohol to my friends because they were already drunk. Fine, whatever.
Our waitress was probably new because she didn’t know much about the menu, but in addition to being inexperienced, her «I don’t knows» came off with some attitude. I don’t care, you can just bullshit me. Hell, you can even ask someone for all I care, but spare me your attitude.
After we decided on what to order, our waitress told us that it was policy that everyone at the table had to spend at least $ 7 dollars per person. I’ve NEVER heard of such a bullshit policy in my entire life. Fortunately for them, we already ordered enough anyway.
During our time there, the lounge was mostly empty. There was a couple right next to us, and another table behind us. Our table and the group behind us was definitely audible, but by no means were we being overly loud. One of the supervisors walked over to us and told us to be quiet.
I’m not being bitter because the couple right next to us told us that we weren’t even loud and that we should enjoy ourselves and have a good time. Out of all the people there that would tell us to be quiet, it would have been the couple but we weren’t even bothering them. The table behind us continued to laugh and talk but they never got told to be quiet.
Stay away from this lounge by all means.
