History

Established in 1997.

Kelly & Small is part of a long legacy of accountancy. The business first started in 1947 and every few decades, one accountant would retire and bring on another managing partner. David Small joined the firm as a managing partner with Ed Kelly in 1997, thus changing the name from Kelly & Masters to Kelly & Small. After a long and prosperous career, Ed Kelly retired in 2015. David Small now owns Kelly & Small CPAs, LLP.

Business Owner

David B. Small graduated from the University of Southern California in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. He went on to receive a Masters of Accounting from USC in 1988. Upon graduating, he worked in both the Audit & Tax Departments of Coopers and Lybrand in Los Angeles. Mr. Small then went to work for a Real Estate Development firm as a Vice-​President and Controller. It was there that he gained his expertise in Real Estate Tax and Finance.
