THIEVES! One star is too much for this dental office. I was assigned to this dentist by my insurance. I went in for my initial check up and was told –with a high sense of urgency– I must get fillings or else I’ll need a root canal in the near future –of course I scheduled my appt. and a couple of weeks later I’m getting my 2 «urgent» fillings, once the procedure is done I’m told by the receptionist that my insurance doesn’t cover my fillings and my cost is $ 380, I asked her to check with my insurance, she said she did… twice –so I trusted in her word & as a representative of this dental practice. Dissatisfied with my dental insurance, a few weeks later, I decided to switch my plan/​provider and as I review my current coverage to start shopping for a better plan, I find out the fillings are in fact covered! (I will admit my bad for blindly trusting & not reviewing this myself before paying!). I called my insurance, explained the urgent need, as expressed by the ‘professional,’ to get fillings and my out of pocket expense, despite being covered. Long story short, a claim was filed. Within days I’m notified that the dental office reported my treatment as a cosmetic procedure, clearly lying but also disqualifying me from my coverage. As part of the claim, a panel, including licensed dentists, reviewed my case and ruled in my favor, requesting I’d be reimbursed for the total amount –minus my $ 5 copayment. Whether they were being lazy, incompetent or if this is a common practice to steal quick cash– I won’t know, just like I’m left wondering if I’ll ever get my money back, so far NO luck, although I’m sure if it was the other way around, and I owed them money, they’d be harassing me & sent me to collection!

I have been going to Dr. Yekikian for over 10 years and being able to say «I love going to my dentist» says something about him and his staff. The staff, especially Evelyn, makes you feel like you are walking into the Cheers bar where they warmly greet you right away and take care of you.

What a WASTE! This «dentist» was assigned to me automatically through my employers insurance and I will be paying out of pocket going forward because he was a joke. Appointment started with a 40 minute wait, then finally taken back for a total 3 second visual inspection by the «dentist» who said my teeth looked «good». They took 2 X-​rays which were printed out to 2×2 pics for the dentist to look at for a total of 2 seconds then walked out and told me to come back for cleaning! WHAT? Cannot believe I wasted my time with this place. Beyond pissed to not even have my teeth cleaned when that was the only purpose of the visit. Honestly though i would never want those archaic tools touching my mouth. Such a sham!

My company changed our insurance, and had to find a new dentist because of the lack of coverage. I choose this dentist based on Unilocal reviews. I took my daughter here and was extremely disappointed. It took 30 minutes waiting for the dentist, then the dentist sees her for less than 5 minutes and didn’t do a through check. The worst part was the cleaning. The cleaning consisted of polish and fluoride treatment. I asked if they were going to floss, and they stated «not at her age». My daughter is 7. Now… I make my daughter floss and brush her teeth daily, but what if I didn’t? This dentist wouldn’t even floss her teeth? This is bad service and I do not recommend them! Switching dentists asap.

Great dentist. Friendly office. Easy parking. They don’t try to up sell you a bunch of stuff. I don’t have a lot of reasons to drive to the valley but this is one of them.

Dr. Yekikian has been my dentist for over 25 years, WOW… That should tell you how much I trust his work. He is very friendly, caring and a true professional. And let’s don’t forget his office staff which are the best.

Dr. Yekikian is honestly such a cool guy! I never really liked going to the dentist but he makes me feel comfortable and he’s gentle when working on your teeth.

I have been a patient of Dr. Yekikian’s for 20+ years. My husband and son go to him as well. Unfortunately, I have just moved out of state and I will miss having Dr. Yekikian take care of my teeth. I agree with the other reviewer that he is great at giving novicaine. I have never felt the shot, or had any pain during drilling. His part-​time hygenist, Arlene, is wonderful as well. I would highly recommend Dr. Yekikian and his staff.

I have been going to Dr. Yekikian for years. He is the absolute best Novocaine giver on the planet. You don’t feel a thing!!! He also works in Burbank — different offices different days of the week. Everyone in the office is nice and friendly. There is parking in the back, just drive down the skinny little driveway on the south side of the building.
