History

Established in 2005.

The company’s flagship product, the invisibleSHIELD, was created by Phillip Chipping, who then formed Protective Solutions, Inc. in March 2005 and started selling the invisibleSHIELD product online, and in locally-​owned gadget retailers. The company began in a back yard shed, selling $ 200 worth of goods per day. A few months later, in September 2005 (2 weeks after Apple Inc. had released the first iPod nano) the company sent out a press release announcing their concept of offering full-​body gadget protection with a patented, clear protective film as a new alternative to bulky cases. Due to the high level of response, the company began designing full-​body invisibleSHIELDs for many different types of electronic gadgets.

Today, ZAGG now has a huge product line and is the #1 cellular accessory company in the world. ZAGG has also been known for their top selling keyboard case for the iPad and iPad Mini.

Business Owner

Bradley has always had an entrepreneurial mindset. From lemonade stands at 9 years old to selling pop out of his locker in grade 8 because the school banned pop, Bradley has always been finding unique ways to make a living.

He started buying invisibleSHIELDs back in 2005 and installing them on family and friend’s gadgets. After graduating from business in college, Brad decided to contact ZAGG in 2010 and brought the very first ZAGG retail location to Canada in Richmond, BC at Richmond Centre.

In 2013, Bradley partnered with fellow entrepreneurs Jimmy Flores and Tazmin Barrett and together they now own and operate 7 locations across Vancouver, Arizona, and Toronto. Bradley and the others are continuing to grow the business and expand into even more locations. He is very passionate about gadgets and loves to share the amazing products that ZAGG has developed to enhance everyone’s mobile experience.
