History

Established in 2000.

Sergio Leal, a professional dancer, entertainer, nightclub promoter and business entrepreneur established Latin Dance Pro with his former business partner Salud Leon in 2000 and became the first couple to teach and choreograph a unique style of elegant Salsa! For Sergio and Salud, dance was more than a hobby.

The two longtime friends discovered their shared love for dance in college, and their natural talent was recognized early on.

Today, Sergio manages his own dance academy and entertainment company, Latin Dance Pro and teaches over 300 students per week.

Despite his many accomplishments, Sergio’s humility and patience enables him to do what he loves most, and that is sharing his passion for dance with others. Sergio’s dance background includes American Style Ballroom, Argentine Tango, New York Hustle, and Salsa.

Professional Latin dancer and Master Instructor, Sergio Leal, became a professional dancer and world dance competitor after graduating from Cal Poly Pomona with a Degree in Pure Mathematics in 2000. His dynamic performing skills and unique choreography have entertained audiences across the U.S. and have been featured in award-​winning routines, T.V., film and numerous articles and magazines throughout his dance career.

His dance background includes Latin Ballroom, Argentine Tango, Hustle, and Salsa.
